Wow I was really interested in the way that you secure the loose fabric on your feet in crossback straddle. Are you holding the fabric with your toes? It looked secure but so quick! It's a really great visual for one of those "staple" tricks! Great work, I loved watching.
Hi Cheniser! Thank you so much for your comment, I'm very glad you liked it! (: Sorry for taking so long to answer though. About that trick, yes, you're right..I'm holding the fabric with my toes! We call this trick as "the courtain"! haha To get it right, the most important thing is, before you put the fabric between your toes, to grab the fabric as lower as you can, so that you'll be able to create enough space to pass your body, when you get up from upsidedown straddle! Have you done it yet?
you just need to keep practicing u cant really do much about the dizzy part. if you were doing a routine its better to doing anything that involves spinning to the end
Gracias!
Thanks Nadean! I guess aerial silk is an infinite way of art...we can always learn something new and that's the best part, right? And yes, I'm not in the best form, but I'm working to get there one day..the most important thing is not to give up! (:
Hi! The fabric was already made that way, so the silk was bought in this color. I guess it might be possible to tie dye a silk, but I really dont know how..maybe RUclips knows it (:
Hi Jane! I dont know if it's the same for you, but when you visit this page - or any other one - the name of the music appears right below the description! ^^ I guess this is something new on RUclips, but helps a lot! Sorry for taking so long to show up and thanks for watching (:
Helen V Hi!! Sorry for taking so long to answer your comment. Fortunately there are some good people around there, like arfalathwen that helped you ^^ this music is very good!
I was so excited to start the silks and when I finally did I also found out exactly how painful it really is, now I'm constantly covered in different little bruises and burns. It takes so much to make these moves look beautiful and effortless!!
Maddie Dying It is soo worth the pain! The first few weeks are the hardest ones because your body needs to adapt itself. To avoid burns try wearing long leggings and be sure to wear a top that cover about half your arms. You'll see that after a few weeks you will no longer feel any pain
point your toes and straighten your legs!! practice makes perfect :)
I can literally feel the pain she’s in
Loved your fabric work at 6:00! I've never seen that before.
You're very good! I really liked it!
Wow! I just started aerial silks a few months ago. Do you have any tips for strengthening for very beginners?
just do a lot of climbing
Do 25 push-ups a day then move up to 100. That’s what I did and it helped a lot
Climb, do hip keys, and work on building up resilience to blood flow (practice inverting and holding upside down)
