Not sure the audience understands what aerial silks are...... or that dancing on two pieces of fabric where you could fall and severely injure yourself is hard. She deserved so much more applause
I don’t get people who say they don’t realise how much strength this needs and how hard it is. Like can you bend like this? Can you pull yourself up this way? Most can’t so the whole „she makes it look easy” argument feels so weird to me, am I the only one?
The fact that I’m either able to do or currently learning all of these moves is absolutely crazy to me. I found this video just less than a year ago before I had started training in silks and this is proof of how far I’ve come. Of course, I don’t have the strength or stamina to link them together yet but hey I will come with time. Thanks Bambi for being such a great teacher and helping me get his far!!

I gave silks a try at circulation, it's super hard, lots of upper body. I ended up not being able to do much of anything the entire class, I'd say I'm like, average strength. Gotta hit the gym and get reeeeally good at pull ups (ie be able to do more than my current 3) before I try again
Wow being someone who is terrified of heights, I find this breathtaking. Not only she has amazing skills but the expression on her face shows the passion that she has for doing this. This kind of art needs more love and attention
A lot of these moves are so simple, things you learn when you start out, but you had the strength to execute them with a control that makes them look stunning! I kinda just flop around. XD.

They're called egg beaters! You might here some other name, but it's when you wrap your legs twice around the fabric and they act just like foot locks. I learned my very first dive from them, and there's so much more you can do!
@@leger6123 I learned eggbeaters as when u do the double wrap, and the fabric from the top goes under, so its still secure. I just use it as a way to get even footlocker for splits. cool to learn different terms tho

The dance was a tad bit slow but the drop at the end was nice.
