I think this is actually kind of comparable to some of Queen's best work. Only time will tell if it gets to the same status, but it already has it when it comes to me.
Day6 coming for their fans real hard. They chose to give the fans something to keep wanting for more instead of giving priority to winning awards and that's how you know, you're stanning the right group.
in my opinion the book of us: entropy is DAY6’s best album. i don’t know how they’ll top this. it’s so creative and explorative yet at the same time none of it feels incomplete or lacking. major major props to DAY6 for this. they’ve done a stellar job for this comeback
jaethebaeby I’d personally still give the #1 spot to Entropy. It’s just so diverse, the structuring of the album is great, and I feel like it has more “WOW” moments than Demon did. At least for me.

When I first heard "Rescue Me" I reacted EXACTLY THE SAME at the end, throughout the song I had a desire to cry!! God!!! Also, I followed that feeling of being abandoned, and that it was my despair that sang, AAAH GOD, I LOVE DAY6!!
There is so much on my mind about this album and how I'm madly in love with it, so I'm just going to share a problem I have with Day6, cause every time I listen to them I tell myself "oh, Sungjin's voice is unbelievable, he is the best!" then comes Jae killing the his part and I'm like "oh, wait, maybe not" and then Young-k is lie I'm the coolest one and the I hear Wonpil's voice and it's like he is telling me how dare you ignore me, even Dowon who doesn't have any parts in singing confuses me sometimes!
I was shocked at first when you said you've never listened to Prince until I remembered how young you are and realized that there's probably a lot of music you've never had a chance to hear. Then again, with 39 albums over 40 years (particularly Purple Rain which went 13 times platinum) and his consideration as a guitar virtuoso, it's a little bit like hearing someone say they've never listened to Michael Jackson. I would love to watch your reaction to "When Doves Cry", "Let's Go Crazy", and "Purple Rain" as a first-time listener, particularly with a guitar student if you could find one that had never heard any Prince songs before.
I getcha but given that "radio" and "TV" are no longer shared public experiences of music, and that media channels are so niche-based, it makes 100% sense why people born after the 90s are not familiar with so many famous artists.
re-watching all reacttothek day6 first album listens again and im realizing that, specifically this 2 are one of the biggest factors why i love day6's music. its their breakdown and the reactions that they do that add depth to the already deep music discography of day6(for me)
never really listened to kpop but i did have a few songs here and there on my phone. never listened to day6 though and one time they showed up in the similar artists section and so i listened to like 2 of their title tracks and liked them but didn’t listen to anything else. one day on my way to taco bell i just thought “you know what lemme listen to one of their albums” ended up choosing the entropy album and NOT A SINGLE MISS EVERY FUCKING SONG WAS A BOP. this was in may and that was the album that got me into day6 and made me a my day i stan these boys so hard and hope that i get to experience a live show one day in atlanta 🥺
