- Hey all. This is a powerful/OP early game grave scythe build that uses strength and bleed with bloodflame blade! This was a really fun one to do and hopefully it helps make the early game a bit easier! You'll be able to get good physical damage and quick bleed build up with this setup.
*Grab sacred blade or any holy for an easier Skeleton farm (I forgot how much easier it makes the farm).

if u hit the skeletons while theyre ressing they perma die as well but its way easier with sacred blade

During weapon farming grab a scared blade ash of war north of third church of marika and put it on uchi it'll one shot skeletons and get rid of the annoying respawning thing

when farming for the scythes theres also a graveyard right in front of the church where theres the academy scroll, theres 3 more enemies in there to kill making 5 scythe wielders and 1 great axe wielder
at 18:55 the grave site you see to the right is easier to farm than the one at the top of the hill. has two skeletons that can drop the grave scythe and another week skeleton, much safer to farm. also as someone else mentioned, sacred blade ash.

Thanks for the guide! Very helpful. As a new player I would have liked if you explained how to unlock ash and magic aswell as I was confused why I could not use it. I was to slow after i killed the dragon, so I had to start over, but got lucky and got the scythe in 4 tries. I used the right side graveyard and sacred blade ash, super easy.
Thanks! And I’m not sure what you mean by magic. I used heavy affinity & bloodflame for the spinning weapon ash.

Damn I mentioned that spinning weapon was left out when you made a best grave scythe builds video on your second channel. Little did I know you had this video coming lmao. Also a tip for flame grant me strength, if you just hug the wall you can actually go behind both of the flaming chariots and they wont aggro til after you pick it up. I've never died getting the spell and probably done it around 20 times.
Another thing I like to do is kill niall since your going to want the milicents prosthesis anyways and you can cheese him using the rot geysers outside of his arena. Rallying Standard is slightly better than the golden vow ash of war with slightly less duration so if im going into a fight that isnt going to last more than 30 seconds I use rallying standard instead and then just remove the item from my inventory to get out of heavy load.

The scythe farmIng part, has anyone noticed a difference if you farm morning, afternoon or night? Nice video mate. 👍🏻
The area just on the other side of the sunken path has 3 that spawn, you won't have to deal with the giant axe wielding one and it's closer to the grace if your using the pickled fowl foot

i would recommend the opposite acc (as in going dex rather than str for spinning weapon), if ur going to use heavy other ashes of war like sword dance, phantom slash, or anything along those lines. Spinning weapon is rlly for NG+ when you're able to swap out a heavy affinity to quality when u get to high enough lvls.
For the grave scythe specifically it gets more AR and damage from heavy affinity.
@@TheKingofRedLightning ah yeah i worded it kinda badly yea early on heavy is the better option esp since ur two handing the grave scythe. Just that for spinning weapon IMO you're gonna want the dex for casting speed and recovery time etc since the ash of war itself is high dps but leaves you fairly vulnerable. So i was saying Heavy with other ashes of war rather than Heavy + Spinning weapon isnt as ideal in the early until you're able to switch to quality and actually reap the benefits of the high dex casting
@@psnyesyesyap4401 dexterity only impacts casting speed on spells & incantations. The only thing is that lighter weapons have faster animations. The speed is not altered by dexterity. Ashes cannot be sped up by putting points into Dex. The only thing that changes is faster animations for smaller/lighter weapons.
I had to watch three times the part where you were passing the 3rd Church of Marika in Limgrave and leave the sacred blade aow in the scarab :D

Yep that would be good 👍 no arcane needed. Bloodflame is a flat 40 bleed.

Curious, I trying to build a Grave scythe bleed build for endgame but I’m confused on what stat to focus on. I’m level 158 and currently I have most my points in strength, should I keep it that way or invest in Arcane ?
Definitely, Arcane is the most broken stat in the game since the bleed on a bloodflame buffed scythe is broken.
I disagree arcane does not scale the bleeding on blood flame, you’re better off pumping strength more tbh

not my build 😂 I just found in yt and I used it cause it's cool (I'm so bad in soulslike game, I'm to lazy to read the description for each item lol) I'm just worried that if I already have a build and then I want to use this build I have to create a new save (elden ring its my second soulslike game i played before this I played mortal shell)
The farm site for grave site immediately to east is better. No 'boss' and three potential scythe drops, not two

I got the executioners great axe before I got the scythe. I’ve been farming for over 2 hours still no scythe lol
Just got the axe a second time. 3 hours in still no scythe. Have been using silver pickled fowl foot too.
Finally got the scythe
No lie it took me like an hour to farm the scythe and once i got it i ended up with 2 from the same attempt lmao

You can also farm the other 3 minor skulls prior to those on top. To the right on the other graves

You just need the ash, put it in heavy affinity then add bloodflame before using the ash.

How is the distribution of points at higher levels?
I think there should be a 150 build in the description. You’d want high strength, 50-60 vigor, good mind & endurance around 25 or so.

@@Reaper2Times late game? Shard, rotten winged/Millicent’s prosthesis, lord of blood’s & optional one. Great runes I rarely use, but Morgott’s is very helpful.

Nah it’s not imo. Way better bleed with spinning weapon.

both ash of war are pretty similar
They’re both good. Spinning strikes has a bit more range though.

yea duel scythe is good for pvp especially grave scythe with effect paired with winged scythe in right hand for amazing ash of war.

It’s the best early game farm. So it’s up to you, either start over or press on to Stormveil & level up through bosses.
You could dual wield the scythe in this build correct?
Yeah sure. More weight but keep in mind you can only use Bloodflame on one weapon.

It’s to the right of Rotview balcony (you can see it from the Grace). You then go around the left side of the fort to grab it.
What would the final build look like if it could carry you through the whole play through?
51 strength. 60 vigor. Shard of Alexander, rotten winged sword insignia, Millicent’s prosthesis or ritual sword, lord of blood’s exultation. White mask too. 🤘

@@gamerant6477 yep your main damage stat in heavy affinity is strength. Vigor & endurance you’ll need too as well as some mind.

It took me from 12 pm to 8 pm to get this weapon
Wow yeah that’s a long time. I’ve heard of 1-2 hours before, but 8 is pretty wild. 8 is much more common for something like the magma blades, which can take 10 hours or more for some people. Honestly wish they’d buff the drop rates.

It’s a very useful farm but it’s tough for sure. There’s very little margin for error when running back to the Grace.

I’ve been farming this for 3 and a half hours and have gotten nothing
It’s a ton of RNG. The magma blades for example took me 5 hours to get 2. This one is slightly better but the drop rate is 2%. So you gotta figure on average 50 times to get 1. Silver pickled fowl foot will make it around 4% though.

Maybe, but I’ve got a bunch of other videos in the works currently. Generally for endgame you would want shard of Alexander, rotten winged sword insignia, lord of blood’s exultation. Thorny tear & faith tear for buffs. Pump up strength to at least 60. 🤘

It can take a few hours to farm some of the items in Elden Ring unfortunately.
