Kristin, I started dotting a few years ago because of your beautiful art. I recently had surgery on my arm and have lost my ability to write. Last weekend, I tried my hand at dotting and I’m able to! I’m so grateful.
Thank you for your generous lessons! I have painted every one of your mandalas and are creating my own now. This has changed my life. I wake up thinking of patterns and color combinations, painting 1-2 a day. I've mostly gifted these to friends with cancer and they carry them (stones) with them to chemo treatment. Now family members all want one too. I also appreciate your acknowledgment of your teachers. Shows your exceptional character. Rock on and paint more!
WQW. Just Wow! Little did you know one of the things you were going to do in this lifetime is share so much beauty. And help the rest of us share it too. Thanks for being in the world and for your generosity. I'm just starting and so glad I found your videos!!
This is as entertaining as watching a good movie or a sport... I am no artist but enjoy art videos. Its great, thanks for taking effort in recording your art work and sharing.
STUNNING!! thanks for sharing your talent so that other people can learn. I’m just now beginning stages of learning to do this. It’s a great stress reliever. I can. Thanks for sharing.
last night I used your videos to create a mandala while my granddaughter was being born. It was relaxing and kept me going till she was born and I put her name on it. :-) Wish I could post it here.
Hello Dear Kristin words fall short for labour n beauty of ur Marvellous Piece of Work. This flower color scheme is so divine to look. I would love to have Bedsheets with these color schemes n pattern full of vibrant colors. Your Mandala work on Stones was Simply Fabulous. God bless you Dear, may fill ur life with happiness with such gorgeous colors.
that is very lovely. i have really always struggled with mandala, it is very precise and i rarely hit the mark. lotd of cleanup and correcting. i very much admire your beautiful artistry. thanks for the lesson!
Thank you so much, Kristin, for sharing your exceptional skill with us and making it possible for us to partake in your art. Your mandalas are the most beautiful ones!!
The green dotting on the red dahlia just made the whole thing absolutely gorgeous!! I also loved the multi color one!! I love your videos and how you walk through things step by step yet not make it boring. and also how you draw designs from things around you!! you've helped me make some of my pieces that came out stunning!
Let me just state that you are A true aspiration; because I can see so much more creativity coming forth as you continue to work with dots: I see a man and woman created with dots with a mandalas in the back ground, yes, your going to do creative things.
I just cant get enough of all of your demonstrations.... Love this one as I do all of the others.... I can't wait to get started, You are genuinely amazing.....
Beautiful, just beautiful!! You have very steady hands but you have to!!! Loved your tutorial and how you showed how one can use objects that are already there. Thank you so much .👏🏼❤️👋🏼
Thank you for share your work. It's beautiful and very inspiring. Sometimes,I practice trying to copy what you do and learn how to do perfect dots like you do.
Fabulous!!! I free motion quilt pebbles and there's something calming and relaxing about it. Watching you do this was mesmerizing! LOL. Thank you for the video!
Wow! These are stunning. I cannot afford the more expensive paints, but have bought myself a selection of Crawford & Black acrylics from my local hobby shop, along with a set of nail dotting tools, which I purchased online. I plan on following your instructions and see what transpires, although I don't expect them to be any near as vibrant as yours! Haven't started yet as waiting for dotting tools to arrive, but I have to say I am really excited about giving it a go. Thank you for your video which has given me the inspiration I needed. It looks like such a relaxing and absorbing hobby.
Kirsten I know I've said this before but you teaching skills are fantastic I'm gonna enjoy trying this one on a pot I and large rocks for my garden thank you for your great ideas and enthusiasm keeps me looking forward to your next video have a great day
Sharmila Chakraverty yes I have a lot outside I really enjoy them in the garden people love to look at them if I knew how to send you a picture I would but I don't I'm not so good in all of this computer high tech stuff
So beautiful! Thank you for showing not only your exquisite work but some mistakes as well and then how to fix them. :) I also really appreciate that you have some simple designs and some more complex. I'm going to try some of the simple stone designs and see how they turn out and if I have the patience for the more complex stuff. :) Wish me luck!
This is the first video of this technique I have watched. I am amazed! I am going to try this small scale to see if I can do it. You make it look so easy, but I know that keeping patterns that consistent is difficult! Great job and thanks for sharing this tutorial!
This Was one of the first pieces I tried when I started dot painting, I kept it because it shows me how very far I have come, it definitely was not well done🤔 I will be giving it another go now that I have great tools and a better understanding of how delicate this work really is. As always thank you for all you do
you make it look so easy. But this is so hard. I finally have my tools but my walking dots need a lot of work. Thank you for the inspiration to keep trying and improving
So very Beautiful Kristin! I cannot wait to try this one too. I am loving your "summer floral line." My acrylic crochet hooks work beautifully and were purchased at Walmart (although it was order/pick up). Thank you for that tip. Gail/Connecticut
When u start from the beginning, it now looks rather easy to create. I always saw it afterwards and it looked complex. Thanks for the upload. Gonna try this.
gee, those are gorgeous. In the 70's, they sold purses with the raised color dots similar to this...kind of like lizard skin in texture. Really like these!
