I’m not sure how much you know about Lunar/Asian/Chinese/Vietnamese/Taiwan/Hong Kong/Malaysian/Korean/Singaporean New Year, but every year the children/teenagers/young adults receive lucky red envelopes 🧧 with lucky money from their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, and elders (anywhere from $1 to $100). Some even receive presents as well. Depending where you live, the communities will have a New Year festival at a temple, church, community center or festival fairgrounds. I believe the Chinese and Vietnamese communities in the USA have the biggest celebrations. It was nice to see you celebrating Lunar New Year with your children. Wishing you lots of happiness, luck, great health, and prosperity.
