Even if he killed ironhide and betrayed his own family, I still think Sentinel is one of my favorite autobots. He is like a world War veteran or a Kung fu grandmaster who had a lot of experience plus his he is very wise and his very true to his words, the humans did betrayed them in the fourth and fifth movie. You can really tell that he is more of a leader than optimus, it's just his love for his race and home that drove him to do bad things and leads him to his death.

When i compare optimus' viewpoint and sentinels viewpoint at 4:22 i would say that optimus is the bad guy here. Sentinel was right about everything he said, and joining forces with the decepticons to rebuild their old home isnt betrayal at all because it was decepticons home as well. Megatron is stronger than both of them. Remember him in TF1,2, or 5? In 1 Optimus woulda died without Sam, in 2 Optimus did die, and in 5 he lost an arm and still had Optimus pinned for some time. If you wanna include Galvatron, he was easily stronger by invincibility. He was still pretty strong in TF3, at his weakest. If he flew with one arm in TF2, then it means he can again after Optimus kicked him off the ship in 5. I believe he’s still alive.

It's confirmed that optimus is the strongest.
It's just that Sentinel is literally the guy who taught him his moves, of course optimus is gonna loose if he fights like he usually does, it doesn't mean that Sentinel is stronger.

All hands down, sentinal is one of the stronest autobot, best hand to hand fighter, optimua has no chance, sentinal is desrved call 'A REAL PRIME' always lawyal to his planet, megatron saved optimus from dying, otherwise sentinal woukd have killed optimus

Ironhide was and will be my favourite character from movie franchise but there something in Sentinel, i guess he has the best character development of all main villains. And i must admit his design in robot and vehicle is pretty cool.

I feel like in sentinal’s stand point, he’s done nothing wrong, his entire species was wiped, all he was trying to do is bring his people back, we see him as evil cause he was trying to eliminate humanity, but thats cause we are human, if earth was destroyed on day and we find a planet of species that is weaker/smaller than us, we would do the same thing

He made the hard choices. He killed Ironhide because he would be the leader after Optimus. He was about to kill optimus and this because he knew the humans dont care of the Autobots and he wanted his home back
Bru ironhide was trying to protect sentinel but at the end it was ironhide who need protection
sentinel has his shoulderguard all the way until he is about to stab optimus

I'm so glad sentinel killing Ironhide had copyright protection. It's such a sad part of the film. Ironhide is my favourite character and always will be. So glad I didn't have to see his death again
