Actually there is way more content you can react: the recent Summer Sonic festival performance, Rami on Lee Mujin Service, Knowing Bros episode, The Silence of Idol, The Making of: Sheesh Docummentary, Babymonster Japan Fanmeet Behind the Scenes... all of this is worth to watch either because they have great performances or because it is really funny content. Hope it helps!
Hi Monstiez Emile here! Luv your luv of Babymonster...tis luvly. Now Would you pllllllease react to 'BabyMonster- See You There, Behind in Tokyo.', live.mv ruclips.net/video/9G3BYRKujo8/видео.htmlsi=2uJGSHhB-irkk6Pn 23 minutes long from June 15,on BMs own channel. ( 2 sold out shows 26,000) Should have no copyright problems re YT because it's on BabyMonsters Channel as well , will mean alot to you after seeing Last Evaluation...great vocal times, personalities, and a essential part of there history.😈😍 Most reactors missed it
Yes! Please react to the member announcement and reaction. In addition to the other content already mentioned, their appearance on Idol Human Theater is very funny and enlightening.
The two "It's Live" performances and the "SBS" Radio live performances are worth watching. The survival show aspect was never real, it was meant to get people interested and worried that their bias could be eliminated. When you watch the video where YG announces the members, pay attention to the cards that show the girls' ages. Several of them are off by a full year, meaning that's how long ago the recording was made, but everything had to wait for YGs criminal trial to be over with. Baby monster was first announced one week later.
Definitely do the member announcement and maybe even the trainees reaction to the member announcement, but only after the member announcement. Also, keep an eye out for behind the scenes videos for the fan meets as well as fan cam videos of fan meets and Summer Sonic Festival that was held on Aug 18th. Last, keep and eye out for full album release in Sep or Oct. I think there will be plenty of Baemon content to react to until the album drops.
Yang Hyunsuk (the executive producer) explains his thought process and reason as to why decided on 5 members in the debut members announcement. All the questions you had at the end of this video will literally be answered. Again he already had his vision of how many members he wanted, but I think throughout the evaluations and also the viewers feedback..he changed his mind. Keep in mind, this whole last evaluation was filmed back in spring/summer of 2022, then in Jan 2023 that’s when they dropped previews of BABYMONSTER and The Last Evaluations. So there is a time jump/difference between the final evaluation and the debut member announcement. The girls obviously hairstyles will be different in the trainees reaction to the debut member announcement and their ages also does not match their present age (may 2023= debut member announcement video). Chiquita already turned 14 and Ruka turned 21, but in the announcement video they still had 13 and 20 under their names lol. So it can get confusing on the timeline of everything.

As much as it sucks, it was a great marketing scheme (even though it made many cry). We all fell in love with all 7 and now we can't let go of any of them. We love all seven and will defend any one of them. A lot more content for you to watch, can't wait to watch.
Please do! I really wanna see your reactions to the member announcement and member announcement reaction! Also, where is the haunting house episode 2? 👀👀👀
YG did show us the original final 5 girls that was selected years ago to debut which is Ruka, Asa, Rora, Rami and Ahyeon in a dance performance released as part of the Black and white solo performances in the Next movement introduction to Baby Monster. This Last evaluation series is really to decide how to include the Thailand members, either Pharita and Chiquita into the final 5. Blackpink Lisa had blown up the Thai market into a mega YG market and the Thai members became a must have. But the girls did become a very skilled 7 member cohesive team which meant that dropping any girl did leave a hole in their performances. You can see that hole when Batter Up and Stuck in the middle launched when Ahyeon was sick.
People generally find your channel not all that special. NO!! THAT WAS JUST “ENGAGEMENT BAIT”! Sorry, but you made it so that I could not resist! 😂 I’ve actually been patiently waiting for this reaction, thanks for finally getting here! Yes, please react to the member announcement & their reaction to it. Have you reacted to the Sheesh Documentary? How about the live shows? Babymonster Idol Human Theatre is so good but how’ll probably need to cover it somewhat. Thanks so so much! Love you two 👍 ❤❤❤-❤-❤❤❤
Rami from Babymonster recently appeared on a show called "Lee Mujin Service" about three weeks ago. It's a fun combination of her being interviewed by the host as well as singing some songs (such as "City Burns", "Bloodsucker" and a duet with the host at the end). I think you'll enjoy it if you decide to do a reaction. (It has full English subtitles that can be turned on.)
Great reaction, Can't wait for your reaction to the members announcement reaction. Minju in ILLIT is a YG trainee was part BabyMonsters lineup but didn't make it.
well i dont know why everyone was so suprised when he said he was gonna cut people cause thats what he said from the beginning that was going to happen
Loved going on this journey with you guys (even though I've already done it). Babymonster is just one in a million. Love all the girls (even though I have my double bias Rami/Asa). You want more BM content? Absolutely! Take a look at these things: - Last Evaluation Behind the Scenes ep 1-3 - All MVs Behind the Scenes - Knowing Bros ep 429 - Idol Human Theatre - YG Producers: The Making of Sheesh - ruclips.net/video/rBeg-afnSRE/видео.html
So I challenge you to Pick the 5 members you believe will make the group before you watch the DEBUTE MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT, Can you do it? Who would you leave out of the group? This was my hardest challenge when I watched this. 4 vocals, 2 rappers, 1 vocal/rapper. My ultimate stance was OT7, Keep all of them but if you had to drop to 5, who do you drop? My initial guess was which rapper do you drop, Asa or Ruka? Which vocal do you drop, Pharita or Rora and with this said, you can already guess, I had Ahyeon, Rami and Chiquita making the group. Can I have both Asa and Ruka while dropping Pharita and Rora? or do I split the pair, which way do we split it? So hard to choose. My gut feeling was keep Ruka, but my final pick was to keep Asa and Pharita.
But in the case of the other survival shows you mentioned, you would not feel like "But they need so-and-so" because you would also already know the outcome so you have already seen how the groups work without the ppl who did not make the cut. You can also go into them knowing which people ended up successfully being selected for other groups after. Do you not have the feeling that by watching Babymonster and Stray Kids in their survival shows, you learned things about them that there simply is no replacement for and gained attachment from that? There's things from I-Land and Tbox that are fundamental to my understanding of who some of the members are, like how much Ni-ki learned about leadership, what a truly golden person Jay is, Junkyu in his un-smily time which he Treasure Box actually brought him out of, how much respect I have for Doyoung's tenacity when picking who to go up against etc. My understanding of so many of the members would just not be the same without having watched those shows. Do you have regrets about watching Babymonster Last Evaluation even though there were tough moments to watch? Do you have regrets about watching SKZ survival? I honestly am not sure you would have understood the members of these 2 groups in the same way without the survival shows so there might just always be something lacking from missing out on seeing the first step of a group.
This is a really good comment that shows we haven't fully communicated the difference between the kind of show we have been able to enjoy (SKZ, BM) and others we are unsure of... It's about building an emotional connection with people who don't make the cut. We will both be unable to avoid it, and we're worried that our reactions will suffer because we will be more emotional than usual. We aren't saying we will never do it, but we are saying we won't be doing it now. I hope this helps make it clearer why that's the case
Isn't that like thinking every person who missed out on making the group was missing out on something that was the right thing for them so they must be forever after disappointed and in pain? If you think like all of them missed their one big opportunity and that's it for their young lives, then ofc you will feel deeply sad for them. Perhaps it is a different way of thinking but I tend to think that if an opportunity was missed, you are freed from something that wasn't working so now you can go find the right path for you, just like if a relationship doesn't work out, it's much better for it to come to an end, it just means that person (or opportunity) was not the right fit. I'm just worried you guys might be too like tunnel vision towards the sadness aspect when there's so many other aspects to the survival shows. like members who overcame odds, pushed their skills to a new level, grew as people in learning about themselves or learned about working with others, sometimes members overcome confidence issues and many other inspirational things happen. There's basically many of the same elements that are in a great memoir or biopic. There's sometimes hilarity too. Like, the front half of I-Land S1 was where there was more every-man-for-himself behavior, but the 2nd half of the season there were quite a lot of heartwarming moments and humor. So many Jay memes in that show. For Treasure Box you've already seen several of the sad scenes in the guide and survived them (such as Jaehyuk's struggle, Jihoon talking about leaving YG, Yoshi revealing about his dad). Even at the end of the guide Kerry said "the guide made me sad but I'm glad I watched it".Plus with fears, exposure therapy is often the remedy. At this point you've been exposed to sooooo many teary moments from kdramas, sad songs, fan compilations that I can't even count them on my fingers anymore and you survived all of them! You guys might have taken several leaps forward without realizing it. Even in this episode of Last Evaluation, there were moments that made me tear up the first time I watched it and you guys survived it better than I did!
No, it's not like thinking that at all. I've had a few attempts here at writing out a response that addresses your comparisons, but it's too long and I'd hate for people stumbling into this to think we're arguing rather than just having a very typical conversation for us! I'll ping you over on Discord when I've organised my thoughts a bit better
I think you will probably have some interesting commentary on the member announcement and reaction, but I'm worried it might sour you on things needlessly. That's my thoughts.
