Ahyeon is the 2nd rapper in Sheesh. Ruka came in First followed by Ahyeon. They did a rap duel then the third rapper Asa came in. The rap trio. Iconic.
She is literally the most talented idol i have seen in a looooooooong time. She is just getting started. She has already improved and evolved since these videos were recorded. The world is not ready for Ahyeon!
As ruka said on radio show, during 6 years of her training period, about 20 trainees were cut from Baemon project. U can see blurred face of eliminated girls on all of introduction clips.
I mean YG and the entire team knew Ahyeon would definitely be their number one pick for the finalists 😂 she’s so so so talented, it’s almost impossible. This girl isn’t just a great vocalist, rapper and dancer….she’s a genius girl who taught herself Chinese and English. She’s displayed amazing leadership skills and great empathy and understanding towards the other members. She’s always the first to take initiative, start problem solving, and the first to comfort the others. She’s the perfect idol and deserves the leader and center positions. She does seem a little shy now and seems like she’s not interested in that leader position but if she was, she very much deserves it.
We ALL HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT A PRODUCER ..WHAT A CEO...WHAT A PERSON...WHAT KINDA PERCEPTION MAN HIMSELF: "YANG HYUN SUK" really has...what an eye...what a perception of RAW TALENT & FUTURE TALENT he has....just WOW...simply 🙌🙌🙌.
Now you understand why YG ENTERTAINMENT IS THE BEST??? & WHY THEY HAD DEBUTED A GIRL GROUP AFTER 7YEARS. 1ST was "2NE1" AFTER 7 YEARS THE 2nd was "BLACKPINK" & 7YEARS LATER here they are: "BABYMONSTER" the most talented..most potential...most versatile and most complete GIRL GROUP EVER.
Thats the result what training 4-6 years could produced. Unlike many new group who trained not even a year then debuted. As a result, couldn't even sing live their own songs.
You need to watch her video singing Dangerously. She’s ridiculous. She’s the only one that can rap, sing, and dance equally well, plus confident stage presence, visuals, and helps to coach some of the other trainees. She also volunteers to take the hardest parts of songs in group performances to help the other trainees. A natural born leader and performer. She could have easily been a solo artist, but wants to be in a group. Just insane talent.
You are both right, Ahyeon raps and sings. She's an all-rounder...an ACE. Ahyeon just turned 17 so these were 1.5-2 years ago. They all have some natural ability and strong desire to become Kpop Idols and along with YG training for half a decade or more you can see why they don't look like a rookie group when they perform now. Thanks again for your enjoyable reaction. Bob from LA
In the LIVE PERFORMANCES not all of them are the age that is on the screen. The age is when the video was released and for this one I think that Ahyeon was 13 when it was recorded. I don't know if you noticed the blurred out members in the dance part of Ahyeon's introduction video but the 3 that was blurred was eliminated from the group. They do have a certain number of members in mind mostly because of financial reasons. YG as an agency have to think if they can support a certain number of members traveling not just around the country but to other countries as well. So the elimination process is part of being a trainee in the K-pop industry. People keep calling THE LAST EVALUATION as an elimination show but in reality it is a journey for the girls to debut. While YG kept saying that BABYMONSTER will not be a 7 member group it was because of the fact that he had a specific number of members for the group. The one thing that THE LAST EVALUATION showed was how talented the members are and that YG had to change their plans not just because of the talent but the bond that these girls have for each other. YG is running auditions for trainees I think like once a year. In Ahyeon's case she was already accepted to JYP as a trainee but auditioned for YG and got in.
Great Reaction Along For The Ride! You got my attention and I’m Along For The Ride! We never get tired of watching these performances over and over! Ahyeon almost had YG in tears! I get choked up every time I see this performance of Monster! Going to watch your RAMI performance so I can catch up!👶😈🤘🙏🏻
Ahyeon's performance of "Dangerously" is fantastic. But TBH, I'm even more impressed by her performance of Monster. Nonstop goosebumps. In the song she asks: "Am I the monster?" The answer: "Of course you are, Ahyeon! That's why you're one of the Baby Monsters." This is the first group that I can't really pick a bias. They're all so good and adorable. And everyone has a set of strengths that contributes so much to the whole group.
After all the intros and live’s I recommend the last evaluation but if u can’t get around to that definitely do all the last evaluation performances and solo performances also uploaded separately on their channel
that was Ruka doing the ab workout with Ahyeon. YG holds tryouts.. When you get to the Thai girls you will see that they both sent in videos as their tryout because of the shutdowns . The only one who did not tryout was Rora who was recruited without a tryout by YG at 9 years old for the BabyMonster project. She was already in a kids group with one of the New Jeans girls. When you get to Rora here are some things to keep in mind: Her real name is Lee Dain. The only one who did not have to tryout for the BM project Also a child model like Haram (Rami) Expert chef and was even a finalist on a Man vs Child cooking show (you saw her making the professional cake for Rami's birthday) Absolute genius who was a top contender in National Korean science competition. 2nd youngest but most responsible and most adult of all of them. Describes herself as all-rounder - meaning she can sing/dance/rap (yes, Rora can rap too)
That kind of makes sense. YGE is always thinking of their market as being the whole world, while a lot of Kpop labels still focus mainly on S. Korea. As a result, one of the weaknesses that many idol groups have when trying to attract global fans is that many of the members struggle with basic English..and when they try rapping or singing in English it can be quite awkward. YG knows that their groups won't have any difficulty singing or rapping in Korean. But to make sure they sound great when singing/rapping in English they need to start early so that it becomes easy later on to sound like native speakers.
@@TEAM__POSEID0N I found the interview that talks about this. In fact, it wasn't a trainee, it was two former vocal trainers from famous agencies. And it's not just YG, there's also Starship, BE:LIFT, JYP i think, among others. In addition to practicing pronunciation, according to Twice members, words in English are easier to singing high note. And singing Korean music makes those who are evaluating compare with the original singers and makes the evaluation more difficult. They sing korean, but mostly english.
When I first saw the team name, I honestly thought it was so funny. Baby Monster. Is this a girl group? I wanted to. But when I saw the members' skills... I had no choice but to admit that it was the most appropriate team name... Monster... At that age, those skills... Ah... So I can't think of anything other than Baby Monster.

Correct
I don’t think there’s another female idol as talented as her…and she JUST debuted 😂

that is not ruka.
That's not Ruka, you can even see that they blurred out her face so it means it's another trainee that hasn't debuted.
YG trainees are no joke. They even become idols in other companies if they do not make it in their system. That's how competitive it is.
ahyeon the golden center it girl
Fun fact... a trainee at one of the K-pop agencies said in interview that most of the time they have to practice with English songs for evaluation.
