Step 2 'Providing your house measurements' - The Arkiplan Process

You have a couple of options here which will largely depend on your budget and how much involvement you want in the project.
The “kick-back-and-relax” option means we’ll send out a friendly Technician to 3D Scan your entire home. This will give us the ability to virtually wander around your home and take full, accurate measurements of every part. We’ll give you access to the 3D model from all your devices too as it’ll prove unbelievably useful when you are eventually out furniture shopping or pricing up some tiles you have just seen!
If you want to save a bit of money and you like to get stuck in - You can upload your own simple floor plan sketches. We just need the wall lengths and the floor-to-ceiling heights in every room. If you’re lucky enough to have scaled floor plans from a previous project or even the estate agents plans from when you purchased the property then we can accept these too.

@arkiplan how does it work for the measurments of an outdoor space... for instance, if i want a garden room how would the 3d scan work?

Hi there! Good question. We actually wouldn't say the 3D Scan was necessary for a garden room. We can get your garden measurements from the Ordnance Survey data. You would just discuss the size, position and style of the garden room on your initial design meeting after paying your deposit. Any further questions, please email [e-mail].
