    I've been finding written synopsis for my g'children to read. I'm guessing they don't read but if they get started with this I have faith they will listen to the end. Thanks Ms. Green.

    Remember to watch M. Butterfly (movie/play) after watching the opera. And then Google "Bernard Boursicot". Do it in this exact order and you'll get the best feeling ever.
    My english literature friend suggested this to me and it was amazing.

      Yes. 100% honestly I HATE Madama Butterfly. And ms. Saigon. WITH A PASSION. M. Butterfly brought justice and I am OBSESSED with M.🦋 so if you love the opera/musical you won’t like M.🦋

    I watched this to understand some references in ‘Fatal Attraction’ better. 😬😦 Not terrified in the lest. And I’m not finished with the movie yet.

    I knew nothing about this opera and honestly I'm gonna have nightmares. 😨😨😨

    • @VivsGreen
      @VivsGreen  4 года назад +3

      Not nightmares... Miss Siagon is much much darker in my opinion. Here Butterfly is just naive.
      But I understand...

    So "MADAME Butterfly" is the original story to which that real life characters refer in the other story "M Butterfly"?

    • @VivsGreen
      @VivsGreen  4 года назад +1

      I assume so. Didn't fully understand what you mean.

    • @reynadejesus9349
      @reynadejesus9349 3 года назад

      Kinda. Ms. Saigon is inspired by Madama Butterfly. On the other hand
      M.🦋 is inspired by this opera and the real life political/romantic affair between a French diplomat and a Japanese opera singer.
      If you hate Madama Butterfly/ Toxic Masculinity (like me) you will absolutely love love LOVE. M. 🦋
      If you love Madama Butterfly....you might still like M.🦋. But M.🦋 is literally one of my favorite (if not my favorite) works of art ever.

    • @VivsGreen

      hmmm. it's not my thing. I'm all about showing positivity and encouraging people to feel like opera is accessible. But it does introduce a lot of singers that might otherwise be forgotten.

    The child has blue eyes and blonde hair? I’m guessing they not know how genes work or butterfly’s family has way more explaining to do.
