Thank you so much. This piece is my heart and soul. !!!!!!!!!
I hope a tour video is coming soon. Would love to see that Bell Diapason in HD glory!
Perfect Organ for the Franck, beautifully played. This organ sounds just as good as those big Parisian Organs, if not better.
It’s also in reasonable tune, which is more than you can say for the big Parisian organs.
Tell the recording staff that they did a great job with this recording. I felt the pedal division in my room.
Amen
Thank you very much for an impressive rendering of this particular Franck Chorale. I enjoyed it very much. Such a lovely instrument this organ!
Fantastic: This stunningly somber and profound piece, which tells such a tale of life by Franck, performed expertly on an instrument of depthless sonorities and fiery reeds. Outstanding!
Thanks!
That was lovely.
What a wonderful work to demonstrate this magnificent instrument! And Richard Clark plays it superbly. Great recording, too! Thanks.
Richard! Great guy, he let me practice at his church while I was in undergrad. Couldn't have asked for a better education than playing on a good organ in a big acoustic. I remember working on this as I was just starting out on my organ playing journey, and I believe he played through some of it for me. How excellent to hear him play again!
…And the voix humaine is “to die for..” superb.
Lovely.
Is a tonal tour of this instrument possibly coming soon? 😯 I got to play it not too long ago
Seconded, I'd love to see a stop demonstration of this organ someday!
So much Bach/Buxtehude Passacaglia influence in this piece.
BTW, Stokowski transcribed two "dusty" Bach pieces for Philadelphia Orchestra. Wish someone would transcribe this for orchestra. It would be sensational. The Vox Humana put me back into A-fib. !!! LOL
Wondering about the ripped page of music and sticky note at the end??
My dog didn't like the Franck Chorale in A Minor, LOL
