No, I think you're wrong here. They ONLY tested the store bought versions for heavy metals or phthalates and later compared the store bought versions nutritional information to the public meal versions. In the report itself it says "CR tested 12 store-bought lunch and snack kits for lead and obtained sodium levels from the nutrition labels on each package. ". And later they say "To make meal kits that qualify for the National School Lunch Program, Kraft Heinz created different versions of its Turkey & Cheddar Cracker Stackers and Extra Cheesy Pizza Lunchables. CR didn’t test these two kits for heavy metals or phthalates, but we did review their nutrition information and ingredients lists. "

Hi, Arizonan here. Fun fact: the way the law is worded doesn't specify that it's about abortion. It's worded as anything that "procures a miscarriage." That could, in the wrong hands, include medical assistance for missed miscarriages. At nine weeks, my baby's heartbeat stopped (nothing could have been done by me or the drs, the baby was dead), but my body didn't expell the tissue naturally. I had to take a medication to induce the miscarriage. If I didn't, the dead tissue would have made me sick and eventually killed me. Under the current wording of the law, that medical assistance could have landed my drs in prison for 2-5 years.

Ok I'm going to try and say this as nicely as I can but....... The reason this happened......Is because of liberals.
You see, liberals have a very "special" way of looking at the world.
They really like the concept of "The Law" and love contracts and official documents.
They love it when a celebrity gives a big meaningless speech that accomplishes nothing.
The fatal flaw of the liberal is that they see the passing of a law as the end of the fight.
1967 - "Yay! We won! Now we have the right to interracial marriage, Ok everybody time to go home, we are done here."
1973 - "Yay! We won! Now we have abortion rights, Ok everybody time to go home, we are done here."
2015 - "Yay! We won! Now we have the right to gay marriage, Ok everybody time to go home, we are done here."
The thing is that the fight never ended (and it literally never will).
There is a saying that I heard once and it stuck with me ever since. "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance"
I want you to remember this saying and repeat it every day, internalize it, embrace it, and understand it.
Once you do understand it, you'll realize one very important thing.
There is no such thing as victory, the battle will go on forever.
The only question is, Are you going to do nothing and let everybody you love be forced to live the worst imaginable life, or are you going get off your phone and DO something about it ? And I don't mean hold up a sign and proclaim your displeasure, I mean are you willing to deprive your enemy of the way of life that they want to live ?
Next time you go to Wal-mart, think about how they donated to the people who took your rights away, how they helped get them elected.
Maybe they deserve to lose out on some profits.

Arizona did this because the US Supreme Court did the same thing.
When overturning Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court had to go back to when the Nation was created to say it was illegal then for women to have abortions, therefore that was the law of the land.
But in their ruling they also forgot to account that inter-racial marriages were illegal. Conservatives found hard for almost 50 years to get Roe v. Wade, the law of the land, overturned and the Conservative Justices all said they wouldn't overturn Roe v. Wade as it was 'the law of the land'. It's unfortunate (cause it is a crazy law). But that tends to be what happens when a law becomes unenforceable but isn't removed. If it becomes enforceable again, it may be enforced. It's why removing the laws can be important to do.
I'm not surprised it wasn't removed. Legislators often don't seem the most aware of what laws are what. An example being all of the things that were made legal when states revoked their sodomy laws (a lot of them covered things outside of homosexuality); seemingly with multiple legislatures not realizing that until later.

Regarding Boeing... My aunt who used to work for the airlines brought up an interesting theory. During COVID19 there were a lot of incentives to have people retire early and now she thinks that so many people might have taken up that incentive... and the people left don't really have the experience or even mentorship needed to maintain the planes now. They quite literally don't know what they're doing.

As a resident of the great plains of Texas, those tumble weeds are terrible, but they are far from the only invasive species that is destroying local ecology.
Unfortunately, the hot, arid environment prevents most invasive species from invading, but the few that do quickly overwhelme the native populations. Hickory, bush-trees, cactus, and native grasses are some of the few that can survive, but are pushed out by tumble weeds. After the devastation of the ecosystem during colonization, and subsequent over-agriculturalization resulted in the dust bowl of the 1930s. Very few ecosystems survived without being taken over by various aggressive invasive species.
I grew up around horny toads, a type of lizard that were so common you couldn't walk more than 100ft without finding one. But, I haven't seen one over 10 years, I fear they are soon to be extinct. I have so many good memories of picking them up as a kid and rubbing their tummies until they fell asleep in your hand. It is a shame the next generation won't be able to see these beautiful animals like I did.
