As an Aussie thank you for covering David McBride. The thing that absolutely blows my mind is that the only Australian soldier who has been convicted for any of their actions in Afghanistan is the whistleblower...
As an Australian, I am totally devastated that McBride is the only person to be jailed over the war crimes committed by our country and special forces. He is truely an Australian hero and very grateful that you’re raising this story internationally.
It’s so disgusting. Our country is so fked when it comes to criminal justice. Even with sexual violence and domestic abuse. It makes my blood boil knowing that money talks and you can just pay police to help the abusers
So, to summarize, this Australian judge's decision is that not only is the Nuremberg Defense a valid argument; it is the opinion of the Australian government, that if you are given the order to commit a war crime, you must become a war criminal or become an Australian criminal.
In Australia if you commit war crimes you may actually be rewarded with medals, a high paying job, fame, and be hailed as a war hero. I give you Ben Roberts Smith, war criminal and awful person. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Roberts-Smith

The hell do people mean we "refuse" to go see good films? I don't have the time to go see movies, I'm busy working and monetizing my hobbies for the privilege of also not being able to afford to go see films in the cinema.
Im also wondering if part of it is also... action maybe doesnt sell as well as it did anymore? People went to see some of the bigger films in the last year because they were fun and campy or they were large drama stories rather than something that is kinda billed as "just" an action series. Idk how much it is this but i feel like I've seen a bit of a trend of people getting just a bit sick of these massive action franchises as the MCU dies off a bit and things like this happen. Maybe people are just bored of that trend? I dont have time or money to go to the theater, but if i do go it's gonna be something with serious substance, its not something that is just part of the action franchise trend we have been seeing for 15 years.
Wait, you're telling me you're having to monetize what you enjoy doing in your free time because the overall cost of living is so high you can't afford it with just you're 9-5 salary? When I was your age I had to go to my uncle's farm and pick 10 razzberries to trade for my first house. Now THAT'S real work!
It’s awful how corrupt the justice system is in Australia. I feel like I haven’t heard a single good thing about it in many years as honest press has been suppressed by the rich and powerful. One big example is with friendly jordies and him exposing those rich and powerful only for it to mean absolutely nothing but his and his neighbors houses being set aflame.
Well as some who has been FK over by it and the western Australia government. It's not a justice system it's a Law enforcement system. You don't go to court to get justice. You go to get the law up held. Two different things my guy
This. Thank you for covering the story, Phil. The issue isn't over yet though. While the sentence has been delivered, it's expected that McBride and his legal team will appeal it. This needs to continue to be covered abroad so it can continue to highlight just how fucked the situation is.
As an Afghan who grew up in the states, I feel really helpless sometimes about the plight of our people. Thanks Phil + team for shedding a light on the David McBride whistleblower story. It’s heartening to see people care. Another reason why I’ve been subscribed to this channel for years. 🙏🏽
Let's correct the narrative here: people wanting to _go_ to movie theatres isn't dead, people not being able to afford nearly $20 for a ticket + concessions - especially for a large family - is what's dead. People aren't _refusing_ to go to theatres because of the actors, or advertising, they're refusing because they can't fucking afford it. The _only_ reason I still go, is because there's an AMC near me with $8.50 tickets.
for real, I love the idea of going to the movies but I literally only go once every few years when it's a movie I just have to see or it's for a special occasion, like a birthday or Valentines with my partner as a date. The last movie I saw in theaters was Black Panther 2 cause Chadwick had just passed and it was around a birthday so we planned it, saved up, and did that as a treat for us to go see - and we didn't get food while there. I'm just not willing to pay to go to the movies all the time..
most people don't want children. if they did then reproduction wouldn't depend on pleasure itself, the desire for a child would do that. it's more that our species needs to trick us into having children against our will. but we are sentient, we don't have to follow nature prerogative anymore we are free as should be all manner of bc and abortion. we are not endangered.

The bit you left out about mcbride is the bit where he alleges a lot of the war crimes were in part ordered by the US as it was more likely to be covered up if committed by Australians. And a lot of the pressure to have a secret trial and make sure he goes to prison came from Washington.

I don't think that's the real issue here. People are still spending on leisure. I think the fact that we know new movies are going to show up on streaming platforms shortly after their releases is the real culprit here.
@@holocene2164 I disagree--people have both less money and less time to spend on leisure, so they're not only being more selective about how they spend, they're simply having to go with more economic options. Waiting until a movie comes out on streaming means either not having to pay anything beyond the streaming service fee (a leisure expense that was likely to be budgeted for with or without the movie), or else paying for a rental that ends up being the same cost as a single movie ticket and having the freedom and flexibility to pause, rewind, turn on captions, or even watch multiple times
@@holocene2164 I could see that, specially if i have doubts it will be good. That being said my rent went up $600 a year, this year alone. That money gotta come from somewhere.

Theater employee here. Part of the issue with the industry is the push towards all blockbuster all the time. Almost everything is a sequel or an "event." And when you are consistently being bombarded with the "must see" movie of the week, it takes a toll on on both your sanity and your checkbook. I would love to go back to less blockbusters and more smaller movies.
Good point. This is an issue in the video gaming industry, too. The dev team of Hi-Fi Rush got sacked because their game didn't reach quiiiiiite as many sales as the stupid publisher wanted. Bear in mind, it still made goddamn millions. The game is beloved. People want a sequel/prequel to the game. All that doesn't matter, though, because there wasn't 'enough' growth. They want to keep growing. Constantly. At the same or an increased rate. It's unsustainable. Companies can only grow so big- profits, only so big. They don't care. Stability isn't good enough for 'em. Having enough income to produce games at the same rate isn't good enough. It's disgusting, unadulterated greed.
But also... a lot of movies I don't even know are coming out or when .. because they don't effectively campaign. I think a lot of us don't really watch television anymore.. so its useless to put commercials there to pull the large younger crowd
The fact that David McBride was imprisoned is disgraceful. A whistleblower that exposes the military committing war crimes is should be praised, not condemned. A soldier shouldn’t blindly follow orders, that’s been proven time and time again. In Australia we’ve had a highly decorated soldier lose a defamation trial over news articles accusing him of war crimes and two other special forces soldiers openly admit on a podcast to machine gunning an Afghan police officer and lying about what happened to the investigators. But we’ve sent the whistleblower to prison. Disgraceful
It’s pretty normal in America to imprison whistleblowers too. Unless they’re boeing whistleblowers who turn up dead from suicide. Multiple now. But yeah we put Chelsea Manning in jail who did more for the anti war movement than anyone in a long time, tried to jail or execute Snowden for informing people how in depth the American government is spying on its own people, and were trying to imprison an Australian citizen for publishing what Chelsea Manning leaked. When I was young (and I'm younger than Phil), the local movie theater did matinées on Tuesday and Thursday for $2.50 a ticket. Popcorn and soda was cheap, and no one minded if you brought in your own candy. Even regular tickets were only $7 and made a good night out. But today, my local theater doesn't have discounted times, and one adult ticket is $19.75. Concessions are ABSURDLY expensive, and they do everything they can to force you to buy their stuff. The ad phase of the movie experience is now "constantly, until the movie starts." You have to pre-purchase tickets and pick your seats, you can't just decide to go see a movie spur of the moment. And for all that money and bother, theater manners have just gone down. Who wants to pay $50+ to have a screaming toddler coughing on them and throwing popcorn at their date-night R movie? I'm currently at the life-phase of, "Tell me when it's available on on of the streaming services my household pays for. And if it isn't going to be on any of them, I will forget it exists." I don't necessarily like it, but I can't afford to be a movie theater-goer anymore, and couldn't even before Miss 'Rona gave me a good excuse to avoid crowded areas.
The movie theatre industry is shrinking, but it's not dying. You will definitely eventually be seeing larger theatre chains downsizing from having 10+ screens to maybe 4, and theatres will have to adapt, potentially running movies for shorter periods, re-running old favorite movies (we've been seeing this recently and it's proving to be successful, giving people a chance to get the movie theatre experience for films they never had the chance to see this way), improving the in-theatre experience, etc.
It is kind of scummy how war crimes aren’t punished but people that call the governments out, do their research and help nations are punished by the fully extent of the law. ???

As a US citizen this would not surprise me in the least. In fact I found it interesting there was little mention of the US by those involved save from McBride himself.
I think the most underreported thing about movies and why they aren't making money is how expensive it is and only adds up if you get popcorn, snacks, drinks, etc.
I love how none of these hoity-toity people even talk about that. That director who's complaining about agendas and how the original movies didn't have an agenda is so bs.
I feel like that's the major talking point for most people these days. Whenever a movie bombs I always see people saying it's just too expensive for them to go to theaters and if they do go it's usually to cheaper theaters that show older movies.

As an Australian, watching Australian media mangle the McBride story is disgusting Our media is controlled mostly by two individuals, Murdoch and Packer (who is exactly as bad as Rupert). But this was all started by the National broadcaster, and Dan Oakes' representation of McBride was false and started the Murdoch/ Packer lie train. Everyone failed him
The Parkers are pretty much out of the picture these days, focusing more on gambling, but they’re Nine Entertainment is still a concern, particularly since it currently has former Liberal Party (that’s the more right leaning party of the two major political parties here in Australia) treasurer Peter Costello as its chairman. With their buyout Fairfax Media in 2018 has meant they’ve been able to take news outlets, such as The Age, that were seen to be more left leaning and turn them more to the right. Let’s also not leave out Kerry Stokes, head of Seven Media, who has particular sway over news and media in the west of the country. Basically our news media is a right wing led hell scape, controlled mostly by rich oligarchs, that is influencing mainly the older population here in Australia that have grown up trusting the major news outlets.
Yeah don't forget Kerry Stokes. Seven was financially backing Robert-Smith's ill fated defamation suit (against war crime allegations McBride exposed) until their shareholders found out about it. Stokes is also on the board of the National War Memorial. Robert-Smith was supposed to donate his medals to the memorial if he lost his case, not sure anyone but Kerry wants them now.
Parents trying to make their kids internet famous are so disgusting. To take away the choice of having their childhood broadcast to the world is so so so so messed up. It’s like nobody learned anything from Hollywood’s exploitation of child stars.
Seriously. I just watched Factinate's video about Baby Peggy, one of the first child stars. While she did recover later in life, her parents and grandparent stole all the money she made, didn't let her properly go to school, and basically used her like a cash cow. Because she was cute. Years ago, I had the opportunity to interview a Kashmiri national and former lawyer for the JKLF, a pro-independence movement in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. After an attack on his home, this lawyer had sent his wife and two children to a village, in the hope of sheltering them. But one day, the Indian army, suspecting that the village was home to two members of the armed wing of the movement, issued an ultimatum to the population: either the villagers handed over the men, or the army would destroy the village. When the village refused to hand over the two insurgents, it was dynamited along with its inhabitants. This is how the lawyer's wife and children died. Mad with grief, this man, who had never fired a shot in his life, wanted to take up arms. He was dissuaded by the movement's authorities and went into exile in Europe. Every Israeli attack on civilians produces desperate people eager to join the fight. This is why Israel has little chance of winning its war. Revenge is a horrible ouroboros.
This is one of the reasons why so many Hindu-nationalist support Israel. They know that they’re doing the same thing to Kashmiris so if Palestine is free, they’d be next.
The whistleblower story in Australia hits hard and shows a larger picture of how we, the people of the nations, have abandoned people who are willing to make this sacrifice. *Why I'll always bring my own snacks in my bag. Best part, workers don't care cuz they don't get paid enough to care. I literally filled a water bottle I had with soda once in front of a security and they literally said nothing. Theaters need to lower their prices if they want more people to go*

Obviously, movie theaters will discourage you from bringing in your own food and snacks, but they're not going to pat you down so use your pockets as they were intended.
As an Aussie thankyou for talking about the McBride situation. I think its also important to remember that Australia follows the US, so much of what is happening/has happened in our military with these war crimes is the same if not on a much bigger level with the US military. Same with other western militaries around the world such as the UK, we are all involved in this and together we need to do better to actually have some form of justice and peace.
David McBride exemplifies our Australian tradition of standing up to authority, and the justice system utterly failing us as a country in convicting him for doing what was right just proves WHY that tradition is ingrained in us.
Honestly, movie theaters just aren’t reasonable in my budget. I have two kids under 5, we don’t really have extra money to spend for a trip to the movies like I did growing up. It also just isn’t realistic to expect two toddlers to sit still or pay more to have someone babysit them. My husband’s waiting for mad max to stream/rent so he can pause it & come back if needed. Knowing that it could always become available pretty soon online, what’s the point?
OMG I love that you talked about David McBride. I've been following his story for a couple years, and holy shit the lengths the Australian government (or perhaps more specifically, the American government through the Australian government) will go to to shut this guy up is insane.
The scariest part of the "kid-fluencers" is that what's stopping them from being another Christina Grimmie situation, some random 6 year old on tiktok now could have their life ruined or killed in 20 years because their parents just had to chuck them in a bikini when they're fresh outta kindergarten.
If Israel’s not careful, the US might change from “concerned” to “perturbed.” And that’s only a step away from “bothered” followed, of course, by “disapproving,” and if there are like 2 or 3 more mistakes after that, we miiiight actually consider doing something about the Gaza/Rafah situation.⚠️
@@VSPoliFight yea 2 mil people attack israel. By that logic every us person is guilty for vietnam and iraq. There are 30k members of hamas and israel attacks millions.
when whistleblowers warning about war criminals go to jail, and war criminals walk free, there is absolutely no justice in this world. Heads need to roll here (in Minecraft)
In America, A soldiers duty is to refuse unlawful orders and report such events. I mean, We would still be charged with crimes for whistle blowing because that is how messed up our legal system is. Meanwhile certain folks can keep classified docs in their bathroom.
I saw Furiosa on Friday night with some friends and we were almost the only one there. I thought we were in the wrong theater at first because it was so empty. There were also a half hour worth of previews before the movie started, and some of my friends commented that next time they'd just watch at home to skip the long previews for stuff they don't even care about.
To be honest, I prioritize free national park hikes over movies for the weekend. Even cheaper when taking the kids. The 2nd week will be more telling if it truly is a flop.
For the first story, I agree that's such weird behavior. Any parent who uses their kids to make money, especially exposing them to predators, are bad parents.. Why would you expose your child like that? My husband and I have 3 boys, we rarely post pictures of them and while they do have access to the internet, we don't allow them on social media.
If a child can choose which 1 of the billions of genders they want to be that day and get life altering permanent drugs, then I see no issue with them having the ability to consent to being online.

The most they may be eligible for is puberty blockers which are completely reversible.
Movie theaters love to complain about streaming services hurting their sales, love to rant about how wonderful the "Theater Experience" is, but then do stuff like: pay employees minimum wage leading them to not care about their jobs and be rude/miserable, don't fix or clean their theaters enough, charge absurd amounts for snacks, and plenty of other corner-cutting policies that lead to a frustrating and bad theater experiences. If they keep cutting corners and making the theater experience more miserable, people are going to stop going.
Exactly, and when I worked at a theatre we got absolutely no breaks. We were told our “break time was between the movie showing times”, even though we constantly had other work to do and would be scolded for sitting down. That along with lack of care surrounding worker health, I had two major injuries and one health condition flare up during a little under a year and a half - I just said no. Why should I work somewhere where the customers threaten me and the managers just sit on their phones?? Fuck CEC Theatres, and every other theatre company who outwardly say that you’ll never get a raise so you should be grateful that they elected to raise it by a dollar a few years ago.
Not to mention, it's $40 for 1 person to go walk through a sticky floor and sit in a meh seat. My couch is very comfy, it's free and it includes a dog. Movie theaters are charging way too much for what they offer.
Twice last night within about 15 minutes my answer to "Whats the absolute worst thing you've ever seen?" changed. Both of those new answers were images from the aftermath of the bombing in Rafa. I didn't even realize one of the images was showing a child until seeing some of the comments responding to the image.
As an Australian thank you for covering the David McBride story. We have a habit of thinking of America's military as somehow more corrupt, authoritarian and world-policey than our own, when in reality McBride exposed our leaders as being just as horrible, and was sentenced more harshly for his 'crime' than rapists sentenced by the same judge.
"I was just following orders" is not a defence to war crimes. So I have no idea how Australia has ruled "Your job is to follow orders and cover up those war crimes" is realistic.
I'm surprised Phil didn't mention the images of people in Rafah pulling the charred remains of their dead relatives from the tents where they burned alive, and the image of the decapitated child. I obviously get he couldn't have shown the videos, but they're impactful and relevant and I feel he should have mentioned them
Had to scroll a looong time to see a comment mentioning it. I've begun to become really skeptical of Phil's coverage of Palestine and was kind of thinking he just wasn't going to cover it at all today, I was surprised to see it in the timestamps. You do not have to look far to see actual footage of everything you just described online right now and I find it hard to believe he just didn't see it, especially since he uses Twitter. It sucks because I've considered him a very trustworthy source for years but this issue specifically keeps proving me a little bit more wrong each time.
What’s crazy is that he literally had a Palestinian at one point rapping about news stories. “Once upon a time, all of us was in chains Homie still doubled down callin' us some slaves Palestine was the mecca, buildin' railroads and trains Bear with me for a second, let me put y'all on game The settlers was using town folk to make them richer Fast-forward, 2024, Phil’s got the same agenda”
Seriously, though, how many times does Israel get to say, "Oopsie poopsie, accidentally blew up civilians again! Thought they were terrorists! Our bad!" 🤷
As a parent the movie theater experience is golden to share with my young children, but that also limits the range of films I can justify the expense to see, that is if I can afford to even go to the theater.
About the movie theater thing, idk if its just in my area or if it's widespread, but movie theater etiquette is non-existent right now. Many people apparently forgot that you're not supposed to talk or be on your phone in the movie theater. It makes the already expensive experience less worth it imo.
It's not just your neck of the woods. If i really want to see a movie, i have to see it during non-peak hours. Because other wise, I end up having to deal with douchebags and kids that don't understand that unless a showing is designated as rowdy, then movie etiquette dictates for folks to "SHUT, THE FUCK, UP!"
A lot of people say this but I go to the movies at least twice a week and have had maybe one slightly annoying experience from other people in the past year. It's really not that bad. How often do you go to the movies and are do you only go to the massive, crowded blockbusters on opening weekend or the week after?
@@LoganT101 The only issue I find in this is no one think its valid even though Hamas launch rockets at Israel simply because Israel has a missile defense system. This whole situation is fucked, but to claim there is zero reason is overly idealistic.

The movie issues is at least 75% the cost of tickets and snacks. I absolutely love going to theaters to see movies, but my roommate and I just cant justify it with all of our bills.
Really love the John Musker quote. I firmly believe that the world is healing, in that conversations on social equity are starting to turn from “is there On Paper representation?” into “is there genuine emotion behind this?”, and his quote sums that shift up *perfectly*
Thankyou for covering the awful David Mcbride situation. I cannot believe that whole story is fact, not some fiction novel, it is so incredible what the Australian government are getting away with.
the gaza story infuriates me. The US tells one of our allies Ukraine, who is following international law. You can only attack here here in here, or we’re going to pull our support and weapons. Israel breaks international law the worst of them all the very one created due to the horrors that lead to modern Israel being established, and we wag our fingers telling them don’t do that they keep doing it and we never pull support. If Ukraine was doing half of what Israel was doing we give up on them and they would fall within a week. This is infuriating. Just completely infuriating.
Thank you for reporting on our modern Hero David McBride. Our national news is in cahoots with the army and has tried to bury this story. The world needs to know that David represents the best of us.
The corruption within the Australian military is absolutely not surprising that place is awful and breeds the worst kind of corruption and violence. ADFA is known for SA and abuse so doesn’t surprise me whatsoever
As someone who has watched Fury Road 4 times, I was absolutely excited to watch Furiosa in IMAX over the weekend and it was incredible. Imagine my surprise when I pull up to the mall only to find the parking lot half empty and the theatre maybe a 1/3 full on a Sunday evening. I hope this doesn’t make studios lean even more towards making easy cash grabs and remakes nobody asked for.
Yet Phil keeps spouting away with these Zionist talking points as if they have any basis in reality. Once upon a time, Phil would call out bs for what it actually is. I guess you can only stay in this business long enough to see yourself become the villain. This man needs to grow a pair and stop trying to both sides a blatant genocide. Instead of blocking people on Twitter for calling him out, he needs to have a good hard look in the mirror and ask himself why he’s continuing to regurgitate the words of lying war criminals as “facts”.
That's generalizing and reductive! Here's a perfectly valid sentence they both go in: *"Israel's* attacks on innocent Palestinians are causing a global *humanitarian* crisis."
Can we take a minute to appreciate Shillip (hey Phil you called yourself that so don’t blame me for picking on you with love) for filming on a holiday but because it falls on a Monday he still takes time from his family and daily life to give us weirdos our daily dose of being called beautiful bastards? The ability to classify documents is an important tool for militaries and governments, but using it to hide war crimes should be considered an abuse of that tool, and it should not be a crime to leak them in that case. Also, David Mossop is an Australian Jared Fogle.

Idk how much it is this but i feel like I've seen a bit of a trend of people getting just a bit sick of these massive action franchises as the MCU dies off a bit and things like this happen. Maybe people are just bored of that trend?

Let's correct the narrative here: people wanting to _go_ to movie theatres isn't dead, people not being able to afford nearly $20 for a ticket + concessions - especially for a large family - is what's dead. People aren't _refusing_ to go to theatres because of the actors, or advertising, they're refusing because they can't fucking afford it. The _only_ reason I still go, is because there's an AMC near me with $8.50 tickets.

During an economic crash while people are struggling to pay rent and feed themselves "why aren't people going out to the movies?" I wonder why?

It's because the government never takes blame for anything for every government across the world. They will always protect themselves

As a US citizen this would not surprise me in the least. In fact I found it interesting there was little mention of the US by those involved save from McBride himself.
I think the most underreported thing about movies and why they aren't making money is how expensive it is and only adds up if you get popcorn, snacks, drinks, etc.

As an Australian, watching Australian media mangle the McBride story is disgusting
Our media is controlled mostly by two individuals, Murdoch and Packer (who is exactly as bad as Rupert).

Same with other western militaries around the world such as the UK, we are all involved in this and together we need to do better to actually have some form of justice and peace.
The footage from Rafah of the attack is horrifying
David McBride exemplifies our Australian tradition of standing up to authority, and the justice system utterly failing us as a country in convicting him for doing what was right just proves WHY that tradition is ingrained in us.
Honestly, movie theaters just aren’t reasonable in my budget. I have two kids under 5, we don’t really have extra money to spend for a trip to the movies like I did growing up. Been following it for a couple of years now, every single person involved in this prosecution should be ashamed of themselves, most specifically the ABC reporter, who helped him break the story only to throw him under the bus, days before his trial. Hope David gets the justice he deserves.
A little piece of me died when I heard "Lawrence of Arabia on a phone." 💀
"you're going to watch a film on your fuckin phone? Get real"
@@Eulogy10"I am so depressed I don't know what I'm doing."
Watching movies on your phone is excellent.
Remember, it allows you to bring it with you anywhere, and you can connect the phone to most TV's these days.
As an Australian, I would like to thank Phil and his team for how well they covered the McBride story.
The movie issues is at least 75% the cost of tickets and snacks. I absolutely love going to theaters to see movies, but my roommate and I just cant justify it with all of our bills.
Ever heard of discount Tuesdays or early morning pricing?
Really love the John Musker quote.
I firmly believe that the world is healing, in that conversations on social equity are starting to turn from “is there On Paper representation?” into “is there genuine emotion behind this?”, and his quote sums that shift up *perfectly*
Watching end game in a full theater opening night might be the last time I felt truly alive 😂
Thank you for covering the War Crimes story! It really needs more eyes on it!
I think the failing for Furiosa was marketing. I didn't even know it was coming out until it was out in theatres.
I feel like comparing the whistle blower to his father is unfair.
Justice for all whistleblowers
Thank you for reporting on our modern Hero David McBride. Our national news is in cahoots with the army and has tried to bury this story. The world needs to know that David represents the best of us.
yeah the Australian media establishment has been nothing more than a mouthpiece for politicians for the last few decades
I've seen plenty of coverage
The corruption within the Australian military is absolutely not surprising that place is awful and breeds the worst kind of corruption and violence. ADFA is known for SA and abuse so doesn’t surprise me whatsoever
Thank you DeFrancast and crew
As someone who has watched Fury Road 4 times, I was absolutely excited to watch Furiosa in IMAX over the weekend and it was incredible. Imagine my surprise when I pull up to the mall only to find the parking lot half empty and the theatre maybe a 1/3 full on a Sunday evening. I hope this doesn’t make studios lean even more towards making easy cash grabs and remakes nobody asked for.
The word “Humanitarian” and “Israel” don’t go in the same sentence.
@@KomoliRihyoh I agree, but when people use that idiom, it’s almost always general about the relevant context of what’s happening.
The example given is relevant context to what’s happening 😂
@@Icarus07c I agree, a terrorist group like Israel has been murdering innocents for decades.
Can we take a minute to appreciate Shillip (hey Phil you called yourself that so don’t blame me for picking on you with love) for filming on a holiday but because it falls on a Monday he still takes time from his family and daily life to give us weirdos our daily dose of being called beautiful bastards? Thanks Phil, for real I think that’s cool of you to sacrifice your time for your fans man. Cheers.
Thankyou for covering the McBride / potential Australian war crime situation. We don't have freedom of speech in Australia, so it's good to hear someone overseas use theirs, the way it was intended, so effectively, to share this information.
The ability to classify documents is an important tool for militaries and governments, but using it to hide war crimes should be considered an abuse of that tool, and it should not be a crime to leak them in that case. Also, David Mossop is an Australian Jared Fogle.
