Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the livestream. I have a blast hosting them! My Jan 28th is going to be another fun horror show with another phenomenal panel as well.
Man, this episode was jam packed full of badass recommendations! I actually watched Mr. Crocket last night on Ken’s recommendation, and I thought it was so much fun and very creative. The poster doesn’t do that movie justice! Great job hosting once again, Frank! You’re killin’ it, home slice! 😎🤘
Just finished the replay. Frank, you are a really good host. It's a skill and you definitely have it. I like there you champion Oddity too. I love that movie!😊
1:07:40 Margaret Qualley should have also been nominated. There is a series from a couple years ago called "Maid"... fan of hers since then. Hope the best for her.
Love alien Romulus. Love the director. Love his evil dead. Only complaint of Romulus is the heavy handed " get away from her u bit#%" otherwise phenomenal film, amazing.
1:40:41 I really love "Abigail", eventhough it is quite derivative from a S. King short "Popsy". Even if some say it was spoiled since the trailer (inevitable, no other way to promote it), it was quite fun. In my top 5 for sure.
So great to see Cody and Kylie (here cause she posted something promoting it) together, big fan of theirs. Great video guys, I'll sub and bell ya also. Kainan Beker , from Ghost Pirate Entertainment is also great. Hope you guys do something like this together soon. Greetings from México.
Appreciate the sub! In addition to livestreams, I like to mix physical media and horror content videos, and interview content creators. My last interview was Planet CHH. I've done almost 10 of them.
1:42:40 Late Night With the Devil... Not a fan of found footage subgenre, yet this one is just great. David carries the movie so well. The premise, the ambience, yet it didn't stick the landing so well, too open for me. Great nonetheless. Also in my top 5, for its smart writing, revealing the gist of a whole backstory in a single scene as Davey said.
My top 3 horror of 2024 1. Alien Romulus 2. Late night with the devil 3. Speak no Evil Most anticipated of 2025 is Thanksgiving 2! Great stream everyone!
Yah, the acting in Oddity was great. Quite different performances from the same actress. Subtle and nuanced at times, contrasting at others. Underrated for sure.
@Franksmediaandreviews just saw it & had to throw that out there even though it didn't fit the shows timeline. I like alot of stuff but horror wise I think the French & Argentinian got it goin on. Like high tension, Martyrs, p2, when evil lurks. They don't pull punches. Great departure from scream type stuff. Cotton candy bs. But kudos to the scream & others like that . They know what gets the bag.$.
Now that I think about it if my top five would be: 1: Nosferatu, The Substance, Strange Darling, Late Night With the Devil, Abigail. I still have to watch MADS though.
When Evil Lurks is quite great. Was expecting very little from it, since is Latin American horror ( I am Mexican, not a fan of Latin American horror at all) but this flick made me a believer. "La mesita del comedor" (The Coffe Table) had some pull, yet not a big fan of it since it is a short stretched into a full length move... lacking a lot of meat IMO.
For me as a parent of three young girls, I didn't know how to feel when watching The Coffee Table, but I couldn't help myself but to laugh and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I really enjoyed it.
@@Franksmediaandreviews Yah, I guess most parents feel that way. That is the hook of the script. I only have one daughter... but it didn't hit me. Such a tragic/stupid sequence of events... as you said, macabre and funny at the same time. Though better done in the short IMO... for it leaves to the imagination a lot..
@ I'll definitely have to check out the short! Vinegar Syndrome just released their bluray, but Second Sight announced they're doing a release as well, and I'm for sure going to pick their version up.
1:45:25 Horror doesn't has to be scarry all the time. Totally agree with Davey. Horror doesn't has to be bloody all the time. Sci-Fi horror and Phycological horror are great. Sometimes without a single drop of blood... but one is a fan of gore of course. None of my top 5 horror flicks are scary, they are just fun, or pretty, or admirable, or all the above. Y2K is not horror for me for example. Somewhat subjective I guess of course. Nosferatu is not scary, nor is Terrifier. Scared by a movie... besides the well crafted scare-jump is not something that happens to horror fans, for we dwell in the shadows.
I like "Prometheus" much more than the first time I watched it. Really liked the "Engineers" mythos, but not a fan of the design of the "proto alien". Won't talk about the plot holes of course...
The Substance is so great, so greatly shot. Quite a juxtaposition of beauty and gore. Awesome performances all around, yet the ending was a bit over the top for me. Otherwise excellent.
Heretic was quite surprising to me. Was expecting some religious mumbo jumbo as always, yet I got something that I really agree with. Since I am not religious, somewhat spiritual though, I already knew most of the arguments of Hugh's character... agreeing all the time. Really liked the ending. Quite wholesome, it could have been so dark. And no, the movie doesn't trash LDS church... it trashes all churches/religions proposing some kind of paganism as the true one. Kinda an oxymoron...
Dont get the love for terrifier & black phone at all. These are awful. Especially Thanksgiving aswell. Eli Roths knock knock was good. Hated Thanksgiving, couldnt finish it. Want more where evil lurks , x, Mandy. The crazies.
Not a fan of Smile 2, I prefer the first one. For sure Naomi carried that flick by herself. Great performance, better shot than the first one, but the ending was too much IMO.
Mr. Crocket? New for me... will look it up. Yet, I think "IT" is overrated. Even though I am a big fan of King, (Shawshank Redemption is one if not my favorite movie/story/novel) I have never understood the quite spread fear of clowns. Not a fan of Jordan Peele also... I always find his flicks too political in some way.
I still think Season 5 of Supernatural is one of my favorite seasons of any TV show, and the series should've ended right there. It was a perfect ending.
Long Legs, not a big fan of it, of course it is good, yet kinda tired of Cage's over the top performances, and too derivative from others, like "Silence of the Lambs". The ending was awful, "the devil made me do it"... wow, so original.
Trap? Come on... It was only a pretext for Night Shyamalan to show her daughter can sing. Period. Uff... a tough watch for me. And also... not horror IMO. A thriller...
When anyone talks about romulus I just hear, "dah dah dah blah blah blah." Trash movie and its objective. Clearly trash by all metrics people have ever known for film
Absolutely amazing show, what a great panel! Great job hosting, Frank!
Thanks, buddy! It was a fun time, and I look forward to having you on soon!
New sub! Long live cinema!
Thank you! Hope you'll like the content.
Thanks for this guys. Made the morning in work a breeze. All great guests absolutely loved it 👍

Thank you for your kind words, my friend. I love the collabs, definitely was inspired by Ken from Midlevel Media with his roundtable videos.
1:07:40 Margaret Qualley should have also been nominated. There is a series from a couple years ago called "Maid"... fan of hers since then. Hope the best for her.
She's was phenomenal as well.
34:29 Yah, some dialogs are almost poetic. Great flow and rhythm.
Great stream, everyone! My favorites of 2024 were The Substance, Terrifier 3, and Strange Darling. ❤
Thanks for watching, Aly! Great picks too.
Caught the rest this morning. Fun live show and lots of good horror movies to look forward to this year!
Thanks for watching and joining the chat, Brian! I appreciate it.
@ of course man! Love your weekly live show!
Love alien Romulus. Love the director. Love his evil dead. Only complaint of Romulus is the heavy handed " get away from her u bit#%" otherwise phenomenal film, amazing.

Abigail is definitely one of the funnest films of 2024.
Great stream as always guys 😊💜👍🐾
As always, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
1:40:14 Hehehe, yah, Ken is quite a character for sure. Interesting though.
Ken is 1 of 1. 🤣.

Hell yeah!
1:50:19 For sure CGI is best when you just don't notice it at all. Of course that some is obvious for it would be impossible to do otherwise though.
💯
My top 3 horror of 2024
1. Alien Romulus
2. Late night with the devil
3. Speak no Evil
Most anticipated of 2025 is Thanksgiving 2!
Great stream everyone!
Great list! Can't wait to see Thanksgiving 2!
Has anyone seen Baskin? If so , thoughts? Its hilarious & crazy . Pretty good for turkey film.
That's on my list to see.
11:56 where can i watch the film?
11:50 **
Unfortunately, it's not out yet. Hopefully soon.
Yah, the acting in Oddity was great. Quite different performances from the same actress. Subtle and nuanced at times, contrasting at others. Underrated for sure.
Hell yeah!
Watching the replay now, was on and off earlier.
Thanks for watching and hope you'll like the livestream. I had a great time.
Titane is a masterpiece.
Not gonna lie, I had to watch that movie a couple times to enjoy it. I love me some weird movies, and this is high up there for me.

I can smell the pretenousness from this group call
Hehhee, No. 1, The Coffee, table... I was just undermining it. :P
🤣
Now that I think about it if my top five would be: 1: Nosferatu, The Substance, Strange Darling, Late Night With the Devil, Abigail. I still have to watch MADS though.
Mads is sooo good! I think you would like it.
Awesome stream cody is great and haunted hippie is super se... i mean shes great too, lol but yeh this was cool
Thanks for watching! Definitely check out her 2nd channel, especially if you're into physical media.
@Franksmediaandreviews I definitely will man
42:09 Big fan of "Lisa Frankenstein", so sad it bombed, yet most cult movies do.
It's a beautiful film too. The colors, production and costume designs was fantastic.
TOP 5 HORROR MOVIES OF 2024:
1. Nosferatu
2. Abigail
3. Late Night With The Devil
4. Oddity
5. Heretic
MOST ANTICIPATED HORROR FILM OF 2025: Sinners
Nice list! Heretic surprised me how good it was! Can't wait to physical own it soon!

Caveat vs Oddity... nice question. I dunno... depending on my mood. I'll go with Oddity, it is better acted and shot IMO.
Both are damn good films. I need to own Caveat.

Plot holes be damned, I love Prometheus!
I liked "Stop Motion", love the animated scenes, yet the ending was quite predictable. For me, the ending weights a lot.
I really likes the imagery of Stop Motion.
The Substance is so great, so greatly shot. Quite a juxtaposition of beauty and gore. Awesome performances all around, yet the ending was a bit over the top for me. Otherwise excellent.
Thanks for all the comments! What was your favorite horror film of 2024?
@@Franksmediaandreviews I dunno, between The Substance and Nosferatu.
@ I have to rewatch Nosferatu again.
@@Franksmediaandreviews I also have to watch it again, I have only seen it once.

Practically agree with you 100%. Absolutely loved the film and that surprised me.
Dang...I missed the show! I'll catch the replay.
Stupid trolls...nothing I hate worse than trolls.
Hope you'll like the livestream, Jami. It was a fun show!

Is Ken trying to be contrarian on purpose or he just has a weird taste?
🤣
Crap, I missed it
It's all good!
Did ken put trap on his list and mr Crockett but didnt like strange darling or the subatance .... smh
I still love him, but damn! 🤣🤣🤣 Everyone's reaction was priceless.
@Franksmediaandreviews that's why I love movies. Different opinions
@@Aus10-1 100%!
Not a fan of Smile 2, I prefer the first one. For sure Naomi carried that flick by herself. Great performance, better shot than the first one, but the ending was too much IMO.
I prefer the first Smile as well.

37:59 DEUS IRAE, butchered it. Latin, means "God of Wrath".
I definitely need to see this movie.
Oddity was good, yet there is an episode of "Supernatural" and some other series dealing with the mythos of golems. So.. a bit predictable for me.
I still think Season 5 of Supernatural is one of my favorite seasons of any TV show, and the series should've ended right there. It was a perfect ending.

For me, Cage's performance is worth the watch alone.
Infested was ok... nice gore, but not really scary. Not much story into it.
I didn't care too much about Infested, I just thought it was ok.
Fan of Haunted Hippie, but Y2K is horrible, so derivative, I've seen that flick a hundred times... sorry Kylie.
I still need to see Y2K.
