Yep had to go off on a coworker today. They’ve taunted me long enough and thought I wasn’t going to ever stand up for myself. HR was shocked and knew it had to be a serious matter cause I’m pretty involved at work and most of the time always bubbly.
You don’t have to be dark, scary and hateful in order to earn respect and not get stepped on, you won’t gain respect by being those things .. you’re personality will become your personal reality you just need to gain inner confidence and develop a self image
Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it.

But I recommend broadening your definitions of Nice: you seem to think it only means weak and/or self-serving. What about the niceness that springs from good will towards the world? That lifts the bad mood in oneself and in the room, and therefore everything out from there? The intention of Nice is to be kind; and to avoid conflict. The avoidance of conflict isn't necessarily cowardice, but the desire for peace, and the reasonable avoidance of bodily harm. I do agree that where it does segue into cowardice, it needs to be re-examined, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

I’ve been nice to people bc I thought we were supposed to try to love like God loves us. I didn’t have any fake intentions. No it didn’t get me anywhere but I didn’t rly expect it to. I have trouble finding the balance of being a light in the world and also putting up a facade that presents me as this strong, vicious , calculated person. Lol . I have had my real true heart not just broken but ripped out . To where it literally felt like I had no more heart to give . But even in that state, I did not wish revenge on the one who hurt me. I don’t know if I can take credit for that, maybe it’s bc God is In my heart. But I do feel like as stupid as that may sound to the world, it takes a lot of strength to give your heart, lose it, regrow it, and still be willing to be loving afterwards. I know my shadow side. Is it ok to abuse a guy of he has pushed you way too much manipulated you played games in the name of love also been nice at the sane time and convinient This has happened with me twice ive always been kind and loving and patient with boundaries but the ultimate when ive been pushed ive abused them and then both have stuck to the fact that i abused them and not the reason for my anger. And stuck to it and left me.
At first, they thought you were easy to control because you set boundaries with a soft tone, where you probably said it by being kind and loving the traits that you inhabit and not in an assertive and firm tone. They tried breaking you ,whereby they pushed you way too much to see if you truly stood by the boundaries you set, but they realised they were wrong by underestimating you from the way you reacted. They eventually walked away cause they knew they no longer have power over you.
Feminine energy. I was referring to the workplace and places where they have to look through your physique and judge you based on the work that you do. Feminine energy will distract them from the actual essence of you. Men don't react to femininity with respect unfortunately, especially in the workplace. So you have to almost eliminate your feminine energy in those types of environment. And leave that in your personal life
Definitely. I worked in several dealerships. They were all pompous pigs. Careful with your money they are after it and joke about you once you leave. They call the easy deals “lay downs“ just to give you an idea.
This is true. I worked alongside a woman who was a total woman but in her personal life. In her public persona - not feminine. Dressed smartly but trousers and tops/ shirts. Not in a feminine way. So you couldn’t push boundaries with her. I saw this and thought i’lll try this. To dress less femininely but in a way that it’s just neutral. It definitely shifted the energy. I also stopped being too nice. Boundaried. It has helped me a lot. Good advice.
