- This cinematic Paris travel video was shot on the iPhone 11 in 4K entirely which includes the video and the voiceover. I visited Paris for the second time and filmed my experience being in this historic city. Paris is truly one of the most amazing and beautiful cities in the world. I'll definitely be back to soak in the Parisian way of life again!

This film was made using an iPhone 11 with Filmic Pro and the DJI Osmo Mobile 3. No external lenses were used.

Please post some tips regarding exposure and focus too in future...when we have to follow the subject and lock exposure too outdoors.... subject is always blurred when I go near it following or in movement shots because it’s already locked with exposure...so in that case how to rectify that process in native app

Volumevfx Naresh yup all completely on an iPhone 11! I’d say shoot 60 when in doubt and shoot 24 when you need things to be in real-time (like a vlog where there’s speaking)

Thanks for the comment Utung! I did not use any Nd filters but I did use the filmic pro app to help me get a shutter speed double my frame rate. My frame rate on this video is 23.976.

Hey Amir, I use a mix of 4k 24 and 60 depending on the shot I need. For most of my shots on a gimbal, I use 24 whereas for my handheld stuff I use 60 to smoothen those micro jitters out. I slow them all down to 24fps in post.

brinkz thank you! For the camera aspect I used the filmic pro app to help me rack focus. This means that switched focus mid shot from the telescope to the building infront. As for the other technique, I used speed ramping to achieve that seamless look. For that technique, search up Peter McKinnon on that. He has extremely easy to understand videos and he’s where I learn most of my editing from!

It was a mix of both. But mostly 24fps
Bro is it worth to get Nd and cpl filters for iphone 11?
Shivam Sachdeva personally I don’t use them so I can’t give much recommendation. This video wasn’t shot with an ND filter and the motion blur still looks pretty natural to me. I think the point of mobile cinematography is to keep a Low Budget but if you have some spare cash then why not!
