That face is what I call the "Vintage Barbie" face. The Original Barbie face. I have several Silkstone Barbies and I absolutely adore them. I have thoroughly enjoyed your Vlogmas videos Claire. The Advent calendars, your knitting projects. sewing and dolls and especially your wooden men and those precious sweaters you made. I can honestly say I don't want it to end. Hi Claire 👋 eek nearly Christmas day! And time has flown by so quickly. At last, 12 day Barbie got a dress!! About time 😅 i think the other Barbie calendar had much better gifts on the whole 🤭
Oh i laughed when you said 'done up like a dog's dinner' 🤣 thats got to be one of the best sayings, one of my favourites. The other favourite saying isnt suitable for typing out here!! Right then, day 24 im ready for ya 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I lost all of my daughter’s barbies in a move. She is 25 and upset because she loved her Barbies. I have started to collect a few dolls for her. She is away in College getting an advanced degree. If i plan to save several Barbies for her over the next few years. Is it bad to leave them boxed? Will leaving them in the wrapped packages ruin them?

So sorry to hear that. I haven’t got my childhood Barbies either. It’s ok to leave them boxed. I do with some of mine.
