i was so happy you said niigata because thats where i spent most of my study abroad in japan and although it wasnt long i had an amazing time with my host mother there i cant wait to go back
I'm a Japanese guy. Overtourism has a strong impact on my lifestyle in Japan. As you already know, a mountain of foreigners are flooding into Japan. Here is the thing. I feel like I don't wanna eat pasta at restaurants anymore even though pasta is my go-to. Normally I eat pasta with chopsticks while slurping(It's not weird for Japanese to eat noodles in that way). But whenever I eat it in that way, I find foreigners staring at me with weird eyes. I know the fact eating noodles with chopsticks is not common and slurping is a super rude act abroad. But as long as I am in Japan, I want to grab pasta in my own way comfortably.
Then that's their problem. They need to learn that in they're in a different country, therefore people do things differently. You shouldn't feel ashamed for eating pasta in a way that is considered common there. And even if it's not, they should mind their own business.
omg I wish we met sooner when I was living in Japan cause I literally had no friends except a few from online, lol. Also congrats on becoming a full time content creator!!! :)
wow, you are so beautiful i cant even put it in to the words :D to the topic i am just on the start of my learning journey but hopefully next year i would know enough to go to Japan for 3rd time and finally make some local friends i have so many things i want to learn from Japanese people and talk about but the language is crazy hard :D
Your videos were super helpful for my first trip out there a couple weeks back! Loved it so much definitely will be going back, I posted some content from it too! Definitely interested to hear more about the startup culture, currently pursuing one in America but to do it in Japan seems like such a vibe, can't wait to watch your channel grow even more!
Your Japanese sounds super natural!!!! But why were you rejected at restaurants? 😢 I'm sad to know there are such restaurants in Japan. 😢 I used to work in a restaurant in Japan and we never rejected non-Japanese customers. (I'm Japanese.)
Delightful video, thank you! Like you, learning (devouring) Japanese is a respite for me in life’s stormy seas. It calms me and focuses me and I enjoy it so much. Due to your suggestion I’m using “Human Japanese” and find it super helpful. A favour, when you mention places in Japan could you have the written word show up on the screen so I can write it down and look online for where it is etc. Which was the ocean onsen place you like? Great content, keep up the good work. And again thank you.
Japan is Dream Contry For me I'm in 12th & I have passed NAT-Q3 (98/180) [ JLPT N4- 142/180 ] RUclipsrs like you are helping Us a Lott🌹 Thanks For Always Guiding us to achieve our dreams❤
I've been doing the experiment of learning japanese with only Chat gpt for about 6 months and it really works, it's like having a teacher who you can ask anything.
Hi ananya im going to be moving to japan under a holiday work visa, my relative has a place in tokyo already, is there a usual order in which you should get a bank account, phone number, national health insurance etc? Thx for your advice in advanced!
The order is up to you! I think health insurance and bank account especially depend on your company. (Although #1 is insurance perhaps! It’s required by the government for everyone)
I'm curious what you think of Google gemini live voice chat.... You can have conversations in Japanese with it.... Then again you're in Japan so no need to use an AI lmao
Great video!😊🌟 However, in the midst of such a great conversation, the topic suddenly shifted to HENTAI, and I couldn't help but stumble.😣oh… Oneself am not guilty of these incidents, but I felt the need to apologize on behalf of Japan.🙏 And that's something that needs to change.
you really are an Indian or say south Indian, right? May be from Telangana. I mean your parents or grandparents shifted to California from India. And your name is truly Indian too. Tell me if I am wrong. Subscribing you to get reply! And ignore grammar mistake in the speech! (For viewers) Like the comment if you think the same!

People need to mind their own business! You shouldn't be ashamed to eat pasta with chopsticks in your own country. Keep doing what you do!
Don’t worry about foreigners mate, you eat pasta the way you like 🤙🤙😉
that's not a problem of overtourism but your own confidence.
Ananya: grab some tea, snacks and drinks 😊
