About Me :)
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and started learning Japanese at the age of 13. I have been teaching myself for 7+ years. I speak English, Japanese, and Telugu. I graduated from UC Berkeley Haas with a degree in business administration in hopes of connecting Japan and the U.S. through business. I was working at Amazon in California before moving to Tokyo as a marketing lead at Woodstock.club, and recently shifted to being a full-time content creator! I also love dogs and running hehe

I love Alice in the Country of Hearts!!
wow, you are so beautiful i cant even put it in to the words :D to the topic i am just on the start of my learning journey but hopefully next year i would know enough to go to Japan for 3rd time and finally make some local friends i have so many things i want to learn from Japanese people and talk about but the language is crazy hard :D
Where to buy flash card!?
Real problem now 😭😭😭
I'm about to move to Tokyo myself, and as a lifelong overseas Indian, your videos have helped form some idea of what to expect when I move there.

It needs for me to practice in Tamil.
Could you recommend the some apps that you are talking about?
Talk toooooo much 😮
Arigato❤
What’s up with the weird makeup?
How did you learn Japanese exactly by just using apps or did you buy textbooks? How did you remember and memorise all the vocab in your spare time and the kanji .
Do you perhaps any information on manual labour jobs? Im a maintenance painter but cant find any info about such jobs in Japan.
Thanks for being honest. I really don't understand why so many people think of certain societies or cultures as utopias. I love what Japan has to offer, but every society has pitfalls and flaws. I love what many other countries offer as well.
This is my natural behavior😂, am I Japanese? 😅
I always knew Japan wont be a perfect. People are so amature they watch anime and think of Japan as a fairytale I was like that once too but then i started researching about Japan by reading or watching videos then I realised it has some problems like assults etc. I'm not crazy for Japan but I definitely prefer it over my country because every country has its pros and cons and in my case Japan seems much better.
Immediatelv there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized.” Acts 9:19
Can’t belive I payed my school 100k but it’s not in the list lol

It seems that foreigners often simplify the Japanese act of bowing into a single word-"bow"-and think of it as one unified gesture. However, I believe Japanese people use at least ten variations of bowing, depending on the situation and their emotions at the moment. Broadly speaking, bowing can be divided into two categories: "ojigi" and "eshaku." "Eshaku" is more like a light bow, where the upper body doesn’t bend much, and only the head tilts forward slightly. While many foreigners are familiar with the word "bow," they often lack awareness of "eshaku." Yet, this gesture carries subtle emotional nuances, similar to how tone of voice works in English-it can add depth and context to communication. If we go into detail, there are probably two or three types of "eshaku," but I’ll leave that explanation here. The key point is that "eshaku" is distinct from "ojigi" and is frequently used by Japanese people in our daily lives, often conveying nuanced feelings. Foreigners would benefit greatly from recognizing and understanding this. Mastering "eshaku"-its knowledge, awareness, and application-alone could go a long way in making someone’s mannerisms feel much more Japanese.
Thanks for the useful gestures to know! You look stunning btw 😊
so actually am a beginner and i found a popular hiragana learning video on youtube by japanese pod 101, So actually my doubt is that is that video helpful? and am i doing it right?
アナンヤ、please watch yourself, you become a Japanese person more than Japanese 😂
I thought it was about how to SOUND like japanese and not how to ACT like a japanese though. Even if gestures affect the way we talk I am a bit disapointend. Btw, I like your videos and you are very cute too
Well... I guess it works...
Instructions unclear, I broke my neck.
You can add the teeth sucking “iyaaaaa dou desuka neee” along with crossed arms. Saw this on a podcast

Damn, it’s so good as if you switch personalities❤😂
"just don't break your neck" 😂😂 NOTED 😂🤝🏻
Thank you for this. My husband and I are learning Japanese through the Pimsleur app. I'm also a visual learner though so I know I should also do flash cards. My husband is on Japanese 2. He is better at it because he already knows a second language. Our kids are learning as well! We have 4 kids. They are 13, 11, 9, & 5. Our youngest girls learn well through Japanese cartoons. I'm almost on Japanese 2, but I'll be honest, I feel like because I'm not perfect at it, I don't do it every day, like the app suggests. But I'm definitely keeping with it! My husband and kids and I hope to live in Japan one day. My husband is a special education teacher here in Alabama, so he hopes to work with disabled children in Japan.
Good to know, also you get more pretty by the day girl :D
so good! thank u so much, i went to japan recently and saw a lot of native speakers doing these things so it’s great to see you point them out clearly :)

I want to become fluent in Japanese,Korean and spanish, but problem is I don't have money to pay for classes and I wish that it's free so I can't pay when I learn
I’m 25 and starting to learn and seeing these videos makes me think I’m😂😂😂 cooked
I started learning since I was 25 too. Now I have a job teaching Japanese. It took me 5-6 years to become fluent though
halooo, do you have a deck for hiragana in anki app?
