      It all depend on your electric skills. It s not a ready set or a plug and play. You have to make yourself the connection to beam. You have to get the wiring diagram of the bike, a multimeter and delve into the records of each device for identify everything. Then you have to wire, weld, insulate and protect to finally integrate everything into the bike. You'll understand this is tens of hours.     May I ask if you needed to reflash your Ecu in order for you to bypass the immobilizer on the original instrument panel? Just asking because I’m having lots of problem on my htpermotard and want to change them as well. Thanks!

      Unfortunetly yes. You need to reflash the ECU if not your bike won’t start (transponder between the key and the dasboard)

      I hope you don’t mind but I would like to see if it’s ok for me to trouble you for some more advises.
      I’ve a Hypermotard 796 (2010) and recently having problem with the immobilizer kicked in and blocking ignition and messing up the cluster (dash), the left hand control unit are no longer responding. Now the question is by flashing the ECU, did you managed to disable the immobilizer and completely separate the ECU with the dash and key? I do wanna switch to a motogadget system in the future but really need to make sure it works before I invest in it.
      Ps I don’t have the master key and the code card, just in case you are wondering

      @@MitakaShun I m not sure and you need to check with a « mapper » like NR BIKE. I think you can do everything with motogadget solutions (you can find other product on their website). They provide Dashboard and ECU to make a brand New wiring harness. But be carefull, before to customize, fix all your pb. Cause add complexity to an initial bad situation is not good. Last information you can by pass all your electric system with motogadget solution but you ll need very good skills and you ll say bye bye to initial information from the dash board (fuel indicator, alarm, …). Everything is possible but you need time and money… Customization is not less expansive than the repair (it’s even the opposite 😅). Good luck !

    Hello man please could you help me about my question? Well i've got a harley davidson 883r 2008 and i also got a motogadget lile that can i install on my bike or would i need to get a M-unit to make it work? Thank you!

      Hello Pedro ! No need to have M-unit for this installation. Directly on the original beam. But you can use a M-unit for turn signal otherwise you ll use à specific turnlight central. Be carefull... You have to reprogram your calculator ECU, if not your bike won t start. Bye Matthieu.

      If you want to adapt it from a harley to a ducati (check on the motogadget web site) but for me it s possible. After many Hours of modification on the beam (hand soldering, electrical isolation, ...) it will be ok. Don t forget, when you unplug your original dashboard, your bike couldn't start anymore with reprogramation of the ecu). Everything is possible but you have to know that is not easy and not plug and play. You must have a minimum electric skills and electric tools to make the job.
