Want something manageable like this for the living room. Just trying to figure out what all I put in it without it being too much like a gladiator arena. Lol. But we'll see This is just beautiful. Well done sir.
For my desert substrate my recipe is 2 party decomposed granite, 1-2 part sand depending on how sandy of a desert your going for, 1 part coco fiber, and 1/2 part top soil.
Is everything still alive? I am thinking about making one but usually I bottom water my cactus and am not sure how well a setup like this would last. Did things thrive, survive or die?
i recently made one myself ( not as nice as yours) today i looked and found little insects inc a small caterpillar ! no Idea how they got in there ?? How to get rid of them ?
To give a step by step would be helpful if you also explained what mix you used as substrate and some explanations along the way ,loved the final result but not helpful to understand how to make one with the right ingredients

You’re missing the step where you give ratios and types for substrate
Also plant names and isopod names
@@luyahroz9313 cracking me up that the guy hearted your comments and then made no effort to answer your questions

Those isopods dried out, didn't they?
There is a humidity side in the left corner for them.

Stones:drainage

Sand:Decoration
Drainage would be my guess
