- Come along with Blake and I on our four day cruise to Half Moon Cay on the Carnival Sunshine! This is one of the last cruises going out of the Charleston, SC port.
The Sunshine is great!! Gonna miss her here in SC! Jacksonville here we come!

We just got back from a 4 day and really enjoyed our first cruise. We also stayed in the cloud 9 area…deck 10. My hubby tried to get a free massage sample that was on the itinerary and they said they don’t do it. Our cruise director was Lizzie…she was so full of energy. Our ship was so smooth…barely felt a thing. I wish that had been the case for you all. We esp enjoyed the steak house and Italian restaurant. Our only complaint was smoking at the casino. We also live in Charleston and decided to take advantage of being so close.

The lower deck you choose, the less rocking you'll feel. We've sailed on the Sunshine probably 5-6 times - and always have a great time. Agreed - the staff is top notch. Next time I'm at Half Moon Cay I'll keep walking down the beach. That area looked amazing!!

This is a beautiful ship! Awesome to have a verandah! Disney would never let us take food off the ship when we did excursions! I definitely notice the ship rocking! I’m glad you thought your cruise was worth it! It looks really nice!
Huh interesting! Nobody said anything to us 😅 and yes it was totally worth it for the price! We may try Disney at some point. MSC may be our next one 💖

You can get huge fines at most ports if they find fruit on you from the ship (they often have trained sniffer dogs checking for fruit!). Fun watching you two enjoy your cruise!

I had no idea Carnival donates to St. Jude’s. That’s amazing. I have a son in remission so this makes me even happier to go on a Carnival cruise.

You don't have to pay extra for the shows. All included!
There are a few restaurants on board that you can pay extra for, and we chose the Italian place, Cucina. It was honestly so good and worth it! Here's something we learned while on board: You can still eat at Cucina during the day and not pay extra! For lunch, they do a build your own pasta, and it's soooo good.
But, the main dining room which is included is very good as well and has a wonderful variety!
The higher line ships have better stabilizers. I have not felt a ship moving in so many years.

Hey great video! Have a question....is there an elegant/dress up night on the cruise? At half-moon cay, looking at the beach from the ship which direction did you walk to get to that beach you showed? To the right or the left?? Thanks!
Hey there! Thanks so much! Yes there is an elegant night, and it’s so fun to see people all dressed up!
When you get to Half Moon Cay, walk through the entrance, find the beach or pirate ship bar called Captain Morgan on the Rocks ( this is the best landmark I can give you) and then continue walking north on the beach. You can’t really walk further than the large rocks. You just want to go in the opposite direction of everyone else haha. Hope this helps!

i also got the motion sickness patches heard there better than the pills so im wondering how it worked for u?
The patches are way better! Just be sure to take them off after 3 days. They can make your vision a bit blurry. 😅
i heard it was remodeled in 2013 then i heard you say 2018 so thats a little bettr than 2013 5 years difference

Can you do horseback riding on the beach?
Yes you can! It’s an excursion and is extra. You can book on the ship when you arrive!
