Guess what, "passion" is "sexual attraction". Its the same thing, but different words. Then look at all the other things they shared: both had only date white people, both liked blondes and then beliefs and culture ... Deepti and Shake are very much the same.

Part of me wonders if Shake is now just doubling down and in “fight back” mode bc his pride has been shattered. I think it will take years for him to come to terms with everything. But shame on the show that cast him. He is NOT in the right mindset for a show like this and they are responsible for putting her through it and him as well. They saw him and thought “ratings!” And didn’t think about the damage that would happen. Yes, he is responsible for his own actions, but I believe most of us wouldn’t handle instant fame that is 90% hate well. I just hope he and she are getting help and that anyone else who is going into this knows and prepares for something as toxic as this, if they go at all.

No, he's just being honest. He is fine with everything and his pride is anything but shattered trust me. He's got an amazing GF and his confidence is stronger than ever. If you are going to argue that they should of not allowed Shake on the show, then they should not of allowed the female version of Shake on the show. I find it interesting how something such as the language we use to express ourselves can make us a villain or a hero through they are much the same person.

Biased and opinionated interview
I like to flip arguments to see if they are fair. What I notice about Shake and Deepti is they say the exact same thing, but use different words. Easiest example is Shake spoke about not having a sexual connection with Deepti, but Deepti also said a few times that they did not have a passionate connection. Sorry, but "sexual connection" and "passionate connection" are the same thing. Shake's main problem is he hasn't learned to tone down his language. The more I look at both of them beyond the why they say things the more they are saying the same thing.
Shake is the man without doubts.
Deepti is a sweet heart, no doubt. But, remember, it wasn't just Shake, she admitted that she only dated tall blonde guys as well. She went into the show very insecure. Shake and Deepti are really not that different when it comes to the core. If you strip away their external styles of communication (Shake is abrasive, Deepti is way too soft), they are kinda like two sides of the same coin.

No one believed shakes apology is sincere. Especially when his co-stars called him out on it, and then finally he gives apology after getting probably thousands of negative responses to his behavior. After the fact and only because of his public persona is ruined by himself. He is a donkey's behind at any girl that dates this guy has to be bonkers. It's his attitude when it comes to people and especially women that you cannot fix. He is a victim of himself.
Not to mention after his apology he went on ig live to say Deepti and Shayne did coke together. Classless.
I think his apology was a thing in the moment because he thought her feeling were hurt. But when she continued with the manipulation, he took that apology back as he should.

Deept - Shake is a Narcissist - an Overt Narcissist. People like you and I who are deeply empathetic and trusting are exactly what a narc targets. Please be careful of that going forward. Theres also a Covert Passive Aggressive Narcissist (female) on the show but I'll leave that to you to figure out. You are a beautiful soul and the LOVING words you spoke at the wedding could not have been said more perfectly! Never look back!

She is a clout chaser. Shake really exposed her, she begged him to get married and then get divorced after a year.

@S G Deepti was not upset about Shake saying that he was not physically attracted to her. She was upset that Shake went behind her back to say horrible things about her to their cast mates. Deepti thought she and Shake had at least a growing friendship after Shake claimed that Deepti was one of his best friends. As a result, she felt betrayed so I can understand how that could be hurtful to her.
@S G If that was all Shake had said, it wouldn't have been an issue. The problem was he said more than "he wasn't physically attracted to her" behind her back to the other cast mates instead of saying the extra to Deepti. But, it's over. They both found their people so I'm happy for both of them.
@S G It was things that we didn't get to hear due to editing. For example, talking about her loose skin, knowing that when a person has lost a lot of weight, they will have loose skin if they don't have it surgically removed. If he wasn't attracted to her based on that, that's fine, but don't be insensitive about her journey and body shame her behind her back.
