Machine Coding Round 🔥 Web Developer Interview

- Опубликовано: 29 авг 2024
- This video covers my personal tips for cracking the Machine Coding Round in the Web Developer Interview. I’ll be sharing my personal tips for managing time, technical topics and many other approaches which you should follow to clear this super easy round in your next frontend Interview.
Companies including Microsoft, Flipkart, Swiggy and many others take this as the first round for the Web Developers where you’ll be given a problem statement and they expect you to come up with working code in a limited time window (around 1-2 hours). Also, they expect you to code your solution in pure vanilla Javascript.
By just keeping a few things in mind and preparing yourself mentally for this round can help you crack this machine coding round in UI Interview with ease. This is the second video in the Cracking the Frontend Interview series and in the next video I’ll be coming up with the most frequent questions asked in the Machine Coding Round.
Cracking the Frontend Interview Series - • Machine Coding Round 🔥...
Major things which interviewers check with this Machine Coding Round are :
- Can you code from Scratch?
- Are you good at basics of Javascript?
- Is your code modular?
- Is your code scalable?
- Is your code readable?
- Is your approach right?
- How do you manage time?
- How well can you Google?
- Do you know what’s happening behind the scenes?
Preparing in the correct way for this round of JS Interview can make it very easy for you to crack.
Also, watch these related videos which can be just like the Cherry on the Cake. Preparing and using these concepts in your solution can really impress the interviewers :

Can you do a live stream for a machine coding problem, take one of the many problems asked and just do a 2-hour live stream as you would go along solving it. It would be really helpful for us.
I think Akshay is not active for quite some time. A live stream would have been very useful for us.
Hi #Akshay just one point I would like to add in it, (Correct me, if I am Wrong) that take the trickiest part in the end, since if you take the Trickiest part / feature of the application in the 1st and then end up just exhausting your mind sooo much that , this feature may or may not get completed but you may end up exhausting your mind so much that you are not able to implement even the simple features...... if such things happen, you will end up stressing your self unnecessarily, also once up finish up with small small comparatively easy features, then it will make you at-least happy, and you will be able to concentrate on the Trickiest part with more confidence and clarity, this thing happened with me in one interview, and after wards I got to know that only I among the 28 people was able to develop that feature, others just have tried and left it incomplete ., It boosted my Confidence like any thing. And Thank you very much #Akshay you really really bring up very very useful things for us, great to have you as a mentor. Thank you #Akshay

Awesome video! This video is a must watch for people who are taking UI interviews!!!!
Hi Akshay, High hopes on this series.
You could probably do a video where you can present a question that you faced in machine coding round and how you coded, while actually coding it in the video explaining what kind of patterns/architecture you chose etc.
Sure, I'll try to come up with a video covering my approach to solve these problem in depth. Stay subscribed!
Dude your videos are awesome man! Thank you for doing this, real big help!! :) I really enjoy watching your videos.
Thanks. You covered very important facts, like prepare for common things like Ajax calls, library methods etc before hand

I have seen your channel grow from 45K to 259K and still growing. Nice to see you grow. It brings positive energy
This is fantastic! I appreciate the time and effort that went into this
Very valuable information, excited for the upcoming videos. All the best!
Hi #Akshay, it's a much useful video.
I believe the below would be helpful somewhere in this round.
Sample models (Ex: vehicle specs, animals family, employee details, etc.)
Variable names
These will be helpful to build an imaginary architecture instantly.
Sir please make a video on "How much time and efforts it takes to crack any interview". Please give us a "complete strategy" so we can follow it.
Prepare for each and every round individually. Being mentally prepared is equally important as much as technically prepared for the interview. Anyways, will plan for a video with any extra tips which I can share with you. :)
@@akshaymarch7 Thank you so much sir
Hey Akshay,
Thank you for devoting your time. It's really motivating to gear up for Coding Round. Commendable !!
Simple and deep explanation brother 👍🏻 you r doing great job for all the interviewees 😊
the energy and enthusiasm you are putting in namste javascript are unmatchable❤.
Can you create another video as an extension to this video where you solve the question which you faced? How you approached the question? What you have done differently if given more time etc.
Bro
Your machine coding tips and tricks really helped. I was able to crack that interview round.
Can you please suggest some tips for system design round for FE position
Hey Akshay, these series are so good that I just want to follow what you are saying.
Can't wait for the next video!!! THANKS FOR SHARING KNOWLEDGE
This is perhaps the most important video
Thanks, Akshay for the great content 👍. Appreciate your time and effort.
Thank you so much for such amazing content sir :)
22:29 how to implement simple typeahead feature in very less time? suggestions?
Great explanation, really appreciate it ❤
This one is awesome. Please put a video for UI design round
Hi,
awesome video. Can you guide us how can we prepare for this round. resources and tutorials please.
Thank you so much for such a lovely content and your hard work.
Along with preparing for front end interviews, I’m also preparing for backend interviews so I feel more comfortable coding in Java. Will that not be a good impression if it’s a front end position ?
Thank you!
From my knowledge for front end machine coding interviews you must have to deal with browser so you must have to write Javascript/html/css. And if its something else you can just ask to interviewer instead of making trouble for your self.
Hi Akshay, it'll be very helpful if you can list the pocs you were asked to work on machine test rounds?
Wait for the next video 😊
Thanks for the info, this will help me with my coding round with upstocx
Hi, I have machine coding round on 02 August 2021 for upstox. can u please share your experience. it will be helpful for me
Really helpful series
Hey Akshay , nice videos plz come up with more real scenarios I have saw your food ordering app something like many more
Can we get some actual examples to practice ? Some questions or any book or any link which covers the core concepts.
Check out the next video in the same series. I've covered a lot of questions which you can practiy. All the best!
Thank you bro for uploading this video
Sir i can't download your resume from your website, it's showing 100% downloaded but i can't see it
thank you ! I have learnt a lot.
Nice video. Can you provide some sample problem statements for the machine coding round?
Next video will be covering that, stay subscribed! :)
Thanks a lot Akshay for this amazing video. Just one small question that I am from a Non- IT background and never worked on DS, so in how much depth should I prepare for DS??
Really very impressive.
I have a personal collection of syntax&pre made functionality. in any point, if I get confused I will refer that document
That's great. Why don't you share that with everyone. :)
Hi - Thank you so much sharing all these with us in such amazing way. Keep it up. Stay Blessed :)
Thank you. Excellent video.
great video. thanks for the tips. one more request can u take a machine problem and built it from scratch using JS.
Sure, I'll try to come up with a video covering my approach to solve these problem in depth. Stay subscribed!
How about React / Angular? Most machine coding rounds will ask to implement something in these frameworks. Pure javascript is usually asked in f2f interview rather than machine coding.
Is it? Correct me if I am wrong.
Most of the times, what I've faced is that companies ask us to code in vanilla JS in Machine Coding Round. Frameworks abstract a lot of things and make our lives easier, interviewers are interested to check if a candidate can actually code in vanilla JS.
You Nailed it. 👍🏽
Great content..Thank you for the help
Hi Akshay, could you please suggest how to focus on datastructure and algo along with web development, and which language should i use for practice for data structure. As already we need to learn abound javscript and another framework so on which language should we focus for ds and algo... Thanks in advanced you are doing really great work...
The experience you had shared is simply awesome, thank you very much
#saisharath
Very useful. Thanks for sharing :)
Hi, Akshay.... plz discuss the questions we will get a lot of help from those questions
Awesome...
I have done the full stack development and I want to practice questions for the machine coding round ,please suggest me a platform so I can practise questions.
Please try to use microphone for better sound quality. It's humble request to you.
Thanks for your feedback. I'll try to get one soon.
Please start teaching JavaScript from beginning.
Give me some time. I've some plans for the same. I don't want to create another basic JS course. I'm planning to come up with some unique content which will focus on, "How Javascript actually works behind the scenes". Stay tuned ;)
Bhai please make a video on how to vanilla js as a seperate function for seperate feature of website
very good work keep doing
thanks a lot brother

Hello Akshay sir, please make videos on how node.js works.🙏🙏
Are we allowed to choose IDE of our choice( VS code etc) , or do we have to code in online editors like codepen, codesandbox etc ?
Hey Akshay Saini, Are we allowed to use bootstrap in machine coding rounds?
bro the last round of the company for which i am sitting is called the "system test" what is meant by that? please help!
Which library do we use there in the interview?
U r like messaih for frontend development interviews haha
Haha, thanks Kiran! :)
hey Akshay , Does Flipkart UI dev hiring Machine coding round involved API, UI stuff or its just focussed on console running apps with in place data structures (instead of API based)
Now I will give 10 interviews. Pass all of them. Get offer from all. 😂👏👏😎
Thanks man, i will keep them in my mind
Make a Collection of machine coding round.
Any online resource to practice for Machine Coding Round?
I'm pretty new to this stuff, so I have a question. When you say we have to code in vanilla is, does that include Node? You mentioned using the local storage to maintain the state of our app, and as far as I know, we can't work with the local storage with vanilla js (without Node that is).
As you said, you are pretty new to this stuff, please consider grabbing a good JS book and have a read. It will really help you to answer the questions you are asking. And it will give more clarity to the videos you are watching regarding JS.
We can use local or secession storage using js watch code with Harry js playlist
This is the most difficult round for me
Which tool you used to make this video?
Sir please reply ??? In machine code round1 they allow Internet use or not
In the interview of machine coding we can use the internet or not ?
Any source to do practice for machine coding round?
sir which language we have to choose in DS?
Can we use bootstrap?
does anyone know other youtuber who explain things like him?
Hello sir,
My interview is scheduled for UI developers freshers on next Friday in tavant technologies
plzzz sir... there is machine test
and how can i prepare for that.... as it is for freshers.. what kind of questions can be asked??
tavant is busy bro. if it is react, keep ur redux+react boilerplate ready in ur git. pull and start. if its OOJS, learn prototyping and object approach or class based approach.
@@vishalbisht6871 i didn't get u bro... plz can you elaborate little bit?
