I have little sympathy for people that run up a bill, and or their kids run up a bill because of their parents negligence and or inability to properly parent or keep an eye on their kid. The fact that they expect a company or someone else to eat any of the cost is ridiculous and causes everyone else to have to pay more as company's jack up their prices to compensate for losses.
Normally I'd be with you, but Roblox makes almost a billion dollars a year, and is almost certainly predatory towards children.
@@therealbenlurie8810 How much they make is irrelevant. Parents need to be parents and take responsibility, and more so than ever these days where so many seemingly let technology babysit their kids. Also, the whole victim mentality BS is also a big part of the problem, people need to get a grip.
It was clearly an accident, and it costs them no money to refund virtual items. AND they should put safety measures on the account when making purchases knowing how many little kids play Roblox. Your comment is bullshit.
@@o.b.9781 LOL It absolutely does cost them money, in more ways than one....The very fact that a representative has to manually go ahead and refund it is costing money as that worker needs to be payed for their time to interact with this customer, and all because of irresponsible parents and or a potentially disobedient kid, which again still falls on the parents. If everyone called in and said that it was an accident, which trust me countless do try(I used to work in the industry), and a refund was issued to all those people then the company would eventually go bankrupt and or at very least suffer losses. A little business 101 course might do you well. The fact that you choose to insult my comment is laughable, especially when you've not made any sort of valid point thus far. If they don't want people canceling their subscriptions, they should put safety measures on the account to prevent young children from accidentally purchasing items. The company would go bankrupt? Well, they have no right to keep money that was a result of an accidental purchase. That's essentially theft.
