I don't understand the problem here. Once you buy a corkboard, you're free to do with it what you want. Give it away to a friend, throw it in the garbage, give it to the store you bought it from. You can give it to whoever you want once you've purchased it. This woman is just being ridiculous.
The funniest part, for me, is that she believes that only certain UPS drivers deliver Pottery Barn products LOL
