Hudson for him it's his 1st season he is learning in 2 years from now his confort with the NHL will make of Hudson a dangerous asset on the power play even his shot is not powerfull.
Matheson does not need any more minutes. Play Matheson less on the power play, Hutson more, then have Huston play a bit less especially on the penalty kill, and split the rest of the minutes evenly among the rest of the D so they can get more then 10-14m.
The way MSL coaches to win games is to just overplay his best players and hardly use the other ones. MSL has been doing that ever since he took over the head coach job in Montreal. I have been saying that for the last 2 years !!!
Lane Hudson is almost like J.C. Trembly who quaterbacked Montreal's power play. He wasn't a physical defenseman but you swore he had the puck attached to his stick by a string when he played. When he jumped to the WHA he was the league's best two way defenseman
The fans/ media can't want their cake and it too !!! We can't have a rebuild while watching great games with regular wins. In a rebuild, the more games you lose...usually the better players you draft !!! Can't have a great team without great players !!!
Stu mentions that Primeau can't let go of a bad goal and it gets inside of his head. Monty hasn't really been able to let go of a bad goal either this year. How long are we going to sit here and pretend that Monty is great at responding to bad goals? Neither goalie is capable of it, at least not this season. Monty is reminding me of the same Monty who sucked when he arrived here. Its like he took 2-3 steps back as a goaltender.
Lets relax, this team still need a lot more high end talent to start winning regularly. So this tough season to watch could possibly turn into gold at the 2025 draft with a bit of luck: a Misa, Hagens or even a Schaefer. Indeed, we are still rebuilding...!!!
I really am beginning to think that the habs would have been a lot better had they given Luke Richardson the job, instead of letting him go to Chicago and then hire St Louis. And i will never stop saying, that had the Habs let Richardson coach the Habs in the Stanley Cup final instead of giving Ducharme the nod to go in back of the bench, when they were flying with Richardson.
Tony,we need to loose...we are rebuilding remember !!! Finish last, draft first...We just have to fire the little piece of you know what thats behind the bench...narcissic napoleon something lol
Matheson on the pp is so predictable, does anyone else notice that he goes right to left, has the roght winger open then passes down low to the winger who is covered? Its so bad
A new coach isn't going to change anything if the goalies can't stop a beach ball from going in. Even if it dramatically improved the defence of the rest of the team it wouldn't matter. You need your goalies to be able to stop freebies. Sam and Cayden cannot do that this year.
@@JJ-et7il Disagree, new coaching staff, new philosophy, new approach, new energy would turn this team around...mgmt at some point is going to have to admit the St. Louis experiment is a disaster.
Nobody is talking about this management. They were supposed to change the culture...Really.How many rookie coaches has the Habs had in the last 30plus years..7 without any experience whatsoever. You must change for changes sake because rookie coaches for this team is the same result everytime.Get an experienced coach and A STOP EXCLUDING 80% OF THE COACHING TALENT IN THE LEAGUE.its ludicrous that this is still happening. If they do get rid of MSL then who....mostlikely a person that was fired...another recycled coach Same results.Wake up the culture of winning is gone because the owners hands are cuffed.
Too many players that are in cruise mode: 1. Anderson is basically a dead weight 2. Armia plays 1 game out of 5 3. Primeau is not ready for the NHL 4. Dach is struggling mightily 5. Matheson is having a bad year for some unknown reason 6. Dvorak ? ? ? 7. MSL seems to be unable to change his decision of a hybrid defensive system There needs to be some changes ... better sooner than later.
Montreal would be lucky to get an empty case of beer for Primeau if traded. Putting a road pylon in the middle of the net would stop more pucks than Primeau.
@@Steve.bennetThat's what I find funny about this. Monty hasn't been able to rebound from a bad goal once all season. He's just had a handful of decent games meanwhile he's been awful outside of that, and if there's anyone outside of Primeau in this league who cannot bounce back from a bad goal it's Monty.
@@JJ-et7il Agreed. Everyone dumping on Primeau. Yes he's not good. But our "number one" is just as bad. I can't even count how many first shot of the game goals he's let in in the last few seasons. They can't even back eachother up.
@Steve.bennet exactly. And he never bounces back from them either. The expression on his face gives it away every single time too, he's let it go to his head, and who can blame him? Letting in a lot of early bad goals. Normally I refrain from criticizing him because I genuinely believe he cares, and at times in the past he really has kicked ass in face of some pretty bad teams in front of him. I won't deny the team in front of him sucks still but he's been worse than the team. Most nights it's difficult to even count on him for saves he was making like nobodies business last season. It isn't just because the d in front of him suck, he sucks too for some reason. From what I understand he's one of the hardest working ones on the team too, so it could be he's playing through an injury. I still believe in him as a player, but I won't sugarcoat my reaction to his play so far.

Poor Hutson. As the saying goes: It's hard to soar like an eagle when you're playing with a bunch of turkeys.

Bring in a strong defence minded coach to assist MSL…ANYONE KNOW SUCH A COACH, one who could work with MSL system.
Great show. Refs are at a new low this year. Agree with Stu, lose the video review for other than a good goal. Make the refs work.

Trade the coach and the gm
Why is Lane Hudson a Defenceman?
He’s small, and skates better than any forward on this team.
