Best mashed potatoes I've seen on RUclips. Gonna use this for all my holidays and random summer nights where I'm feeling like some comfort food. Always been obsessed withed mashed potatoes since I was a kid, and last Thanksgiving we screwed them up. I won't make the same mistake this year.
Legendary chef! I finally made this for Thanksgiving like I said I would two months ago. Best mashed potatoes of my life! We made some more last night with leftover rosemary & sage. I used generic olive oil we had on hand but next time I will invest in some fancy glass bottle stuff. I believe mixing butter, heavy cream, and olive oil makes the perfect blend. And the fact that the aromatics enhance the blend and are strained out gives the perfect flavor without adding the actual garlic and rosemary itself. This is a lifetime recipe!

I feel like too much olive oil changes the flavor of the potatoes so I generally go very easy on it. I'd rather my potatoes be buttery
