This song made me cry when I was in a boat trip on the river Seine. It was my last day in Paris and when I heard this song I didn't want to leave.
I was also in a boat on the Seine and I heard that. I had the same feeling ('cause it was my last day there too). When I got back home I looked for this song here in RUclips!

J'aime beaucoup la chanson, c'est un peu triste mais en général heureuse. Dans la classe de français en États Unis, nous avons écouté ça et je suis très fascinée par la mélodie et les paroles et plus importante, le sentiment unique que le monde anglais qui n'a pas vécu en France ne comprend jamais, moi compris :) Et finalement, J'ai hâte de voyager en France, surtout les Champs Élysées!
Malheureusement, les Champs Elysées actuels ne font pas beaucoup penser à la chanson. En tout cas je n'ai pas du tout ressenti cela.
I agree. It's a lovely song. I'm much into the 60's and 70's, some 80's. Worked at a radio station for 6 1/2 hours, before I went to study game programming.

great song..i heard it in wes andersons film "darjeeling unlimited" and it had so much feeling...didn't understand the words, but just knew the lyrics had to be beautiful and once translated they were.normally i listen to hard rock and this song touched me.AMAZING

i love this song. when i watch the movie DARJEELING they had this beautiful song at the end when three brothers were on train ride in india. I wish i can understand this song but this song sounds so pretty and makes me feel like dancing each time i hear it.
