Great comparison video using real life cases. I hope Heptabase adds alias capability as well.

Thanks Tom, another helpful overview of key features in Heptabase. I’m really looking forward to your Heptabase course.
One thing I’d like to know is whether you can embed s in Heptabase cards, like you can with videos. I’d love it if you could have Padlet boards or live Google maps as part of your Heptabase content, so you could interact with these without leaving your Heptabase workspace. Also, thanks for working with more visual content in your demos. Given that Heptabase is such a visual tool and is perfect for visual thinkers, it’s surprising how many other tutorials only focus on manipulating text content in Heptabase. Showcasing its capacity to work with different forms of visual media would be a big plus for your tutorials I think. 👍

Iframes are not available yet. However we are confident it’ll eventually be added too! We are also looking forward once we can open the doors to our Heptabase course for you! 💚

Hey Tom. Thanks for these videos. I am a noob when it comes to this, as I only recently started using Notion - and Heptabase introduces a visual element that I truly like. My question to you is perhaps a bit more general - how do you deal with different languages in your note-taking? Is it something you pay little attention to? For example, I have a bunch of English and some German books and studies - I serve 2 language groups - how do you deal with the language challenge? Do you prepare English and German specific notes?

The workaround for images or youtube videos using Text field works for me.

I need more features before I make the jump. I need the Zotero connection and more colors. It would be nice if they had an API as well.

An API would be really useful indeed. 💚

I think I saw Zotero connection on their public roadmap… I agree, this would be a killer feature and make it really relevant for academic work.

    I use obsidian and DEVONthink
I have a look on capacities and heptabase
DEVONthink does not show up on your videos, why? It’s pkm and very simple notetaking
Which tool would you use of all these?
Obsidian is so much work for setup?!
All the others I don’t know so much from setup point?
I don’t want so much setup but pkm and not taking and white board mindmap canvas style?

@@juergenheise28 so you can book a call, or you are waiting to get an invite to the call? If you get there, tell them we are eagerly waiting too...we want to show the community what Lazy actually looks like...so it'll be very useful for all of us if we finally get our hands on Lazy... 💚

Yes 7 days free return and... its like 10 dollars... price of one pizza. Its crazy to see people cry about that.

Yes... and it's also crazy to see how people miss the point. What good does holding my 10 dollars for 7 days do the company only to return it. Why not just give a 7-day trial? And BTW... Where do you live? Because I haven't seen a $10 pizza in many a year.@@ARNBNDL
