So a note about Maryland's uniforms, these actually aren't a new "modern design." These are the uniforms from the 1980s, which A: is regarded as some of the Terps' best years and B: one of the most Iconic uniform designs in our School history. In addition, Blackout and Gold Rush variations were released over the season.

As a UK die hard and alumni, we absolutely hate the checkers. They are not a traditional staple of UK and should have been an alternate to commemorate Sacretariat from the beginning. These uniforms look much better than they have in years; and I’m talking years. What Kentucky fans want and what looks best is the traditional wildcat and the power K. Go look at UK’s uniforms from the 80’s. Also, the new wildcat logo is trash. We’re all really upset by it, I know very few people who have been happy with the uniform direction and I live in Lexington / went to grad school here. Nike was finally forced to make changes to our uniforms because people hate the checkers so much. So no, we don’t need checkers on the sleeves.
