I think it's cool that we got Exodia support after so long, but hopefully they can tie more old cards related to it, like the ones you mentioned in this video. Also the mirror force trap card is kinda a reference to it's first appearance when Yami Yugi used it against Weevil in Duelist Kingdom with the burn effect.
Relative to all the anime archetype support that's come out in the past couple years this seems very good, and while I know there are people who disagree (you included), I like that they gave the deck a more standard gameplan, with assembling the peices as a backup instead of the other way around. I'm also a big fan of the way they encourage you to play the deck pure while still allowing you to mix other archetypes in. I can see the deck using centurion to quick synchro with the different levels of the millennium monsters since the centurion monsters become traps and as such wouldn't get shuffled by the cross, and the millennium deck doesn't have a normal summon yet.
It looks pretty good. I like the idea of Exodia having a little more than just it's win condition to fall back on. As for the Yu-Gi-Oh support, I feel they need a reliable form of spell/trap removal or negation and at least one alternate to the gold sarc of light to be good
I'm all for the bodied forms as backup options (or even focal points), but it would be great if the support facilitated assembling Exodia the original way. Legendary Incarnate and Obliterate started down the path of sending pieces to the grave to power Incarnate and retrieve them from there, but the new stuff, other than Exodo Flame, doesn't align with any of that. Just feels like they started from scratch instead of building on what they had.
The one spell is probably the only time the game has referenced zorc not including the ritual based on season 0 zorc. Probably not for awhile as they just referenced millennium world already here but i hope we're getting diabound support plus zorc
@@customcardguyI'm wondering if you will do the new exodia or exodius custom cards like how adrien geeko has his cards I'm just wondering if you ever make it

They're good at sneaking in those anime references, I'll give em that.
Exodia’s ATK gain is permanent, so
Used to those kinds of effects being "damage calculation" only lol, thanks for pointing out!
Oh lol you're right
Oh...oh my

Good callout on Centurion. I imagine they had that in mind too since Slab can place any monster from your hand in the S/T zone.

Might actually be an easter egg for Zorc/Diabound stuff to come!
Interesting way to give the deck an option besides "figure out how to draw 35 cards in one turn"
That's definitely a huge plus.
The new support looks cool, but i imagine only using the new fusion and Millenium Cross
Sad theres not the exodia pieces but Can still buy it i Guess 😅
I wonder if you would make more custom cards for exodia or exodius? because I think the new support for exodia is a bit lacking
I suspect Konami will roll out a couple more cards shortly, but if not, I'll revisit custom Exodia support later this year.
