You have to run through a portal to actually travel to the other universe. It's like a tunnel that spreads out infinitely. You don't just stick you're arm through one and it come out the other. He can't run back and forth between two universes in such a way that it makes it look like one was standing still getting stabbed while the other one caught up and stabbed him. Plus how would be he stab the speed mirage and make it look like it actually died without both of them dying since if it's a speed mirage it would be the same one? So he stabs himself and then he's just dead and everyone goes on with their lives? 😂😂

In the comics, Zoom's actual power is just slowing down time and it basically just gives thr illusion of Zoom having speed. But in here he does have speed.

I have to give the makers of this show some props because they really pulled every thought out of that concept of extreme speed. They came up with speed mirages, phasing, pretty sure they came up with time dilation too and all these ideas seem really possible in reality so they must have had some smart people working on that set

People need to understand speedsters have different speeds in different timeline, past and future. Harrison Wells version of thawne that got trapped in season 1 is the fastest speedster in the series because he is from the long future. Season 1 thawne will whoop zoom's behind😂. Yall Ever notice that season 1 thawne was not defeated by Barry, Eddie saved the day honestly. Thawne was in the middle of whooping Barry's behind mercilessly. I remember the combo he was throwing at barry. Excluding black flash(cheat code) the fastest speedster in the series is probably the timeline version of the original barry that followed season 1 thawne to prevent him from killing young barry. The Original flash's timeline was screwed the moment thawne killed his mom, so now the flash starts from a different mentality and emotion. Barry becomes the flash regardless in each of those timelines I believe but when thawne got stuck he needed barry to become the flash sooner, so he thawned everything up!

@@sagem5476 he is the fastest if you actually paid attention he lost his connection to the speed force because he erased the flash which caused his timeline to basically to get erased so the only way for him to get back was the flash and if you say he did have speed that speed wasn’t enough for him to go back to his timeline
@@sagem5476 he lost his speed. His connection to the negative speed force depleted because he ran far back in the timeline and battled hard with the flash at the same time, Gideon said so I believe. The speedforce and negative speedforce seem similar but are actually quite different from one another. If barry loses speed all he needs to do is rest and try to get faster. He generates speedforce energy. He will always get his speed back at some point, maybe 1 week, 1 month, 3 months😅 depending on how much was taken from him. Thawnes speedforce is artificial and works on a slightly different basis. If thawnes speed is stolen he will need to tap speed from somebody else lol, hence why he needed barry

Context: he travels between 2 earths via portal. A speed mirage while a good feat for speedster has never seen huge distances,as far as maybe a good few feet? Maybe within 50 or less. While thawne technically faster,this is specifically post season 2 that thawne is faster since season 1 his speed was weakened and on low charge,so at that time zoom was faster,and gaining Barry’s speed definitely improved that too. There’s no way Barry’s speed was just a cure,had to be a boost

Zoom doesnt actually run fast at all, he slows down the space-time continuum to the point that even other speedsters are basically standing still, he can control the speed of everything around him. Not sure why they didnt put this in the show but oh well, also when he says hes not fast enough youre comparing 2 metres of distance to 2 earths worth of distance while having to breach repeatedly the entire time while moving back to the exact spot the other hunter was standing, meaning for zoom to even just blink once and open his eye back up it would be like a week for him of going back and fourth in order to make the speed mirage move in the slightest.

Wait, I just thought of something when he was one of his enemies in the season that he had to be zoom. The enemy that couldn’t make extremely high levels of light. He was able to do a bunch of speed mirages, so technically before he fight him the last time to save the multi-verse. He actually was faster.
The point he is making is that he's not fast enough to create a speed mirage across different earth's not that he's not fast enough to create a speed mirage, he is fast enough to create a time revenant meaning he is fast enough to break the time barrier so he is fast enough to make a mirage

Keep in mind, this definition of speed mirage means that while he was running from Barry and Nora, he was going from Barry to Nora without even leaving a trail (unless he was using a time remnant, which would just make it way less impressive. So I’ll believe that he did do that.)

Well, what jay meant was that jay could speed mirage, but he can't do it that far or long. He can still for it, though, so jay and thawne are probably on the same level at that time in the show
There is actually a canon reason for why he can't make a speed mirage. Due to the fact zoom isn't actually connected to the negative or positive speed force.

Yes time remnants are alive, it’s a living paradox, who ever makes the remnants runs through time and essentially convinces their past self to combine forces to complete whatever task is at hand and when said task is done they’re SUPPOSED TO DIE willingly. After all it IS a paradox. That’s why zoom was so dangerous, he killed himself numerous times to get the upper hand. Thawn doesn’t need those parlor tricks because he is SO FAST he can beat his own ass in two different pairs of clothes.
As for savitars increased speed it’s only because it’s an older Barry with more knowledge of the speed force and his own capabilities, you gotta remember, he learns EVERYTHING good Barry does, and he’s technically from the future after the gang stopped devo. So it isn’t a time remnant of current Barry, it’s a time remnant of a future faster, and more fierce, Barry. Hope that cleared it up.
The way I had it explained is that he isn't fast enough to create a speed mirage between two worlds and switch clothes and fake stab himself. So instead you can run fast enough to open a time portal through the speed force, grab an old version of yourself, and then kill them
