HUGE THANK YOU!!! I DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH - BUT YOU ARE AN AMAZING TEACHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE VERY AMAZING AND WONDERFUL AND YOUR VIDEOS ARE WONDERFUL AND VERY IMPORTANT!!!
The way she offers multiple applications for multiple singers in these videos is why this is genuinely some of the best singing lessons you can get on the internet and for free. Absolutely Amazing.
When it comes to singing, Breathing is where I struggle most. Sometimes it works out and just flows naturally, then other times it's like my body forgets on how to breathe when singing. I sang one of Eminem's song called " Run Rabbit Run " and by the time I finished my abdomen was hurting and my lungs were in dire need of oxygen
I am not a singer yet and will be singing 'Motorhead - Ace of Spades' live in a couple of months. The song is fast, loud, and to me long verses in one breath that led me to almost passing out (I play bass guitar at the same time). A quick search brought me to your channel today and your explanation of what is incorrect is exactly what I now realize I am doing. I will begin practicing daily with your channel as well as seeking private lessons. My short term goal is to be able to provide quality backups vocals and a couple of lead songs. Thank you Victoria!
I love how Victoria breaks down the complexity to a natural functional process. It´s the way I teach. Make it easy and understandable, not complicated.
I fill all the way up every time! It's having an effect I don't want. I can reserve my stamina, and stop stacking! I'll consider the breath support before I sing, as well. Thanks again!
I’ve never heard of the term “budget the air”. This has really helped me to think of breathing in singing differently. Thank you for always explaining things so well. I really enjoy your videos and find them very helpful. There should be more vocal instructors out there like you! I’ve been listening to this video in particular a couple of times as I am working on a song currently that ends in a note held for about 28 and have always struggled with my breathing
I used to constantly use support too much and didn't completely understand the purpose of it. This video helped me a lot, I can see an immedieate improvement! Thank you so much! 😊
I'm so glad I found your videos! You're videos get to the point and you give clear explanations! I hope to sign up to your vocal program in the coming weeks.

I've started taking vocal lessons and now I feel like I'm so anxious about breath support that I sound terrible, I can't even finish a line. The thing that terrifies me the most is that before starting taking lessons I'd sounded okay, it was not supported and shallow but I could control my voice. Now when it's time to sing I'm so anxious, I try to breath properly and end up straight up locking my voice. So somehow I ended up sounding worse after taking classes!! I don't know what to do...
It sounds like you are overdoing breath support, causing everything to lock up. See my big playlist on Breathing & Breath Support and watch the videos on how much support you actually need for what you are singing, and also on locking, good support vs. bad support, and much more related to that subject.
Im now like 6 months into my singing journey. I learned singing on pitch and my high notes are getting better. I’d like to learn new vocal effects and expand my vocal range to upgrade my singing, do you have any video’s about these 2 topic’s I can watch? THANKS A LOT!

Hello teacher I am student and I am so passionate about singing and it is my dream to sing better and I hope you would help me achieving this dream. I would be really happy if you would give me private online classes through zoom.
Sorry but as my website states, my private studio is completely full and I am no longer adding to the waitlist. Pls see my website for other opportunities. Link in description box.
Hello!! Thank you so much for this video, but I still have one question that remains !! My teacher told me I tense my stomach muscles too much which leads to strain on vocal cords, but when I try not to, then my voice is airy and my throat hurts. How can I add more support to sing high notes for example without locking my muscles ? Thank you very much for your help
I have LOTS of videos on this (locking, good support vs bad support, over-supporting, how much support, etc) with exercises. See my huge playlist on Breathing & Breath Support. You can also do a search on my channel under "locking".
i have watched so many of your breath support videos and i still can’t understand the concept. what is it exactly i’m supposed to be doing for breath support? i still don’t understand how it’s supposed to feel.
Have you watched the following video and done the exercises? It breaks it all down as simply as possible. You may need to watch it several times and make sure that you do the exercises. Then after that, you need to learn how to apply it to your singing see 2nd video listed below). Supporting the Voice (Breath Support) - CLEARLY & CORRECTLY explained - FINALLY! (VIDEO #12) - ruclips.net/video/WR2772TGrgo/видео.html. How to Improve Breath Support for Singing - APPLY IT CORRECTLY! ruclips.net/video/5m-5kW87P_M/видео.html
Victoria, my face was getting the 'pins and needles' feeling while I was doing your lessons (in your beginner's playlist. I just started today). How can I prevent that from happening again?
@@Victoria-Victorious Nope, it's not that. Picture it this way: Imagine you laid your head down on your arm for too long or sat on your foot for too long. Not long after that, it just starts to feel static-y or like that sensation of getting electrocuted (if that makes sense). Sort of like that numb feeling.
I oftentimes hear my favorite singers hitting really high notes, but while they are singing that high note suddenly they go even higher to finish the song strong, but without any breaks its just a smooth transition from high to even higher. How can I get that? Is this topic also included on your online program? Thankssss
Phenomenal vocal coach. But I’ve been singing since the age of five in one thing I’ve never really liked about voice training is that there is a lot of abstraction. And I’m someone who likes things black or white. I’m not big on gray areas. Lol. So that’s been always a point of frustration for me.

question of air, am I taking too much air, that after the end of the phrase I burp ?

Will I benefit from this if I am a Male singer? or any suggesion on where I could have an onlibe tutorial to correct abd improve my singing ability
Breathing and breath support is one of the basic principles that applies to all singing.
Ma'am im a male singer going to puberty do you have any recommendations on how to keep my current voice?

Sorry, I have never heard that before. Perhaps you mean the buzzy sensation from resonance? If so, that is a good thing.

No, specific stylisms like that would need to be taught and observed in a private lesson.
