The last time Trump said he was going to bring back air conditioning manufacturing companies back to the US with huge subsidies they moved their manufacturing factories to Mexico a day after he became president! So what happened to your promise, Crooked Trump? Oh, what happened to the coal industry that you promised would bring back millions of jobs, Crooked Trump? Oh, what happened to the promises he made to you, Trumpers? Are you still supporting this lying snake like he is your god?

Wait until those 3 find out China is fed up with their ego's and lack of honesty, then stops exporting to them... What will those "democracies" do then? China is giving tax cuts to their companies, that's why they are producing cheap... somehow, if you look through the budgets of the EU in the last 20 years, every sector of the economy is filled with subventions through tax exemptions, quotas, tax incentives, etc. Now they invented "overcapacity"... next buzzword will be "monopoly" of China of production chains... and by 2030, the EU-NATO-G7 etc will say they need to go to war with China to get back their resources OR as we see now, pay/organize terrorists across the world to attack the BRICS members investing in underdeveloped or developing states.

Bottom line is Chinese productivity cannot be matched by Western countries. Chinese market locally is also big enough to neutralize any foreign attempts to curtail Chinese products. At the other end of the spectrum of consumer consumption of low priced household goods which affect the common households, nothing can come close to Chinese made products for quality at bargain prices. Hence the well patronized stores by the common man like Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollarama etc. will face pressure.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

The solution for those who voted against the levies on China is to leave the EU, just like Brexit. They will survive but not EU. Estonia, France and Italy will go down first. Polish removal will be sad.

There is nothing Europe can make that china must have. All Europe produced are all optional items and luxury items, except for one items UAV machine from ASML . All raw materials are from Africa and Middle East. Everything else china can produce itself using the raw materials. Europe has no Ace up its sleeve, only low cards.

The embargo act was passed almost without debate on December 22, 1807. Jefferson would seriously damage the American economy, striking everyone from farmers who could not sell their surplus cornmeal and flour overseas, to ship owners whose boats now sat idle at anchor, to dockworkers who had no cargo to load and unload, right down to the bartenders at waterfront grog shops who lost their hard-dinking seafaring clientele. The embargo put 30,000 American sailors out of work. THAT WAS 217 YEARS AGO! Free Trade: international trade left to its natural course without tariffs, quotas or other restrictions.

I think China will not attack the German Auto factories in China. There are other fish to fry I'm sure. How about commercial airplanes?

They will phase out all the ICE vehicles, which will also phase out the German cars. The plane will get phase out too because of COMAC.
