You really helped that guy come out of his shell. He seems like a cool guy and he seemed way more confident at the end! Respect to both him and you for coaching him
The black dude was not a 10/10 but he definitely was A LOT better than the first few tries. Also.. Its insane how i can sense the potential in him but he maybe doesn't see it in himself. It makes me wonder about how i don't see the potential in myself. If that makes sense.

I was smiling seeing the first guy come out of his shell some 😊 it's always wonderful when people start believing in themselves, every person has the potential to be amazing!
I totally agree on HOW you present your thoughts is very important. Charisma, confidence and such things play a big role in communication, connecting and how people perceive you. BUT: don’t make the mistake to always try to be the entertainer. There are situations where it is better to have anything to say and some, where it is more important to say something only if the content is real and interesting. At the end of the day, you are interesting to other (not superficial) people, if you say interesting and good things and not if your priority is to concentrate on your appearance. If you can concentrate more on your words and emotions while looking to the ground there is nothing wrong about it. There is a very big risk to not connect well with people, if you are an all time “charismatic” person. Realness, interest and empathy CAN get lost with this strategy too. And it totally depends on wich people you want to have something to do with. When it’s not the loud people, than it may not be the right strategy.
Add some purpose, 0:46min People focus on what i need to to say. If you cant bring the humph, not good 1:32 Look at the person, play around the purposeful ness 6:43, deliver some speech but add some humph. What does it feel like? It took a lot of pratice to summon this 7:38min 1 loud as you can 8:07min Put your body into it. Focus on the vibe, totality downwards
Wow this was amazing. I'm getting anxiety just by watching them talk. I'm gonna work on myself too. Most of the time I'm inaudible, lifeless, timid 😢 it's time to evolve
Its a shame to see how much shame we absorbed and burry our own light - and its great to see how you stubbornly crushed it without crushing him! What a great experience for hin and cool that you didn‘t let him down until he began to really embody ir - one could really see the light begin to glance in his eyes! Cool job from the both of you 💪🏻👍🏻
My top takeaway is keeping the channel of communication open. This is my top takeaway because I struggle with eye contact. And it realised me thar I need to work on this more.
I used to be the first guy, the way he walk with his hands before his belly or whatever that pose is just like trying to shield himself. It just shows you that he is covering himself because of shame, not confident. I can't believe I've come a long way. Hope these people get through and live life they want.
Actually the first guy, just felt wierd about his hand placement because he was standing infront of a little crowd, and 3 cameras. Not because of shame. More so overthinking how he looks to other people
@@shommarib That's because of shame. Switch on. If you're not ashamed in who you are and unflappable to others judgement, why do you care about cameras and crowds?
Love this Julien! I always think of that scene from Archer “would you f*** me? i’d f*** me” if you want to be attractive you have to be someone who would see that type of value in yourself.

These videos are so amazing. Iys so crazy to see the barriers in people slowly dissolve in real-time. They try to hold onto them but each exercise allows them to let go a little more. Truly inspiring 💯 Thank you Julien 🤝🏽
notification gang checking in, my biggest takeaway is to work on tonality and stop hiding from yourself. face yourself baby, you can tell if someone is present vs reacting based on the way they present themselves.
Parallels to himself in his example too. “Regular man, working a regular job” parrelling a regular man, living his routine life “he hated his job” he hates / feels trapped in his routine.
Julien just dropping gold on a daily basis now. Your frame of reference nails so much detail and yet connects to a simplicity that every individual can tap into by simply giving themselves permission to express themselves from a deeper place in the ownership of being. (Forgive my wordiness here but I find it helpful to try to articulate this stuff in words that can help my own ownership of inward knowledge) Unlearning the restraining energies of our lives requires tapping into the unconditional nature we came into the world with & reidentifying ourselves with our childlike enthusiasm for life that we can now hold (as an adult) in a mature capacity for the deeper value judgements that become instinctive in mastering social dynamics. Value judgements are not intellectual but narrative-based. When we begin to break the limits placed on us, we build confidence in freedom as an extension of ourselves that is needed in every area of our life. Whether it is talking to a stranger or making love, our energy becomes wholly owned as we learn our responsibility for it from within in everything we are/do & nurture it's purity in our growing association with it. I believe we must make the demand on ourselves to expand in wholly associating ourselves with our unconditional life which is our original wholeness we unconsciously held as a kid that we now must consciously choose as as an adult in "letting go" of our egoic illusions of control. Essentially, our freedom begins to be found as we unlearn "egoic strain" & associate ourselves more with the pre-egoic energies of wholeness. Paradoxically, this free flow of inward energy animates the individual in unconscious ways that might seem mere egoic in the shine of persona. But the ego isn't the center of identity despite what it may look like. The ego becomes a wardrobe that our identity can freely wear what it deems necessary & congruent with it's deeper association of being that often requires shades of different genuine colors of the same personality. Again pardon my wordiness here in attempt to articulate something very natural & simple. It seems that injury often leads us to the necessity of learning how complex things are but in our healing we must return to the simplicity of the natural connection of things & convert our understanding into a simple trust in our more foundational self.
Hey man, nicely put! Don't put yourself down for your attempt at describing the point you were illustrating. The simple fact that you took the time to write that alone is enough for people to take in and understand, they'll get it if they want to! That's another aspect of being your authentic self. People will like it if they can recognise within themselves, funnily enough the more authentic you are, the more drawn people are towards you!
@@Sravan.Allopi bro thank you so much for saying that! Says a lot about you and how much you value genuine growth and conversation. You are 100% right!
Yess liked 👍🏽. I been following you and RSD trying to better myself for years and I still feel like that guy in the black tee because I didn’t no how to break out of my shell. I always notice my body feeling like a hard rock shell and always tried to break out of it and get out of my own head. My mind/thoughts would be everywhere but this is a great walk through. Starting tomorrow I’m going to try this exercise. Thanks Julien I hope to come to your seminars one day and participate in one of your live events.
When I am singing on a stage I use a little trick to reach all the people: I image a bubble of energy embracing everyone of the listeners. Even the ones who are more far away. I draw that bubble with my eyes. I make contact with every corner of the crowd. My voice automatically changes. It gets richer, fuller and gets more reach. Imagine the crowd surrounds you and there are also people standing behind you who wanna understand you too. The same is usable for talking to crowds. You can try it in school if you get the opportunity to talk to the class. It feels like opening up to all the energy of those people around you. Let it enter your body. This gives you the energy to project your sound to everyone.
I can explain it very well in words yet i am not someone who does this yet (i am learning as well). This vid explains it well, but take my words into consideration too. Think of charisma and vibes as a song you hear, a song you vibe with, but it's your soul, you have to resonate with your soul, turn it into charisma, you sing it! Ultimately you will dance to your own rhythm, if u know how to dance that's the technical part then just be yourself, and combine all these ideas i just mentioned. And you will have the perfect balance of charisma as a person that people can vibe with on a social level. You don't even need to talk if u do it right, if u resonate right, you could just be chilling and you will radiate charismatic personality and vibes. Trust my words but more importantly trust yourself, and you will shine how you want!
Thank you so much for posting this video, Julien! It helped me remember why I stopped using my body fully when interacting with someone, and why I couldn't stand anything that had to do with a lot of movement 👀
I went from "f this guy" in the first 5 seconds, or at least like stereotyping him, but this demonstration is really useful and the first of its kind I've ever seen! I'm very awkward at times, and nowhere near this expressive! I've learned a lot just from this 10m. Thanks Julien!
This was so powerful like i was here saying heyy and pumping myself.a bit in room ofc self conscious if there was ppl nearby but man this video was important in all our growth . I was glued in and props to everyone that talked there!❤️🔥
Confidence can be health related. I've been so confident that I've had people gravitate towards me at bars while I was the center of attention. Other times I don't even look people in the eyes. I figure it's when I'm not 100% feeling well.
@@JulienHimself Besides excuses, reasons do exist, believe it or not. It's called cause and effect and learning. Kids today think there are only excuses. Let's teach 'em.
I think charisma is something like your body moving smoothly with what you’re conveying. When you’re telling a story, there are parts that are shocking or amazing or baffling or surprising, and at those very moments, is where you change your tone and add pauses, and move your body according to how you feel that moment makes you want to move your body: that genuine movement is the real you. Like, if I wanted to convey how something so small did so much damage, I’d bring my index and thumb a centimeter apart, and move that position forward twice as if knocking on the air in sync with “so.. small..”; the ellipses exemplify pauses to convey my surprise; and the knocking movement exemplifying my amazement. For each person, the movement conveys something else. Hm, I’m really trying convey what charisma feels like and an idea came to mind. It’s like hearing a song you like, and when you start singing along, your body starts moving to its rhythm and melody. Except now it’s your story that’s driving you, not the song: your tone and pitch shift as if a melody at key moments of your story; your facial expressions change accordingly as well as your use of your hands and body.
Kudos for the creativity with these hypothetical scenarios. The impromptu nature defies rehearsal and forces you to stay present. The 'burn the boats' ideology you employ with attendees may draw critics for its brazen insistence on reinforcing a 'captive speaker' dynamic, but everyone there is by choice with mutual goals of witnessing and partaking in these kinds of brute force, transformative exchanges. A personally poignant piece of advice you mentioned is the importance of facing outward in body language and verbal intent. Especially your focus on the gaze as a tool for holding attention and 'keeping the channel of communication open' 6:03 highlights a struggle of mine. I find it hard to process and prepare speech while trying to manage other social gestures and cues simultaneously. It's as if the visual aspect monopolizes brain power and distracts such that I must glance away often to adequately imagine and respond appropriately. Might you have any weird or surprising hacks regarding eye contact's role as a component of charisma? Thanks genuinely for the wisdom that I'm sure many are getting real value from!
Thank you for this comment! As for eye contact, it is EXTREMELY important when it comes to charisma... And is the mainly used when it comes to 3rd layer of communication! Watch this video to learn more about the different channels of communication: ruclips.net/video/Z3RBpQQOL-U/видео.html

This content is so good, I’m listening, doing the exercises in the shower 😂 Such a cool exercise to have fun with. Video is also super entertaining because I get to see people experience a sort of rebirth. Thank you man 🙏
All of this is conditioned, it's why it's either so difficult or so easy, because you're trying to alter something thats beyond the conscious mind. It's interesting watching these people do them exercises, you can see the range of stifled'ness' - guy at the end; he got quite un-stifled after the physical movement / screaming but then right back in his head again after, especially when you asked him to walk and take it in Lmaooo. Reminds me of the Elliot Hulse stuff where he'd go batshit to break the 'neurotic holding patterns'.

Is ok to be uncool, is ok to be nervous, is ok to say dumb stuff, most will be forgotten next day and most people will love you or enjoy your presence as long as you're friendly, smile and talk to them.
Stop fearing and try hard and that relaxed, confident attitude should pop up on it's own and grow slowly without being forced.
I do agree with you. But also if you practice this long enough it will become your second nature and you will not worry or have anxiety anymore
@@moehead8257 hmm... true, but you can also say that having tasted that, having experienced that rather, you can know its possible for you to open up! ofc he is not going to change just like that, but he knows its possible, that goes a long way too

The thing I like about this video, is that there’s people my age recognizing the difficulty in socializing, and they’re working on that skill.
I love it. I know for a fact if you learn to communicate and get along with others and can socialize, you can go far in life. Having great relationships and learning so much about other people
I'm sold! because the charisma that came out of the girl that went last took her from "The cute shy girl" to "damn, she is hot!"...I'm for real too. Julien and Owen are creating a monster! Im tired of the only people that know how cool and fun I am to be around being people that "had to get to know me." What a waste of a bad ass. The most interesting man in the world will feel like a fraud when i come around.
You really helped that guy come out of his shell. He seems like a cool guy and he seemed way more confident at the end! Respect to both him and you for coaching him
Yes, he crushed it! Massive respect to him! 🙏
Incredible video. He started off “small” and timid. By the end he fully embraced his inner self !
Thanks! And yes, he crushed it!
The black dude was not a 10/10 but he definitely was A LOT better than the first few tries.
Also..
Its insane how i can sense the potential in him but he maybe doesn't see it in himself.
It makes me wonder about how i don't see the potential in myself.
If that makes sense.
😂
Compared to how he started out, he did a 10/10 job and CRUSHED it! But yes, we all have an infinite amount of potential within ourselves! 🙏
Nothing is ever truly a 10/10 as we can always improve, it’s only a 10/10 compared to yesterday as that’s character development in the making ❤
Yea I feel like he just didn’t quite get what was going on and was nervous. But once other started to get in the element he came out of his shell for sure.

Thanks Julian, you’re amazing bro! What i loved the most was seeing you help the first guy break through is limit. I could see how scared he was from his facial expression and body language. I was literally routing for him and was proud to see him progress in this short 12 mins video. Congrats to him !!
Add some purpose, 0:46min
People focus on what i need to to say. If you cant bring the humph, not good 1:32
Look at the person, play around the purposeful ness 6:43, deliver some speech but add some humph. What does it feel like? It took a lot of pratice to summon this 7:38min
1 loud as you can 8:07min
Put your body into it. Focus on the vibe, totality downwards
Damn this is so powerfull. You really help people forward man, you can tell. Simply awesome.

Great takeaway!
I used to be the first guy, the way he walk with his hands before his belly or whatever that pose is just like trying to shield himself. It just shows you that he is covering himself because of shame, not confident. I can't believe I've come a long way. Hope these people get through and live life they want.
Glad to hear you were able to break out of this! Congrats! 👊
Been a subscriber for a week and I am in love with your messages. I read Letting Go a while ago and it didn't hit home for me like other books have. Been studying you all day, I really appreciate what you are doing for people. I will be in front of my mirror tonight working on my umph!
Parallels to himself in his example too. “Regular man, working a regular job” parrelling a regular man, living his routine life “he hated his job” he hates / feels trapped in his routine.
All other people just talk about charisma. You put it work and actively coach it. This is amazing, thank you!
Wowww that shy guy became a LOT more confident and louder. Amazing 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Julien just dropping gold on a daily basis now. Your frame of reference nails so much detail and yet connects to a simplicity that every individual can tap into by simply giving themselves permission to express themselves from a deeper place in the ownership of being.
(Forgive my wordiness here but I find it helpful to try to articulate this stuff in words that can help my own ownership of inward knowledge)
Unlearning the restraining energies of our lives requires tapping into the unconditional nature we came into the world with & reidentifying ourselves with our childlike enthusiasm for life that we can now hold (as an adult) in a mature capacity for the deeper value judgements that become instinctive in mastering social dynamics.

When you compare it: First: 0:42 Second: 12:01 - it's amazing!
Thank you Julian, for showing us what was inside us the whole time!! 🙂
You're very welcome! Glad this was helpful! 🙏
Eyo Kermit?
Your just a Golden Human Being Julien,
Respect for the Work You do.

Confidence can be health related. I've been so confident that I've had people gravitate towards me at bars while I was the center of attention. Other times I don't even look people in the eyes. I figure it's when I'm not 100% feeling well.
Health is EXTREMELY important! However, one should still be able to feel confident regardless... Even when sick. No excuses. 😉

Incredible!! He doesn't seem the same person at the end! He would catch my attention for sure if he spoke like that in a bar
Except now it’s your story that’s driving you, not the song: your tone and pitch shift as if a melody at key moments of your story; your facial expressions change accordingly as well as your use of your hands and body.
you're putting people into actual situations and making them face their fears
Yes! Proactively trigger fear within in order to then LET GO of it! 🙏
Wow this guy is incredible with how he works with people
This is the process of naturalizing. That’s what to call the ‘humph’ and the only way is to practice it.

8:30 is an amazing piece on breaking out of the shells we put ourselves in.

Just let if flow, clear mind, feel it, act it, enjoy it! Then love it!
