Seen them 4x before and each show has been so unique and mind blowing. I will never get over this band. It's a life experience to see them live and I'm going again tonight!
Took my daughter to see TC at Summerfest in Milwaukee a few years ago. We got all worked up with the warm-up band and got front and center. The sun went down, the lights came on, the fog rolled in off of Lake Michigan and the show was ON! Such a great concert and an unforgettable night.
You know why ? Because people who listen to rock / metal generally have a great music taste. So whenever there is something good enough , you'll vibe to it
Groovy movin, but he's not actually playing a groovy bass line (for my taste, anyway) I'm a bass player, and I'm soo bored with music where the bass does basically nothing except mirror the kick drum ... (boom - boom - boom, boom - boom) sigh ...
Total timeless classic. Huge shout from America. Loving these guys and other trip hop style acts like Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky, Unkle, DJ Krush, HTDA, Allflaws
Feb, 2020 ... still watching and listening a few times a week or more. It’s not only the music, it’s watching fellow humans passionately digging the sounds they are making together as much as I am.
Superb content Thank you for this gem Sterling....Been a Thievery Corporation aficionado since the 90's love and respect towards Yoshi the kyoto ,Oskaka family Saed in Dubai Suhgar in Shiraz Iran and much love to East 67th street NYC ~~ DTLA Los Angeles 💢💢💯💯💥💥
Been listening to you since always. Was working in one caffe in hometown, lomg ago, was omly playing Thirvery Corporation year straight. Never get complain. People were enjoying it. Would say I have the best music ever. Thank you for making my life rich
Addicted to this song because of the rockin sitar... who knew a sitar could jam out like that?!? This song always gets me up and shakin. Thanks for the great groove
Thievery Corporation concert ticket: $50 Two double shots of Hennessy, beer: $100 To see Frank and Rob and listening to their different songs in awe of their multiple vocalists and to experience the whole Thievery Corporation thing you’ve been listening since ages, to breath in their tunes being amazed how much better they sound live, breathing in the vibe of the same air they are breathing performing for you bringing their very best art to you: priceless.
Hey.....cool man.😎😎😎 I feel like I'm back in the 60's. I wasn't old enough to understand the music then, But I'm sure lovin'it now. Peace, love and lava lamps.🎶🎶🎶
Just watched the movie "Side Effects" which has this song in it! I had to come here to visit who these talented people are! The music is hypnotic and alluring! And it's not every day that you can find a group with a sitar and just want to rock out! Love!
Check out Mdou Moctar and thank someone else for something else later. They don't use a Sitar, yet there is a sort of cultural universality to how they play electric guitar (and sing).
Rob Garza is kind of a contemporary Barry White in that he seems to be in love with the sound itself and he'll do whatever it takes to get the sound right. A band half as good as TC would hire a half-arsed sitar player or just do it with synth. But Garza and Hilton just do what it takes to make it unforgettable.
They made the Motor City vibrate 2 weeks ago. Most lumenaries blow thru town, do the set list, an encore, and its back to the hotel. Not TC. They knocked down the wall, took the audience wherever, and than went across the street clubbin', with the fans. Seasoned yet fresh, TC is as "tight" as any Motown group, and as tough as any Detroit garage band.
I love Thievery Corporation, they are an awesome band! But I had to laugh to myself when I read the comment about the sitar... honestly, it's nothing special... it's downright basic. Still, it fits the music, fits the vibe.
Step 1: smoke some weed Step 2: plug in some headphones Step 3: turn up the volume Step 4: watch this Step 5: die One of my favourite songs ever !!! 😍😍😍
Glorious. In person, Live and studio craft. Well done. Your vibration moves us all. Keep it going folks. Sitar and all. Thank you Thievery is Every-thing grand. Cheers! xo
You know you've heard something special when the live performance is better than the studio recording. What a band
I am a fucking consumer and I like it! Point
Seen them 4x before and each show has been so unique and mind blowing. I will never get over this band. It's a life experience to see them live and I'm going again tonight!
I fully agree.
Werd up
What a soundmaster at KEXP :)
That bassist is letting absolutely Everybody have some!!!
This and Facing East are the hidden gems of Thievery Corporation. Awesome songs.
This is just Oriental gold!
Salut Marius! 😂
This is an awesome song and KEXP has the most awesome version of them all!
DC 3000 and Tower Seven too. 👌
Thievery Corporation is an paradise on there own...no body is like them.
That dude looks like he was created specifically to play that instrument
3D printed for that exact purpose.
That bassist is in the feel zone!!
Beyond!
@@jitenmehra17 idk if its a joke going over my head but no it's not, thats Ashish Vyas on bass, Nawazuddin is an actor

Me too! Send help in a few days!
Let the bassline put you into trance, slow those biorhythms down and you will survive on pure harmonic energy for another week or 3
Jamming to this song on repeat at my desk at work. People are looking at me funny but i don't care :) Thievery gives me life :)
I get it!!! I'm doing the same at my home office.. I will keep hitting repeat.. ! I feel the same.. Put me instantly in a better mood. Much needed!

Grooviest bass player ever.

One of the greatest performances in years. A seminal song from a seminal band. Bonkers cool. I play it every day.
