It’s like a mix of a Nissan Juke & Suzuki Swift all in one.
Also they borrowed from Jaguar aswell.
So they design a car which is mixture of aston martin and suzuki baleno with advantage of boot space.

Well... I own a 99' ford puma (a sports car) and looking at this makes me sad. How the hell are they making an SUV out of a sports car, that just makes no sense to me.

as a ford fan who cares old puma? last years ford fair there were more c maxs than pumas eventho c max is a family carrier... so that means nobody literally nobody cares about puma in ford community. ford can upset %0.000001 percent of its customer base for the rest now crossovers makes money so ford naturally makes crossovers accept it or leave it...

I own an original Puma and love it for what it is. This is just garbage. If you made a new Puma which was in the same realm as the new MX5 I would buy one.. Keeping my pride and joy forever it seems. Such a shame you fell short on making a decent small coupe sports car. Again.
Now I'm just waiting a glorified Opel SUV named the "Tigra".....
Ford has a low market share in India but I think this model with all it's quirks and attention to detail, can sell like hotcakes.
The Endeavour (Everest SUV) has already set a benchmark for upmarket entry level SUVs in India, beating even the Toyota. I think with this, Ford would have a winner on their hands.

Figo and aspire are not that much good in looks and and practical things...your engines are the best engines both petrol and diesel compare to other cars...change ur looks of the car with adding some practical things and some aggressive price ...with ur same engine options...and see what happens...one example u already with your own model ford EcoSport.
They should consider bringing this to the US.
Ford clearly stated when they announced this that it will be European only.

@@PlamenTsokov I mean kinda. Yeah, do most of us wish half the crossovers released today were some form of sports/performance vehicle? Certainly, but it's not like these crossovers are terrible. They're safe, reliable, decent performing in some cases, and decent looking in some cases. Not to mention, their existence helps to fund things like the Mustang or the gt, including the new gt variant that will be revealed tomorrow. These crossovers are better than ever by far, and they're producing so much revenue that companies can develop niche enthuse cars that are better than ever. So although they are starting to flood the market, it could be worse.
The majority have families. Buying a coupe isn't even on my radar. Coupes do not sell well outside of luxury brands, practical family cars do. This is beautiful and practical, so it wins.
@@VengFPV Look i have nothing against the car itself. The thing ive got a problem with is its name. Ford could make as many crossovere as they want and i couldn't care less, but just don't use names so iconic for cars so boring.
Why almost every new car have to look like compact SUV or crossover ? Iam really disappointed with this design and decision to make a SUV out of sporty Puma.

If this car comes at near 12 lakhs then it will not survive
Because there are too much competitor like tata nexon, which is safest car of india according to NCAP and maruti brezza, mahindra xuv300, hyundai venue, creta and many more..
If this car'S base model start under 7 lakhs then i think it give though competition to other car makers and rise a level in under 10lakhs segment...

Sorry, will never be as beautiful as the original Ford puma, the coupe. A car that even today, after 20 years still extremely beautiful. Doesn't even look like it is so old.
Globally you make competition cars but why not in India. Even everything is good atleast in present cars.. you lag at marketing . Puma will be a hit in India

Fiesta Active isn't an SUV like Puma. EcoSport is a now very dated platform and design. Considering it is a close sibling to the 2009 Fiesta.
The car headlights looks a Porsche style or a like Aston Martin 😅when we see this car from side profile it looks like little bigger version of Nissan Micra😶

Why isn't Ford offering the Puma in the USA??? It would really make up for discontinuing the Focus here. Are they really that dead-set against selling cars here that the only one left is the Mustang?

Where does this fit segment wise? Its literally falling on top of the Ecosport and the Focus Active.

Like it, but it WON’T come to North America, just like when the first Puma came out, and all this about the cargo hole and versatility of the trunk, where is the spare tire? If I’m on the side of the road with a flat tire, a spare in the trunk is more useful than some hole I can fill with water that I’ll never use.
I'm a Ford man but this new Puma is not a Puma. Animal Pumas are sleek and fast whereas this Puma looks fat and dumpy. Ford did the same with the Cougar but to differentiate the new car from the old called it Kuga

Make the seatbelts in custom colors depending to the color of the car or let the customer choose. Think out of the box. No car maker has done this!

All these designs and sculptures for the car doesn't work in country like India... people just compromise to milages, ground clearance, Wi-Fi system More than that the re-sale value!

The thing I don't like about today's vehicles they lacked personality and originality. Each vehicle should have their owned unique look, unique personality, without having anything in common with other vehicles.
you people are way experienced in design engineering but still there is one defect from mock to prototype or(production model you people are showing)....mock has the (side mirrors) along with side pillars if u can see, but why this has separately fitted in prod model(side mirrors)??
Ford please bring this car to the U.S now! The Ecosport is not worthy of the Ford bade. You guys would not have the capacity to keep up with demand. Why should one have to live in Europe to drive Ford’s best vehicles?
