Something I've noticed in the Portuguese version is that on the line when Snufkin says he misses Moomintroll in the English version he says "I feel the same way as you" instead. Like, COME ON-
In the Norwegian dub snufkin says “Everything we did in summer” (Alt vi gjorde i sommer) in stead of “I think about our summer adventures” and I don’t have a statement I just Love them ❤❤❤
!! ikr see i'm personally under the assumption that he was about to say something along the lines of: "ik wil echt ook samen zijn" (i also really want to be together) i honestly cant really think of anything else that fits how he was setting the sentence up well enough
In the Swedish he uses a verb meaning "care/care about" and both make me scream, though in others he says "I really have to/need to/must" and honestly I do think that if the writers were to have him finish his sentence, it'd be something along the lines of "I really do need to/want to be/travel alone" :( BUT I also believe that the writers specifically didn't finish it so that the audience themselves can imagine he was gonna say something gay lol

so I’m not fluent in mandarin chinese but from what snufkin says in the confession scene he says ”姆明，你听我说” which reads “Moomin, Listen to me/listen to what I will say”. Basically hes about to say something important and he wants Moomin to pay attention. Next he says “我真的很-” so according to the subtitles its 的 but It can also be heard as 得. Both when combined with 真 either mean like very or really, the word 很 also means very or is adding emphasis on the next word so saying 我很喜欢你 would mean I really like you. Bc of the grammar it kind of leaves all the possibilities open he could be saying 我真的很想你” I really miss you, 我真的很(爱/喜欢)你, I really love/like you, or 抱歉 which is I am really sorry. The way he says listen up makes me think it’s not an apology or saying I miss you because he already said 我想你 earlier and to repeat it is kind of redundant. I really like you is probably the most likely thing he was going to say. TLDR: Snufkin was probably going to say I really like you.
