These videos are such a treat. Its an inside look at the quintessential "american dream". You have so much passion and care put into this business, turning the things you yourself enjoyed into a place where others can share that same enjoyment. All while showing how much hard work gets put into it and how the effort can truly be rewarded. It is genuinely inspiring and puts a smile on my face. I hope your business, channel and community keeps growing, you all deserve it.
Honestly loving this new channel, Dallas. Been following you off and on for awhile now, but I feel like it's all been leading up to this. I'm living my toy store owner dreams through you. Keep it up, I hope you can pull it off. Glad you're staff is all in too. I wish I worked there!
Absolutely loved being a part of this. You put together a fun, friendly tournament that still had some of the most tense competitive moments I’ve ever experienced playing the game. In other words, please do more of these!!
What an awesome event! Running a store and giving back to the community is an awesome thing and must feel outta this world. Good things come to those who keep going. ☝️🙌💪
Congratulations, Noah! I’m so glad it was a success. Just goes to show that Duck Duck Blue is much more than just a store. It’s an inspiration and the example of what hard work and passion can manifest. Much love Dallas and crew!
This was such a FUN video! The countdown to the tournament was super cool, and watching you make the trophies.... I knew they would look cool, but that was on a whole other level. Mario standing on the duck, and then the wheels. It turned out freaking AWESOME!!!! I also saw someone else in the comments suggest making a bigger trophy and keeping it at the toy store. Then, you could add the winners names on it each tournament. That's a great idea. Dallas, Lauren, and Team.... A BIG Congratulations on a FUN successful tournament. It looked like everyone had a really nice time. Also, congratulations to the winner and everyone who participated. Family fun events like that can make memories that last forever!!!! 🐤🐤🐤🐤
How about a Rubix Cube Tournament? Or some other puzzle type game? Not sure if possible but some kind of obstacle course in the parking lot would also be fun to watch.
Absolutely loved this video, man!!🤘👊🔥🔥🔥 Awesome tournament, and can't wait to see the hot wheels event🔥🔥🔥 What about a lego contest or tournament?? Best build wins or a team build event to see who is the fastest? Halloween Special- Costume Contest or a Trick or Trunk event with pumpkin carving??!🎃😁🖤🤘👊🔥🔥🔥
I try to watch a few collectors from Retro Rick / Pixel Game squad stuff , chase after the right price to even Pokemon card channels like CTR and pokerev...it's nice to see a smaller channel start off their store from humble beginnings as well as you and your staff seem really laid back and down to earth.
That was an awesome turn out! Great racing. Im super proud of the 1st and 2nd place winners. I know that just lit their worlds on fire man. Congratulations to both. Well done. Cant wait to see the Hot Wheels racing. Also Im pumped for the Podcasts!
I think you should get tables and do a pokemon card tournament and you can set up some of the games in the room for kids whos parents are in the tournament or people who have been knocked out but wanna hang around
Mario Kart was a solid first option as a universally loved video game. Congrats on the expanded space and the kickoff event! I dig the Hot Wheels option. Also like the Lego build competition mentioned already. What about a Memory game with rubber ducks in a pool?
Could do a Monopoly tournament.. and use themed monopoly sets that tie in to your store in some way, or make your own version of monopoly. Another idea, and its pretty easy/fast to setup is a Trivia tournament, maybe a Horror related trivia tournament for the upcoming Halloween season.
I like the idea of more than just video game tournaments , I’ve thought of Tech deck competition Pog tournament Corn hole Quarter flipping Smash bros on switch Rock paper scissors Dice rolling Toy/ video game knowledge jeopardy
Congratulations 1st ever DDB Tourney! Many more to come. Where I used to play they hold tcg's, now they also do beyblade. But whatever the next event will be, have extra people officiate, it'll be hard to do everything by youself. Have something thats also toy/collectible related for the next event.
Idea for future tournament trophies. Get artists and craftspeople to make and donate trophies based on you required themes. Give shout outs to them to promote their socials.
I work at a library and when we have events we put out these big blade banners on the highway. They say library event today on them and we get people just from the signs. We got them from 4 imprint and they've lasted for over 5 years now.
I would suggest Pokemon, but unfortunately, we learned the hard way with my retail stores. You need to be licensed to hold competitions for Pokemon even if they are unofficial You have to become a professor, I highly recommend it. We did it at each of our store locations
Being next month is October why not do a costume contest and for the twist have the costume theme be a rubber ducky or blue duck theme. It's shameless self promotion. You could possibly reach out to the local news to see if they would have any interest in doing a story on doing acts of kindness in your community. I just found your channel less than a month ago and I'm really enjoying it so far, keep up the great content and work. 🤘🤘 Where are you located again?
HEY Been watching you for a long, long time. Always enjoy your content, ideas & endevors. I just have to ask....are you & Lauren going to be parents? ☮️💜 from Wisconsin

Lego building contest would be fun. Give each person a bag of random Legos and each build something unique.
That would be cool!

Sooooo good!
Not sure why i had such an emotional reaction to this video, but i did. You're a good dude, brother.

Great job Connor and Noah! Love the crew and store you’ve put together Dallas! Proud to see you grow!
you should make one massive grand prize trophy, that gets kept in the shop on display. and you can add the champions names on it every tournament.
GREAT IDEA. 99% chance I do exactly that.
That was awesome wish I could go to your store

That would be cool.
Scavenger hunt with clues to solve to know what to look for.
I like that a lot!!
When I was a kid we’d play irl version of Candy land! We’d roll giant plush dice and have candy rewards. Mixed things up! Maybe something like that?
That was so damn awesome man! Stuff like this is what sets you apart from every other place. You're not just building a business, but an experience.
Yes! You totally get it.
