the best part of those shelves are that you can take the shelves off on the pegboard side and use it for pegboard items, you could even make shorter shelves with peg brackets for certain things, i'd think that may work better for games....maybe also you could use one in flea mrket booth if you didnt want to use all of them too
20:33 The wireless camera also presents the opportunity to do some random store streams of just a 6 hr span. Pink gorilla actually streams on twitch from the store via the DSkoopa channel I believe is the correct name. The camera is just there for the most part providing a live feed of the store with chat interaction but also the day to day of the business. Processing trades, transactions, interactions with customer, etc. Get the twitch/RUclips followers and concurrent viewership up, apply for partnership collect ad revenue etc and put it back into the store.
I think Blue, yellow, and pink for the shelves. That seems to be a recurring color scheme, and it fits the vibe of like 90's 80s theme. Its just nostalgic colors imo.
I would say it would be better to paint them the color of the consoles. Like Xbox green, PlayStation Blue. That way it would be easier for someone to find a specific console game.
Paint the gondola shelf colors that go with your shop but then attach a logo sign in the middle on the top of each shelf for what brand of games is on that gondola shelf
I’d paint them all a clean white so the games pop - the games are hard to see on the art/yellow walls - just my opinion - love the channel and content!!
I had a small shop years ago and when radio shack went out of business i got some of the tables the had. I loved them. Big, metal, red, just looked good for my spot. My store colors were red and yellow so fit perfectly. Those things were massive and so heavy though. I had help when I bought them but i had to load them into my store myself. And unload them when I closed my shop. Was insane, but im dumb and do everything myself haha. So i feel you man.
I love watching your videos, mainly because you don't try to flex like most of the creators on RUclips, like money is no object you try to get good deals on your merch that you stock your store with,by. Going to Goodwill and yard sales and share your finds with your viewers ...good luck with your store and everything you are trying to accomplish..
Love the vids. One of the things that I think might be really cool thematically for your show is something that my favorite Magic the Gathering shop had. They basically had this giant box of commons and sold 60 card build your own decks super cheap as a way of liquidating commons. We used to build random decks to play with as a way of doing some fun janky MTG gameplay that was far less powerful as a whole and great for new players. The more build your own type features you have in your store the better!
It also depends how you lift things also. Why not get furniture mover dollies (square wood pallet with wheels) to lift or dolly less?Or weight lifting back belts and gloves helped me alot with moving furniture/appliances and more in low staff retailers and weight lifting environment s.I was lucky to avoid injuries. But still get help if you can to not have lingering problems later.
If I may, make a potential suggestion, as of seeing the front of your store in this video, I noticed that the front facing roof of your business is a large blank canvas, excellent space for putting up banners, panels, signs, posters, etc, that would be highly noticeable against the backdrop of dark roofing tiles and facing outwards to potential customers and cars passing by. Cheers!
Those shelving units are awesome. Good to see that little blast from the past. Falling is not fun! Do not sue!
Yes Please Paint The New Shelves, Always Love Your Yellow.😊

You should paint the shelves yellow with a blue base

One of these days!!
The base is to hold its down so the don’t fall over and for stability
Paint them yellow yellow blue like the logo
The shelves are cool. Just don’t think they should house the games. Too much shelf space. Unless you can condense the shelves
❤️❤️
❤️❤️
Paint them blue like your funko shelves
Maybe!!
Those retail shelves are nice to have. Especially since they run like 500$ and up.
I lucked out then!

I want to get my 3-year-old nephew in to video gaming what are some of the best video games for 3-year-olds?
paw patrol and bluey! there are so many good well made games for kids on game pass. as an adult who has tired some of them.
Story of my life. I do that everyday on eBay lol
Right!?
For $6/ea I'd buy em all use what I can then disassemble the rest and store in the basement for a later point. That's cheap enough to justify
I heard them say 599 but I wasn't sure if that meant $5.99 ea. or $599 ea.? One price sounds to cheap and the other sounds to expensive?
Paint them the lighter color of the console
One day.
If you ever change your mind about what goes on those shelves you will regret playing them by console color.Make a signs if anything.
Whoa Indiana is the greatest state, not 1 shitty month ever 🤣
