But if you think this, it seems like you're ignoring the actual body of the work that is opm.....we are allowed to have favorites, but your basically changed the story in your head to fit your own outcome. He is neither the strongest or weakest character until observed. The best part is that it is the correct position at the right moments. perceived as the strongest when tested and perceived as weak when there is nothing happening(by the viewers and maybe other characters)
I think you're reaching....extremely far for that. I agree, people don't get the medium they are watching. They can watch something that makes fun of them and they have no idea they are being made fun of. They are even laughing along. most just call it a superposition. Usually you can leave that word out unless its like Quantum Tunneling. Where we already have tunneling. But super position is ONLY physics and thus quantum. Whilst tunneling is more than that. His power is to bluff, that is it. Even the show creator says King is not getting any new powers. So, you are reaching and not really paying attention to whats actually going on.

He's on a different level. The reason Atomic believes King can do this feat is because of Kings overwhelming presents and reputation combined with Atomic's overwhelming power and skill. What seems impossible to most is in the realm of the possible for Atomic. King is a S class with the rep of the "strongest", it shouldn't be a surprise he believes King is in the same realm as him.
King is basically an example of a crouching moron, hidden badass trope in every genre, because you never know there's a dangerous power lurking beneath the surface.
My fave character in OPM. Started writing a couple of chapters on King and his adventures with the S class heroes pre Saitama. Would be a dream to get them animated someday xD

This was by far my favorite thing in the whole web novel. I waited religiously for the manga and was not disappointed. Also another one of my favs is when he comes to the S class heroes meeting with food splatted all over himself because of Saitama and others in his house, but everyone else thought he was fightning monsters in the reatricted area where their lair's at, and his outfit was spilled with monster blood and remains, but didn't say anything to anyone and just went in there alone for the sake of others, making him the perfect hero. Or so everyone thought hahahaha even calmed the wrath of Handsome Mask eaening his respect which no one else has. I loved the baggled face of all the S class heroes while King was just there, thinking "why does this always happens to me..."
What if King actually did cut the apple as the Atomic samurai told himself? Since AS claims, he can see any cuts. Maybe is there any huge huge lurking plot twist about King besides Luck? How about if he is the actual source of all power of OPM verse? Even Saitama recognized KIng in very strange way as he only know the true secret of King. In other words, he bullshits the bullshit, to get out of situations.
