I tracked my car through the whole process which was brutal and even tracking it on JCT Portal and watched each car on the same hauler being dropped prior to mine being delivered.

Congratulations on your new Corvette..I got my first brand new, Z06 Corvette right off the show room floor, for real,, and it was a 50th,anvirsity melinaum yellow Z06 and it was only 4 weeks old the dealership only had it for a few days from the factory,,it was loaded with all the available options for the day,,, So I know the feeling that you are going through,, Yours is way more loaded than mine is, but it is a real blast to drive.. Enjoy it and miles of smiles,, that's what they said back when they were saying about the all new C-5's back then.. Alright it looks very nice.. By the way I still have it. I have kept it in my closed in, climent controlled carport when I'm not driving it for the last 17 years..They will last longer and stay looking better by keeping them out of the weather as much as possible. The rubber weather striping is still in like New condition and the inside still has that New car smell. Sometimes I have to go out to get in it just to breath in the new car smell that is still hanging with it.. I'm gone this time, so have a good day.
I paid right at MSRP. Nothing more but nothing less. I didn't want too but many people are paying over MSRP. Getting a discount on these things would be almost an impossible task. In fact, I know I can currently sell it for a profit if I wanted too!!
Beautiful vette you'll fall in love with the torch red my current vette is torch red before I bought that car I was never a red vette person but over a year of ownership I absolutely love the color. Carbon fiber really pops beautiful with the color slot more than if you got the orange

Thanks for the great video. Is it possible to do a segment on the wheel gap with the options you have? I have a C8 on order with the same options and I'm wondering if the Z51 with Mag Ride and the Front Lift has a big wheel gap or not. Many guys on C8 forums are talking about lowering the car 1/2 to 1 inch and I wanted to get your thoughts.
With the Z51 package you get adjustable coil overs which allow you to adjust the ride height about an inch. However with the front lift option you give up the manual ride height adjustment in the front.

Great looking car. I ordered the Sebring orange 3LT Z51 but I see you have the coloured stitching in yours. My dealership didn't think that was available for mine. So not sure what to expect now. I was 437X.. Crazy you have not received it yet. I do know I got lucky as I barely made the truck going out right after it was built. A few cars that came to my dealer were built first week of June.
It's a beauty! Several weeks ago I was watching a c8 video and the fellow said the exteteror body panels on it were not lined up and he made it seem as if that was normal for these cars. That rather shocked me, and so I would be interested in knowing if misaligned body panels are on your car?
I've seen 3 in person and 1 of them had a mis alignment of the right front bumper to fender. It's like with any car manufacturer some have issues others don't, those issues can be resolved with loosening the bolts and adjusting the panel alignment.
So many you tubers have modified there cars, Don't do it. Keep it stock for at least 2500 miles, & just do content on the car, Your New C8, Congrats, JB
Keep working your butt off and wait for them to devalue. If you have all your finances in order (emergency fund, retirement maxed, etc.) then go for it!

Do you think there should be a C8 registry to allow those who want to, to present their VIN and build and say a bit about the car with certain info on various delivery dates, etc.? For example, it causes me no alarm nor privacy issues to let people on a registry know my name; the date of my build; the date the dealer received it; my date of purchase and date I took delivery. These are the types of things a registry should have and not too much more. Perhaps if the car was built before or after the Covid-19 interuption, aw well. But like the statistical happening of the first year of the car which will eventually feed in with anyone with a C8. And for the sake of value of the site, it should be limited to C8's. AF

Did you guys pay $699 administration fee? that turned me away from Hendrix. KS doesn't have a legal limit but it seemed high; especially when MO has a max of $199
At $90k even this car is a bargain. Have you seen the option prices on a Porsche 911 let alone it's staggering base price? I still don't understand how GM, of all car companies, was able to pull this off!
It truly is. The car is just incredible at this price level. The interior is amazing and the way it drives is just perfection! I have yet to get it on the track, but I have high expectation for it. I am aware of the under steer though.
Porsche GT4 (which remember is an upgraded 718 Cayman) starts at $99,200 with NO Options and Porsche options prices are steep. I know, I’ve owned three of them.
wombat 73 comes down to what you’re looking for really. If you’re a driver looking for the best in handling then the 718 would be the way to go. The corvette is a very fast car with “pretty good” handling chops. But both would be a good time. No problem with either tbh. 👍🏻

Good choice to skip the alcantara inserts. They not only wear more quickly, they attract dirt more easily and are harder to clean.
Exactly! They do look cool, but in my opinion that would fade quickly and I wanted seats that would hold up great! No garage queen here!

5.3 Inches. Then you get another 2 inches with the lift system you can purchase.
