Here's some more What If ideas: - What if Jaco did his job - What if Goku fused with Tien (buu saga) - What if the Dragon Balls couldn't revive the Dead - What if every villain who dies gets reincarnated (not necessarily they'd be relevant to the story) - What if Raditz never landed on Earth (or anyone from space really) - What if the events regarding frieza and the Saiyans happened centuries earlier (or aka What if Goku was sent to Earth during the time of Mutaito/early) - What if Goten was born first - What if the U7 saiyans were like the U6 saiyans - What if Bardock and/or his Crew survived

Raditz would simply be a hindrance and get crushed by vegeta/the androids in the future. Although those are the main negatives. Not including the positives of course.

I see no problem with your power scaling, I really appreciate that you didn't go crazy with it, and you didn't go Zenkai crazy either. Too many people over rely on Zenkai's in their What If's, so I appreciate your restraint.

Your power scaling works here, because we know training with people helps you improve plus having access to gravity training only increases. I'm guessing Gohan has done some training in the gravity room, but nothing to much because he doesn't need to train, but I can see both Goku and Piccolo know that Gohan has a lot of potential. But oh man Vegeta and Nappa will have awake call coming when they come to Earth. Anyways a good start to a new series, and looking forward to the next part soon. What if suggestion: What if Gohan was the reincarnation of Bardock? (Basically Gohan been a bit more Saiyan like, but with a twisted. Plus I've seen some people do this kind of idea so I decide to throw this idea out. Finally If you know where Bardock is at then you know where Gine is at.)
I like the way you went about the power scaling of piccolo. Your method seems very thought out and could be considered legit. The only issue that I could really point out is that, most of the fighters were only able to push themselves into newer levels of power once they seen or experienced somebody else in that bracket
True, but piccolo was born with the ability to sense ki. He may not have seen the powers with his own eyes, but I'm certain that he felt it. Especially with everyone being confined to earth, it seems almost impossible that he wouldn't be exposed to it. At least, indirectly.
To be fair, though, ki sensing was introduced only an arc or so before that. So it might be reasonable to assume their skills weren't that sharp yet. Either way works I suppose
What if Chi-Chi(37 years old - a few days after May 8, Age 774) used the Dragon Balls to make her self younger by 17 years, along with wishing for the Zenkai boost ability? She can use one year to train with King Kai learning the Kaio-ken, the other year she can be on the planet Yardrat and learning from the Yardratians. There Chi-Chi learns Cloning(similar to Naruto's multi Shadow clone Jutsu technique) for 3 months, Healing for another 3 months, Forced Spirit Fission for again another 3 months, and finally for the last 2 1/2 months she learns Instant Transmission. And what if Chi-Chi also spent some time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for 2 days = 2 years, and with a gravity chamber capsule? How strong do you think Chi-Chi would be after this intense Training?
The ultimate rivals finally get their proper shine. Plus the while Z team is getting ungodly gains, the thought that yamcha could've taken raditz is both fitting and hilarious

You put such thought into details and make such a simple premise fun. The dialogue is great. Yo, 14:50. That direct callback to Resurrection F Vegeta's line to Frieza! The way you made Piccolo sound was pure badass, also DADDY PICKLE. With Goku and Piccolo having 100x Gravity Training in prep for the Saiyans, this should easily be a wash for the Saiyans. If a few days was enough to bolster Goku up to the near hundreds for Namek, then a year should definitely get them really high. Even if it is on and off training. I imagine you won't leave the Humans out, since they basically start at nearly their Saiyan Saga power levels and they have an effective method of training. Then again, I'm not sure how you'll handle the Saiyans since washing them and just killing them off seems rather easy. I'm very intrigued where you go with the next part. Hey, for once somebody noticed Piccolo’s insane gains. I know Gohan’s supposed to have the most potential, I think Piccolo comes in second though as far as potential goes. Give him kaioken and he’d take out all those foes except Beerus.

Liked this a lot, I wonder if they'll get strong enough to face down Frieza without even using kaioken? While I do think Goku being dismissive of his friends is something better reserved for once we're in Dragonball Super, I fully believe Goku would get angry that his friends saved his life in a fair fight so long as the world wasn't at stake (as it was in the Vegeta fight). Can't wait for part 2!

Turning into a great ape increases your power by x10. You use a lot of ki making a power ball but your power level doesn't drop
