picked up my first bottle of reyka a couple months ago, been grabbing a bottle every other week or two since. i've noticed the shelf space for them is decreasing too. when its out for the season, i will be looking forward to their next batch. its some fine vodka for sure!
ohh so they do not make there own mash or distillate?? the distillate comes from scotland and is redistilled here? so what contributions are they making other than running it through lava rocks? i heard they use wheat and barley and i thought this was imported but now i see they import the finished distillate,,no wonder its a small distillery

Love Reyka. It’s my go-to vodka. I’m a bartender and I spend a lot of time around high end vodkas making cocktails. Reyka can definitely hold it’s own against brands that are twice as expensive.
I discovered Reyka vodka while in Iceland but did not get to see the setup, will def make it a place to visit when we go back to Iceland, the vodka was brilliant and I was able to find a replacement bottle in a supermarket here in U.K, the vodka keeps a full flavour with no heads taste of apple or the burn, sweetness that can come from neutral spirts, very smooth mouth fell I dont believe that they use glycerin which is brilliant and rare, highly recommend this to anyone who is into vodka, you can keep your grey goose ;) if your ever looking a distiller give me a call would love to work with this idstillate.
I just picked up a bottle and went to take a big wiff as soon as I opened the bottle and I’ve never smelt a more pure vodka- I’ll always buy this until I can’t
I hope Reyka keeps to their method regardless of their growth

You would be shocked how many distilleries do not make their own neutral, but its a science all of its own.
@@Mike-qd6lb it can be very disappointing when in the end all you have is a name to stand behind and nothing really proprietary or self made
