Yay the video is out! I do have all 18 and finished 12 of them so far. I still have only done round puzzles. 😅. I have yet to do an actual traditional one. I’ve done 4 from each year. Fruits and Vegetables is up next. So far Pizza and Rainbow cake have been the hardest. The second year has colored concentric rings, which make the colors a little uneven. I got stuck as the green transitioned into blue. I did exactly what you did Liza. I had to build the outer two ring layers and fill in the rest. I was applauding when I saw you didn’t even have to do that with Rainbow Cake. Took me over 8 hours straight puzzling to finish! I also had to laugh at Tropical missing a piece because of a duplicate. I didn’t have another piece missing though, but I swear we were missing the exact SAME piece due to a duplicate!!! I wonder if we had the same duplicate too. 😮. Told Ravensburger about it, got another round puzzle from their catalog (USA doesn’t carry Tropical so I couldn’t get that one). Got a refund from Amazon. And ordered it again. This time it was complete. Crazy.
Which one was your duplicate? 🙂 Let me know. I would love to tell you if that's the same one. You're doing great with those puzzles. Looking forward to see the rest of them
I have been enjoying the Circle puzzles. Of the 18 I have there are still four to do and time. I don't bother with the poster, far too large, an A4 poster would be fine. I just use the box lid for the image. Like you I found the Rainbow Cake one hard to do, it took me 4hrs 32mins & 20secs to do. My fastest to date is the Candies one, 1hr 43mins 4secs. The Seashells one seems to be heavily pink, red & orange and not much of the other colours. I wonder how many of these puzzles Ravensburger intends to churn out??
Oh and my best friend (who’s borrowing Insects and Flowers) sent me images of his progress and he’s building the puzzle on TOP of the poster! The cheat 😂
Ohhh I love the big poster! I really hope they don't listen to you guys here 😅 I don't use it for doing the puzzle, the box top is fine for that. But I hang it up and have the image without having to glue the puzzle 😊 it's great decoration for kids rooms.
I prefer the posters in the UK 500 piece puzzles - A4 with a picture, artist info, and some small pictures of other similar puzzles. I can easily use those, and I like knowing about the artist.
I think your opinion is the most common one about the posters. I really hope that in case that ravensburger decide to have posters they take that into consideration
@@PuzzlesByLiza Have you had problems with the closure stickers damaging the box when you peel them off? I just started the mushroom puzzle and found that they pull off the gloss finish. 😢
@@craft_galat the beginning I was peeling them off. Now I'm just cutting them. I found that it's much better and easier to do. I'm not a huge fan of the stickers anyway
Great video. love circular puzzles, but for some reason the circle of colours isn't wow'in me. The 2024 ones does look a lot more interesting than the food ones. The Insect one I'm sure will find a home on my shelf. When it comes to posters I don't care that much for it, if I need to look at the image I look at the box. But if Ravensburger-rest-of-the-world, did like Ravensburger UK I would be happy. Those huge ones I don't even pick out of the box. It's too big for a 500 pcs, if it were 5000 I would understand. Come think about it, a 5000 circular puzzle would be kinda fun
The huge poster makes zero sense to me. My favorite one in this video is definitely Mushrooms. Maybe because I loved "Beautiful Mushrooms" by Nathanael Mortensen like you did?
If the poster needs be folded into fours, it’s too big and useless. I would prefer a poster that fits into the size of the box without folding. If it needs to fold, no more than a halffold

Good luck with the next four. I don't think we can know what is the plan forward with these. I guess we're going to find out.

@@PuzzlesByLiza I cut the stickers, then peel them off because I don't like the sticky edge of the sticker. Yes, I'm making work for my self! :D

There's a good chance that it did affect us in that way. Nathanael's mushrooms are amazing.
I don't even bother taking the big poster out of the box. An A4 or letter sized poster would be much more useful.
I guess that's very unfortunate that Ravensburger printed a poster that is not useful to the people that put the puzzle together
