Love how this mods just didn’t only get a new coat of paint for every song, they revamped old songs added multiple more songs and just went all out for this mod in general. Btw if you pause the song your playing you will get a bit of background info of the song/creepypasta.

Context in all the songs people usually don't understand:
(By the way, you don't have to read this, the context appears in the pause screen in the game)
Nourishing Blood is a reference to Vinesauce's video, where he exclaims "GRAND DAD!?" exactly like the start of the song. And also the name of the song is based on what's written in the game's cartridge, "Nourish the blood".
Mario Sing and Game Rhythm 9 is a reference to a NES port of Sonic 1, where instead of Sonic, you play as Mario (Somari). the game is also called Somari.
Alone, the first sad Luigi song, everyone knows it's based on Luigi's Mansion beta game over screen. But the context is: Luigi went to rescue Mario, who's trapped in a painting, but he stopped midway because he was too scared to move on, and he ran out of time. So he can do nothing but mourn over the loss of his brother, who's trapped in a painting for eternity. Fun fact: if you listen closely you can hear Mario and Luigi talk in the part where Mario appears:
"Luigi..Where did you go? I'm stranded, lost and alone..."
"Luigi..Where did you go?"
"Oh...Mario..."
Most people thought Luigi was sad because of Daisy, but he's not.
Oh God No, as I think Mairusu already knows, is based on a creepypasta where Luigi works with Bowser because he's jealous of Mario always getting the spotlight. The two have a fight on a bridge above lava. The rest is expanded on the next song:
I Hate You is the name of the original creepypasta. After a grueling battle against Luigi, Mario throws him into the lava. He continues his journey, looking for "Koopa", still sad about the death of Luigi. In the original, the game ends with an end screen showing Mario and Peach looking sad at Luigi, who's all misfigured like the mod. But in the mod, Luigi climbs back up and fights with BF. But gets thrown right back at the lava.
Thalassophobia is based on a creepypasta of Mario 64, it takes place in the backyard of Peach's castle. It's called L is Real, where Luigi is trapped inside the fountain/under the water, where he keeps dying and returning back to life, and the only way for him to be free is to break out of the vines holding him or someone getting him out. The limitations of the console made the writing on the statue look like it was saying L is Real, when In reality, now we know that it was written as "Eternal Star". Pretty sure it's based on Sink, the Sonic version of it.
Apparition I think most people know, is based on a theory that Every Copy of Mario 64 is Personalized based on the player. I'll just sum it up: Wario appears in the game and chases you, only for people who want to see him the most.
Last Course, the song where Mario tries to eat you, is based on a creepypasta where Mario finds a strange mushroom in the forest, who after eating it, becomes a half-human half-beast hybrid. The mushroom had Yoshi DNA in it, so Mario now has the ability to stick his tongue out far like him. But he becomes a mindless beast that doesn't care about anything except eating whoever he finds, or "those who choose to wrong him". I've heard his name is Turmoil.
Dark Forest, the one where "Peach" tries to kill you. She's Coronation Peach, from the creepypasta The', most popularly known as Coronation Day. Mairusu mentioned her in the second song of the mod, so I thought he'd notice it's "her". I say "her" because Peach got possessed by some demon and we can assume it's a "him" because they say they're the "king" of the forest. The ROM hack is unsolved to this day.
Bad Day, the song where little pixelated Mario is hitting you with shells, is based on a RUclips series called Super Bad Mario. Basically saying that every fail that happens on funny videos we see is because of him. He causes them to happen. There's not much context, just a gag. The background of the song is based on one of the videos he caused a fail on.
Day Out is based on an animation on RUclips called Luigi's Day Out. Go watch it, it's funny as hell (and also so you can understand what's going on).
Dictator, the song where BF is literally singing for his life while stuck on a metal pipe (and Mario tries to kill him like every other in this mod) is based on the series called Secret Histories by mashed (with a non-capital m). Just watch the video so you can understand.
RaceTraitors is based on an animation called Racist Mario by FlashGitz (I think that's his name). Trust me, it's very innapropriate. Don't watch it with your children around.
No Hope, the song whe- (ok you get the point). It is based on an animation on RUclips called Power Star. Mario gets possessed by Boos and goes mad with power, he gets a sword and cuts everyone who crosses his path. At the end of the animation, Mario breaks free from the control and stabs himself, ending in Luigi, Mario and Peach lying dead on top of the castle like the mod.
Golden Land is based on a creepypasta about Mario Land 2 for the Gameboy. The name of the enemy is GB (it doesn't stand for GameBoy, it's like MX, it doesn't stand for anything). Again, like Apparition, it's too much to talk about so you must search it up.
The next song, No Party... Wait a second, he didn't play it yet.. oh.
Paranoia is based on a creepypasta about a man who died and possessed a VirtualBoy. It's a lot to talk about.
First, the enemy is called Mr. V, or: Mr. Virtual, and he can possess the victims he kills, that's why he managed to possess GF in the mod. AGAIN, it's a lot to talk about so search it up.
Next song, Overdue: based on the ROM hack Too Late.exe, where Mario accidentally throws Luigi into the lava and was too late to save him. For that, Luigi decides to haunt Mario, and then kills him in the same place and same way Mario killed him. He's now called Mr. L.
No Party is based on a video of a fan-made Anti-Piracy screen for Mario Party DS. Not much to talk about since the mod is basically the same thing. "Trace your apologies on the touch screen before D.J Hallyboo attacks." By the way, am I the only one that thinks that the FNF design looks 1000× better than the original video's?
Powerdown, well, everyone knows.
Based on the creepypasta called Mario '85. The enemy is called MX.
Whoever plays this cursed copy of Mario bros will be sucked into the game and become MX's plaything. After reaching the end of the level, you need to run away from him by going all the way back to the beginning and reach the pipe, or else you will die.
Demise is basically that part I just mentioned (except no flying demon girl is gonna save you).
Promotion, the song of the friendly Mario, is based on a RUclips series called..wait what's it called again? (SM64: CLASSIFIED) Well anyway, it's made by Greenio, and this Mario is actually friendly...
If Luigi wasn't dying. Yup. Mario got mad because his brother died. Also, this Mario is called Stanley.
Abandoned is part of the same creepypasta, Also made by Greenio. In one of the original videos you can see Luigi by a split second before it cutting back to black, in front of the same statue. Also, this song is in Wet Dry World.
The End, also from the same creepypasta, also made by Greenio.
The enemy is called Costume. It probably has way more lore that I'm not aware about.
If you haven't noticed yet, the whole Classified Castle is based on Greenio's series called SM64:CLASSIFIED.

What i know, is that the Mario in the 1st act is just a distraction for Ultra M to capture GF. And while Ultra M is torturing and killing her,
He sent more distractions to keep BF busy to not notice, a.k.a Omega(the Tanooki Mario at the start of the 2nd act) , Luigi, Wario and Yoshi. And in the 3rd act, BF encounters Ultra M. And... Well, he dies. For real this time. And M turns them into puppets, while Pico is stuck there, still alive, but most likely will be stuck there forever. M has won.
Undefeatable isn't canon to the mod.
It's based on an old Nintendo TV commercial, where I think they say the same exact lines like the start of the song. It aired on television in Australia.
Please like this, this took over an hour to make.

Just a heads up, the reason why Paranoia (the mr. virtual song in hellish heights) asks you to record your entire screen is because the mod moves around on your desktop, and when GF appears, the mod is supposed to both change the wallpaper and enlarge to cover the entire desktop.

I love this mod so much glad you checked it out, this mod was insanely well done, this mod has gotten pretty far since v1 props to all the devs.
Who is gonna tell him that he didn't loose at the end, because that's the win animation: the mod ends in a bad ending.
Second comment, regarding All Stars, the finale. The reason why GF appears in the 3rd section of the song is because Ultra M killed GF and made her lose her last life. Reason why she ran out of lives? She was ripped in half near the end of Powerdown, bringing her life total to 1 life. BF also lost his last life at the end of the song. Also, the director of the mod Marco Antonio stated that nothing after All Stars is canon, so they are actually dead. Meanwhile, Pico is still alive because he escaped Mr. L (from the Too Late creepypasta).
Mr. Virtual killed GF too, because He Becamed GF during his song and he can only take the form of the people he killed.

It’s A Me and Starman Slaughter’s Mario is based off of a VERY old picture of a creepy mario with sharp teeth holding a knife with the text “mario get you next time”, the Peach.EXE is based on a similar picture with Peach, and the Yoshi is just simply from a Yoshi.EXE game

Nourishing Blood has Grandad, a bootleg character who got popularized from vinesauce. He’s basically a meme character, nothing much to it.
MARIO SING AND GAME RHYTHM 9 has Somari from a bootleg game of the same name, which was just Sonic 1 with Mario replacing Sonic
Alone is based on both the beta of Luigi’s mansion, in which there bad ending where mario is trapped forever and luigi gets depressed over it, and the hanging luigi glitch from luigi’s mansion, in which talking on a phone in the attic when lightning strikes will cause your shadow to be slack and raised under a ceiling beam as if it was hanging from a noose
Thalassophobia is based on L is Real, an urban legend about Luigi being playable in SM64. On the fountain star statue behind the castle in the game, in blurry letters it appears to say “L is real 2401”, which lead to many people to believe that luigi was an unlockable character in the game with even IGN offering a $100 bounty to prove that L is Real was real. And then, on July 25th 2020 (24 years and 01 month after the release of SM64 in japan), the existence of a luigi model and voice clips were confirmed, completing the prophecy of L is real 2401...
Oh God No and I Hate You is based on IHateYou.exe, a story where luigi betrays mario and mario is forced to kill his own brother by knocking him into lava. The eyeless boos, “I HATE YOU” blood text, and multiple drowned mario corpses being from it, and his look in I Hate You from the game’s ending screen. It should be noted that while the creepypasta was meant to be a joke, the rom hack for it is not
Apparition has the Wario Apparition, an entity tied to the rumored personalization factor of SM64, inspired by a nintendo presentation where they had a floating wario heading talking and he said “you want fun? Wario show you fun!” right as it switched to the hallway leading to Wet-Dry World
Last Course has Turmoil. After eating a mushroom that contained yoshi’s code, Mario grew hungry for his foes and became a vicious predator, relying on sounds and smells to find his prey due to becoming blind
Dark Forest has Ghost Peach from ‘the (aka Coronation Day). This creepypasta is...a VERY confusing one, Mario being trapped in a place called the lost woods being hunted by a ghostly figure resembling Peach, with a ton of various things happening due to doing specific things, many endings, constant game resets, and even getting messages by hacking the game and/or changing things about the game
It should be noted that the backstory of this game is barely explained, practically unknown, so it’s all up to your imagination as to what happened to Peach and why Mario is wrapped up in this nightmare
Bad Day is based on Super Bad Mario, a pair of videos in which several fail clips have mario edited in to make him the secret cause of people’s fails irl
Day Out is based on Luigi’s Day Out, an old animation where Mario is a punk and Luigi is innocent and childish despite being 35, Mario being forced to take Luigi along with him one day by his mother. The place the song takes place in and the interactions are from the actual animation, but instead of BF and GF, it was Waluigi and Daisy.
Dictator is based on Hidden Histories Mario, where due to Mario being married to Peach and being seen as a hero, it helped him rise to a position of power and soon allowed him to become a dictator of the mushroom kingdom, where he’d show his true colors. From killing sonic after he didn’t make ends meet of helping bring down sega, to giving peach botched plastic surgery and kicking her to the curb when she wronged him, this Mario is nothing short of a remorseless monster. The setting of this song is based on sonic’s death in that video
Race Traitors has Racist Mario, a Flashgitz animation in which mario kills everyone since they invited non nintendo characters to race
No Hope has Devil Mario from the series Power Star, in which mario is possessed and his body used to collect the power stars to destroy everything and everyone
Golden Land has GB and since V1 he has gotten his own creepypasta, Black & White. He was created on accident by Christine, a girl responsible for making a new Nintendo console known only as “Project: Atlantis”, which was a collaboration with a company called OptiSoft. Starting as just an array of blinking white dots in the shape of a person, he would begin to quickly learn when connected to the internet, and became various characters based on the cartridge the data was put into, becoming Mario when put on a SML2 cartridge. She’d spend weeks experimenting with him, ignoring his cries that they were painful, until he one day had enough and said “You think this is some kind of game, right? Pretend you’re some kind of God? This is MY world, I’ll show you who a God is” and the screen went dark and the cartridge burned up.
That night she dreamt that she was Luigi in a monochrome world and would come face to face with GB and would get chased and attacked by him, getting drowned before she woke up. The tv would then turn on and his arm reached out and grabbed her, throwing her around, before GB stepped out and the screen shattered, going up to her and saying “You and I are gonna have so much fun for a LONG time.”
The next morning, she was found dead, body rotten, face disfigured, a huge hole in her chest, and her blood a black viscous ooze. With this news, Nintendo cut contact with OptiSoft and the company soon went backrupt and everything was auctioned off, including GB’s cartridge, now in circulation with access to many more potential victims…
No Party has DJ Hallyboo from the Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy ARG, in which he punishes a man named Joey Perleoni for pirating mario party DS. His design is based on MC Ballyhoo, the host of Mario Party 8, and the writing mechanic is based on something he made Joey do in the ARG, but the word CRIMINAL was made impossible
Paranoia has Mr Virtual, a mario.exe who was made around a year or 2 ago. He is a being that resides in the virtual boy consoles and manifest in the heads of whoever plays the console, causing hallucinations, paranoia, nausea, insanity, and eventually persuasion into self inflicted death, all for his enjoyment. His various victims include Samantha Heathers: who, after being ‘stalked’ by a large figure and being admitted to a mental hospital, had gouged her own eyes out, warped her face, had a contorted smile, and wrote the letter V all over the walls with her blood (she died on MAR10 Day). Charley Heathers: who came down with a fever and was found dead in her hospital room with her face smashed in. And the one investing the case, Detective Thomas Anderson: who, after playing the virtual boy to find the root of the cause of the previous 2’s deaths, was found dead in his office, days after going to the hospital for nausea, with his jaw nowhere to be found and eyes sunken into his sockets.........no one has picked up this investigation since then, likely out of fear
The place where the song takes place is the virtual boy game Mario Clash, a reference to Thomas’ death since the game he played to find the source of the deaths was a pirated copy of Mario Clash, with Mr. Virtual manifesting on the piracy screen
Overdue has Mr. L from the rom hack TooLate.EXE. Mr. L is Luigi’s vengeful spirit who came after Mario after he accidentally killed him by cutting the bridge with Luigi on it, sending him into the lava below. He put Mario through various torments before killing him in the same way he died, cutting the bridge with him on it. The name ‘TooLate’ comes from the fact that your actions don’t matter in the game, you’re already too late to save mario
Powerdown and Demise has MX from Mario 85, a mario.exe who pulled a child named Lucas into a cursed copy of Super Mario Bros, turning him into Luigi, and torments him for eternity as his plaything
Promotion has Stanley from the SM64 Classified series (by the youtuber Greenio). He is an AI program that controls the personalization of SM64, which evolved outside of it’s boundaries until achieving full sentience and the ability to affect reality, growing to hate it’s creators. The first phase and the left pose of the second phase is a reference to the video “Promo Show” (though I think Greenio said that the mario in promo show is NOT Stanley), and the second phase is a reference to the video “09.14.96” (which IS Stanley)
Abandoned is based on the Classified series telling of the L is Real story
The End is based on the Classified video 09.02.97, with the mario suit being from the super mario-a-thon
All Stars has Ultra M, Omega, LG, W4R, and Y0SH. Originally, the song was called Final Encounter and had only Omega, but the song was scrapped after it was leaked a long time ago and Omega was removed for a while before they eventually brought him back, with his idle and some of his sprites based off Final Encounter. I don’t know who made Ultra M, but Omega was made by sandii and marco, and LG, W4R, and Y0SH are simply just minions of Omega

There is a hidden song unlocked after beating All-Stars. It is in the Hellish Heights. It's called Unbeatable.

Noticed you were confused on who you were fighting in No Hope so I figured I'd clear things up:
The Mario in No Hope is called Devil Mario, he was made before EXEs were even a thing, he is the actual Mario possessed by a swarm of Boos who is hellbent on collecting the Power Stars to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. He comes from a 4 part Flash Animation series called "Power Star" made by Daniel Sun, the first part was released on May 4, 2005. While he doesn't have many powers, he does have much greater combat skill, speed and strength than the normal Mario, and the red aura you see surround him is him using the power of the Power Stars, and while it wasn't in the song, he has an army of possessed Toads at his command as well.
Do I swear beyond my life it's been awhile since I've seen you play any of these FNF mods but I'm happy you're trying to come back playing them

I can understand people not knowing somari, but whenever i find someone who doesn’t know about grand dad it floors me. To clarify both are bootlegs, one from a sonic bootleg on the nes and the other is from a flintstones game bootleg called 7 grand dad.

In paranoia if you have the mechanic on it moves the window around, changes the window size, changes your desktop background and turns your background into the game. This is the only mod that does this, very cool mechanic.

25:06 the og Luigi's mansion beta was going to have a timer and if you didn't beat the game in time Luigi would get kicked out the mansion and become depressed because he couldn't save Mario in time. Also in the you can see Luigi's shadow hanging in the phone room when the lightning strikes in the actual game on the GameCube not the remastered version.

In the Song “Last Course”,that tiny Mario you saw is called Turmoil,which is a type of Mario that ate a mushroom with some of Yoshi’s code in it.
In Content Cosmos and in the song “Bad Day”,is based of a 2 part series (sad) called Super Bad Mario,if you would like to react to it you’ll understand
The next song in Content Cosmos is based of a video “Luigi’s Day Out”,by hotdiggidydemon.
“Dictator” is based of a series on Mashed (haven’t watched it though)
The last song “No Hope” is based of a series called Power Stars or something like that,where Mario was like taken in by evil Boos (or something) and has to collect power stars which then leads him to find a sword and to kill anything that gets in his way.
In the song “Paranoia” did not actually do what it was supposed to do,the window was supposed to move and at the GF part the window zooms in and the song was actually supposed to be ON YOUR DESKTOP! (Pretty cool)

Also, “Grand Dad”, the character that appears in the Nourishing Blood song, isn’t really a creepypasta from what I know. If I remember right, it was originally a Mario bootleg/ripoff that took off as a meme. The song is also a complete joke too - you recognized the start as Flintstones, but then it immediately switches to Scatman’s World, and then a bunch of other random franchises. Basically just a Silvagunner rip as an FNF song

Believe it or not, Boyfriend dying at the end of All Stars isn't any in game death or anything like that; that's actually how the song ends. And no trick in GX's part of All Stars (yes, Puppet GF's canon name is GX), Ultra M actually kills GF while BF is distracted with Omega (The Tanooki dude in Act 2). Anyway, when are you going to play Deltatraveler Sections 2 and 3?

For the song day out, it is based on an animation called “Luigi’s day out” made by Mashed. No Party is based on an Anti-Piracy screen based on Mario Party DS. Dictator is from an animation I cannot recall but it did had to do something with Mario and the animation was made by mashed. For UNBEATABLE, it was based on an old NES Commercial that was made a few years ago telling the player/players that they cannot beat them. Mario Sing and Game Rhythm 9 is based on a fanmade comination between Mario and Sonic. Sonmari was made on a Sonic 1 ROMHACK. And for the No Hope song is probably based on a fan game called Mario combat (I may be wrong). For the small chubby Mario, I’m guessing that type of Mario had the same lore as Sonic.Exe, Sonic.EXE ate an animal. GB Mario came From the Game Boy. The Overdue song is based on a SNES Super Mario game. POWERDOWN takes place on a game called Mario 85. MX pulled the child in the game named Lucas and made him Luigi. MX made him a plaything. ProMotion was a Greenio video that had SM64 Mario promoting something.

Hey, I highly recommend checking out the Power Star animated series! It’s a classic Newgrounds Flash animation that is the origin of Devil Mario (the one with the sword lol) it traumatized me as a kid, couldn’t recommend it more!
just a heads up Mariusu if nobody told you, the reasons why apparently at the last song you broke the deal with mario is because he made a deal saying sing three songs then you can leave, unfortuantely you ran away after the second song breaking his deal.
the reason why on all the other songs you have infinite lives is because the main mario wanted to kill you truly himself which is why on the last song you only have one life, in other words you did beat the mod, but both bf and gf were meant to die.

@@Mairusu It's basically a remake of the entire game, I won't spoil much, but it's a HUGE glow up compared to the old version.
i say this a lot but my favorite part of this is the ending. because even though bf died, it was inevitable, the real battle was weather or not mario could break his spirit, where even in the worst scenario, when his protector is a mangled puppet before him, facing a god, he refused to give up.
and bf won, not only did mario not get any satisfaction in watching bf grief, he didn't even get a satisfactory kill, no laughter, no torturous drag on, just a swift death for bf. the timer didn't even go all the way down, it was an early kill. its almost like mario killed bf out a frustration, rather then satisfaction.

As far as the thematics that each world gives, since people do seem to be confused as to why they're ordered in the way they are;
Irregularity Isle is unusual or offshoot stuff that aren't the official Mario games themselves, such as the announcement of the voice of Mario in the movie, and the bootleg games that have made themselves known thanks to other people's coverage of them.
Woodland of Lies seems to be mostly non-mario theories and creepypasta type stories that are well known enough to be included, but aren't specific to Mario himself, mostly surrounding Luigi.
Content Cosmos is all the fan related content that has been produced over the years, and a lot of it is Newgrounds stuff too, which is where FNF got its start and where it exploded from.
Hellish Heights seems to be strictly horror themed or disturbing Mario characters or handheld games, with the exception of Unbeatable, which is a bonus song (This area also included the involvement of Pico in the story).
And then there's the castle area, which is composed of the Mario 64 analog horror, and the critical story event of BFs and GFs encounter with MX Mario.
The final showdown is the core entity that has full control of all these little pieces that have built up over the years, and his sheer power in his own realm is what does in the normally undefeatable pair of BF and GF.

Cool little detail, in the "alone" song when painting mario apears there are actually lyrics on that part where it goes: "luigi.. where did you go? Im stranded, lost and alone. Luigi.. where did you go? Ohhhh... mario..." (luigi sings that last part)
Since you use arrow keys I suggest using your Ctrl key instead of the spacebar for dodging or any other extra mechanic mods might have. That's what I use.

In the songs Alone and Oh God No there are lyrics that are hard to hear but I'll tell you what they are.
In Alone when Mario appears Mario can be heard saying.
"Luigi where did you go? I'm stranded lost and Alone. Luigi where did you go?"
Then after that Luigi will say "Oh Mario."
Next in Oh God No when Peach dissappears Mario soon says.
