- I Finally Watched the Mario Animation series "Power Star" and it's Brutal... AND Heartbreraking! Since playing the Friday Night Funkin' Mario's Madness V2 FNF mod, I have been reacting to the creepypastas, EXE's, Memes, and animations that were in the mod such as '"The Coronation Day", "I Hate You.exe", and even the "YOU CANNOT BEAT US" Nintendo AD Commercial from the early 80's and 90's that was referenced in the song "Unbeatable". We now check out "Power Star" where Mario gets possessed by a bunch of Boos and his only mission is to get all the power stars in the Mushroom Kingdom! He won't let ANYONE get in his way... even Princess Peach, Yoshi, the Toads... and his own brother Luigi! It's Mario VS Luigi in an insane epic battle to save the Mushroom Kingdom! Will "Devil Mario" win and get the Stars? Or will Luigi save the day? Let's find out...

Next up is the Super Mario 64: Classified analog horror. The promo show is a part of it, but begin from the start. There are two seasons.
The songs that were part of this analog horror in the Mario Madness mod were Promotion, Abandoned and The End.
I think that's all, so I really hope you'll watch it! In my opinion, it's one of the best analog horror series ever!
In the ending, it was the Boos unpossessing Mario to show him the destruction of everything he loved. So Mario took the brief time to end himself to stop them. Its basically them trying to brag only to lose in the end.

Actually, what happened near the end there my dear Mairusu is that Mario was able regain control over his body just long enough to "exit the game" (to put it lightly 😆😆), so the Boos would *also* "exit the game" before they could do any more harm to anymore of Mario's friends, not unpossessing him, then REpossessing him 😌😌

@@Mairusutoo bad this wasn’t any Luigi from the Luigi’s mansion series. If it was that’s just messed up if Luigi just straight up watched Mario get possessed instead of pulling out the poltergeist 3000 or poltergeist 5000
The VA for Mario and Luigi in this animation also voiced Rockoon in T.O.M.E. and RECENTLY voiced Sonic in Sonic Prime! He's come a long way!
What's heartbreaking is those who are watching this series blindly could only get devastated by the ending, those who came to watch this series for the first time after seeing the FnF mod however, are gut wrenched from the start.
They KNOW how this is gonna end for Luigi.

In case you were confused on the ending, Devil Mario (Mario when he was posssessed) wanted to show Mario what he has done to his friends, but Mario took that opportunity to sacrifice his own life so Devil Mario wouldn’t do anymore damage to any other kingdom. In my opinion, that was a bold move from him
Bold, but worth the sacrifice.
it means a lot to me that you watched the powerstar series because of MM v2, im the artist of the bg an concept sprites of no hope and this is what i wanted by having Devil Mario into the mod, i really love this series and i wanted more people to knew about it...

If you do plan on watching promo show, watch the rest of the series as well. The whole Mario 64 classified series is really good, but the later episodes do get a little long.

basically, in the end, the short moment that Mario was given to see his dead princess an brother was actually taken by Mario to kill himself and commit suicide. The boos didn't expect that, and tried taking over his body once again to stop Mario from dying and keep control of the world, but to no avail.
Mario flash animations were the stuff back then
Super Mario combat came Before this chronologically, which is why Bowser couldn't help, he was killed in super Mario combat
For the ending, the boos let Mario be aware again to witness the chaos to make him feel miserable. But Mario took this chance to stab himself killing him and the boos with it

Dude, me and my bro watch the Power Star series when I was 10 years old and he was 9 years old back in summer 2010. And it's the badass Mario Flash animations ever made in my childhood. The ending was very emotional and depression too.

Funnily enough, there is an animation where SMBZ Mario ends up against Devil Mario during Power Star 2.
While there is one part (so far) out of three, it's pretty damn good and may end up with an alternate good ending.

If you enjoyed Power Star and want to know how the story first started, im sure you'll also like Power Star: Reimagined, which is a retelling of the story (same events but starts as a prequel), very well animated, and even has the original creator's involvement. It's really underrated, and it would be awesome if you checked it out.

I didn’t realize this on my first watch, but now I recognize the music in the background at the fight scene starting at 8:02 - it shares a lot of the same motifs as the song in Mario’s Madness. (It comes back at 11:45 as well.)

"No Hope" fits this SO well... the mod's creators hit it out of the park. (Since you used "No Hope" over the copyrighted music, and it still works so well)

Suggestion: React to Battle of Sprites if you want to see more sprite animations and it not only have Mario characters it also has a couple of sonic characters as well (as long with other series).

@@Mairusu your welcome and I guarantee you that you won't regret watching Battle of Sprites it's very good and while some could agrue that the fights aren't as cool as Smbz the fights are still entertaining. Also apparently Mark Haynes (the creator of smbz) actually really like one of spacepea's series(spacepea is the person who made Battle of sprites) that being super all stars bros.
there's also a new official sequel to the power star series that released a few months ago called power star reimagined a prequel that takes place before the original power star saga

10:09 tbf, Mario was often throwing Yoshis off cliffs.
Mario killed himself because gaining back control for just a millisecond & seeing the genocide that Devil Mario had generated, he saw it as his one & only chance to get the boos outta his body & in a moment of quick thinking he stuck a katana into his chest, ending the boos control over him, the slaughter, & his own life.

An animation created by Flashgitz who are notorious because of how many people reacted to their content in the past.
