You can tell a lot of things about a person by the way they act when they're interrupted and how they treat their kids. This guy just picked his kid up and kept going, he was totally relaxed. He didn't get all stiff and irritated and start calling someone up to get the kid off stage. He doesn't act like his kid is an inconvenience, which is awesome.

Honestly for an sleepy kid he was really chill. All the kids I know (including myself) had very strong tantrums when they lacked sleep, this baby was like a plushie, just wanted some daddy cuddles.

Boys are entirely capable of gentle caregiving behavior. I've worked in childcare in various capacities for years and honestly I've seen boys display kindness and caregiving behaviors at least as often as girls, we just tend to train it out of boys. Big brother looks like he's in his tweens, hopefully mom and dad will continue to nurture that instinct instead of training it out of him. We need more men that are emotionally intelligent.

@@frankm.2850 I think the parents mirror traits which the children naturally imitate, such as the type of caring behaviour his big brother showed. He didn't try to force him because he seemed to be enjoying himself. That little fella running around on stage with his soother kills me every time.
I'm not a fan of Gavin Newsom as a politician, but I will say this: If your kid runs to you for safety, that means they feel safe with you, which makes you a good parent.

Since this is America we're talking about, it depends entirely on who you ask whether he's a demon or an angel.
As a Californian, he’s our governor and in my opinion I think he’s doing fine. The choices as a head of state are difficult, like having to close businesses due to covid, but the importance is monumental. I think he’s doing great so far.
Well he’s stopped controlled burns that native Americans used to do. Which may or maybe not have led to the severe fires. Also to combat climate change, he’s turning people’s power off for several hours a day. So form your opinion around that.
Like I said, it all depends on who you ask, these two people's opinions are polar opposites.

@Lana Joy hm, didnt know thats what the pacifier caused, kinda an ignorant comment on my part. not child abuse but i definitely wouldnt give a pacifer to my kid at that age now that i know what it causes. braces are pretty uh irritating and very expensive if you don't have the proper healthcare though so i kinda understand the comments.

Why do people care so much about a two-year-old having a pacifier? It's not that big of a deal, everyone gets weened off at different ages; I personally had one until I was three, and that didn't leave me with detrimental issues.

The kid’s reaction showed way more than the dad’s ever could, just “he’s doing something important now but first comes me!!” That dad is a real sucker for his kid, what an awesome dude. My mom was a teenage mom. I remember a video about mom's graduation when she's giving a valedictorian speech (?). I ran towards the stage and started crying (idk why I was crying probably because of people) I was 2/3 that time before she excuse herself, pick me up and gave me to my father.
